Best pet store with the best team of caring staff on the planet! Every worker is always smiling and eager to help you in any way they can. Everyone there is just so kind, and really goes above and beyond to help ensure your pets are well taken care of. I truly value customer service as a major factor in my shopping and that's why I've been shopping only at Pet Warehouse for several years. In my opinion, the best place in town for pets and most supplies. I buy all my dog food and bird supplies here. Friendly and helpful employees. Also the only place I take my birds for beak and wing cutting. My wife and daughter like to go just to see all the birds they have. more

I love this store all the staff is amazing and i got most of my animals there they give everything you need to know to keep your new pet in great health i adopted my new puppy from there and their staff is absolutely amazing the workers are always happy and know how to lighten the mood i would never go to another pet store i will always go there greatest store ever! more

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE 1/6/2014

One year ago we bought our lab mix there. She had worms. It was an easy fix and I figured it was just a fluke. We recently bought our pitt bull puppy there as well. The day we got her home she had a cough. We took her to the vet and they told us that she had an upper respiratory infection. They also told me that the Pet Warehouse is known for having roaches. And that roaches carry many diseases that can be deadly for puppies. We got her medication and went on our way. The next day my poor puppy was MISERABLE. She wouldn't eat or drink. And so we took her to the vet again and they told us that our 8 week old puppy had a sever case of pneumonia. They also told us that we needed to put her in an intensive care unit and that they didn't think that she had a very good chance of making it. Two weeks and more than $900 later, she's getting better. I called pet warehouse during All of this and they REFUSED to pay her medical bills and told us that they would REPLACE our puppy. Parakeets not healthy 2/20/2013

So yesterday we came home and found that our beloved parakeet had passed away while we were gone. A parakeet that we had gotten from pet warehouse. This is the fourth parakeet that my family had purchased from this store, I don't know where they get their birds from, but every one that was purchased from here did not live very long. The parakeet before this one died three days after we had brought him home! We have had parakeets for years and know how to raise them. A keet is supposed to live for about 10-15 years, this one barely made it to seven. I've learned my lesson and am absolutely heartbroken over it, I will never, ever buy another parakeet from them and I would advise everyone else not to either. more

Last Saturday my husband & I came in and were helped by Bob. We found carpet for the 3 rooms we needed at a reasonable price and better yet it was available immediately and we had it installed just 4 days later. This was so much better than either of the home improvement stores we visited. more

Illegality 10/9/2012

Is it against the law for this pet store to buy a litter of pup's found on a fencing construction site? I happen to know the person who brings puppies he finds to the Pet Warehouse in Jacksonville, NC. He gets paid peanuts for the puppies and then they are sold for much more. If this is against the law I will surely give out the name of the person bringing the litters in. more

unprofessional and dirty 9/21/2012

this is the worst pet shop i've ever been to, but due to lack of option they are the only available to date for feeders. the slanderous unprofessional staff is iladvised and uneducated in exotics and gurus, dogs are over priced and normally sick, fish are lacking and barely last. I cannot understand why they hire kids, ex junkys and poorly groomed people with bad attitudes to work around animals much less people. I cannot wait for a real pet shop to open in this area more
