Ok, I have eaten BBQ all over creation and these guys try real hard however, is hard to say they are the best. First of all the Best slab of Ribs without question is at Houston's restaurants, and there is one in Cherry Creek area on 2nd and Josephine. Anyone who loves ribs should pilgrimage to Houston's albeit that it is expensive, it is an experience beyond belief. I have 17 years experience with Houston's. Incredible. The best BBQ in Boulder is hands down KT's. However it is a horrific dining experience and best for take out. KT's has the rib house beat on dry rub ribs (better taste and juicer), beans (the best with big chunks of pork and awesome zip), and sauce. i have 12 years experience with KT's. Rib house's beans are like Van Dekamps and their sauce couldn't beat Bullseye. Sorry. Most of the places in Longmont are a yawn as well. Bottom line go to Houston's!! If not take out some ribs from Kt's and get busy! more

Awesome Ribs and Sauce! 1/10/2009

Wow, these people "have it going on" with ribs and their own home-made barbeque sauce! The ribs are slow-cooked overnight, so their very tender and just fall off the bone. The bbq sauce completes their ribs to the T. So tastey, and you can buy their award-winning sauce. A must try.||[] ||[]You'll love this place and be back for more! more

Best baby backs EVER 10/5/2008

These are the best baby back ribs I've ever eaten. Fall of the bone tender and perfectly smoky. I travel all over the country for work, and it still surprises me the best ribs are in Longmont of all places. A bit of a drive from Denver, but absolutely worth it. more

The Absolute BEST 4/29/2006

I discovered the Rib House while in Longmont on business a couple of years ago. Now it's our favorite place to eat in Colorado! Absolutely the most tender, best-tasing ribs we've ever had! The carrot cake is out of this world too! Beautiful setting in a unique neighborhood. During our week-long visit we were at the Rib House 3 times, and even brought ribs home to Michigan for family! We'll definitely eat here anytime we're in Colorado! Just wish we could get them here anytime! Pros: Wonderful food, Beautiful area more

Best Ribs Ever! 9/10/2005

I've eaten a lot of ribs at a lot of places, but nothing has compared to The Rib House. The meat is fall-off-the-bone tender and has great flavor even without sauce (they give a choice of four). While the location may be out of the way for some, its presence in the middle of Prospect New Town makes for one of the greatest outdoor patios imaginable. I've heard the carrot cake is supposed to be terrific- I plan to try it if I ever have room left over (doubtful!) Pros: the food, environment, friendly Cons: hard to find, beer & wine only more

Best BBQ on the Front Range! 8/16/2005

Wow! This place rocks! The owners are the friendliest peolple and they work the front counter-how's that for service! I had a spicy hot bbq pork sandwich for only 3.95! Their homemade brownies are about half the size of a brick (hey only 1.50 too!)and yum! It is worth the drive to Prospect Park just north of Boulder. This urban village is a sight to see! So pack up the kids, and take the 20-30 minute drive up 287 to this awesome bbq place! Pros: Good for kids, Friendly Service, DineIn or Take Out Cons: It's in Longmont more

Best BBQ Restaurant period 6/16/2005

Finding good BBQ in Colorado is a rare experience. Who would have known the best ribs, brisket, and pork could be found in Longmont? I stop by for lunch every time I am in Longmont. Their ribs are very smoky and full of flavor, putting sauce on these ribs should be a crime. Their brisket is juicy and very tender. Be sure to order some of their chipotle potato salad and cheesy corn bake as sides dishes, you won't be sorry. Finding The Rib House the first time is tricky, but well worth the effort.
