The Honest Plumber

I never thought I would be rating a plumber online but here I am. These guys were by far the best I have had! We have an older home in the Summerlin area, and we have had our fair share of plumbing issues over the past few years. I feel bad because I caused this guy some grief but he really came through for us with his excellent service. Thanks Honest Plumber! more

The positive reviews for ""Honest Plumber"" are fake. How do I know? Because I used ""Honest Plumber"" and got ripped off. I had no hot water in the shower so I called ""Honest Plumber"". Guy named Ivan shows up and says that shower cartridge is stuck and has to be removed. Ivan says it will cost $275 and that is what everybody else charges. I say ""OK"". It takes Ivan 10 minutes to change the cartridge! And the item costs $40! So for 10 minutes work he has charged me $235 for labor, that is $1,410 per hour of work!!! more

The worst, They came to power jet the sew and collapsed the line, then never came back to fix, left me with no sew drainage. Left it to me to find other help and fix my self,or pay$10000.00 and they would repair my old line. I did for under $500.00. Almost one month late Tony called and wanted me to pay $1250.00 thier time spent,but not fixing my line. I said no, and he said they would sue. more

I want to thank Troy at the Honest Plumber for getting a plumber to my house for the emergncy. Not a single toilet would flush and the sinks did not drain. The 2 plumbers worked at 9 at night . Thanks for the help. more

Highly recommended by my neighbors for a water conditioning system. We were tired of the hard water and ready for a change. Plumber that was sent out was prompt and professional. He called the owner to get a discount for us. We have enjoyed the soft water for a week now and are wondering why we didn't get this unit sooner more

I took the best estimate of 3 companies and considered if they were with the Better Business Bureau or not. Reasearch on my part paid off. Honest plumber replaced the water heater and garbage disposal within the price given. and asked if I was satisfied. He was clean and seemed nice. Good way to start the weekend -- hot water and a disposal. more

I waited for over five hours! They are never on time. Do not believe the appointment time that they give you. Don't lose time from work and wait for them. It happened to me personally. more

I was in a fix which plumbing firm to call for my problem. One of my office pipes was leaking and water was dripping in my office. My admin. Officer called up honest plumbers saying that they would arrive quickly. I was so impressed by the time and the service they gave. I would recommend honest plumbers service to people of Las Vegas. They are reasonable, and fast to rectify any sort of leakage. Thank you honest plumber inc. more

Reading the negative reviews will get you better acquainted with how this company operates. I picked this plumber to come out only because they offer a free estimate. They overcharged me by at least a couple of hundred dollars to clean out a drain. After being unable to clear the drain, they wanted to charge me an extra few thousand to tear out brand new kitchen cabinets and replace the drain. I finally decided to pay for a second opinion. They did the job without tearing out the kitchen cabinets, (we're very relieved). They did it for less than a thousand dollars. The drain is working wonderfully. My advice is to look around. I knew nothing about plumbing and this company took advantage of that and made me a fool. more

There was a leakage in my kitchen, but was unable to be sorted out. I searched & found The honest Plumber on net. I called up them & we fixed a time. Technician arrives on time. The technician who arrived was very nice and with the equipment he brought he managed to find the leak. Than he told me the price and with my ok, he solved the problem in no time. He also gave me discount as I am a teacher. Thanks a lot The honest Plumber. Great job in Las Vegas. more

I really don't understand all the positive reviews. I guess if you don't compare prices and just need someone... anyone asap, then maybe you can go w/ them. However, if you don't like to get ripped off and like having a sense of peace about forking out $$, then I wouldn't recommend. These reviews make me wonder?? On to the story...\r \r I called to get a shower valve replaced. They quoted me $500. I asked how much the part was and they said it was $300 for a 'good brand'. I told him I'd buy the part myself, but he told me to be sure to get it at a 'plumbing store'. The stores he told me to visit are the high-end kitchen/bathroom stores??\r \r Anyways, so I called Home Depot and they said they have all the same brands. The guy at HD (who used to be a plumber) said it didn't really matter as long as I didn't get a cheap brand. So I bought the part for about $80. I called 'The Honest Plumber' back and asked how much for just the labor since I already bought the part. He told me $400! I asked him how long it would take and he said 2 hrs. My response: ""So you're charging me $200 per hour?"" I hung up, called the guy at HD back and he said it should take a plumber about 30-60 minutes as long as some unforeseen problem didn't come up. \r \r Long story short, these guys didn't come out to my house... obviously. But when all we ask for is someone HONEST that does good work at a fair price... it's a non-starter for ""The Honest Plumber"".\r \r more

One morning I found that my kitchen has turned into a swimming pool because of a water pipe leakage. In hurry I just rang up with The Honest Plumber and told my problem. They came very soon to my home and fix the problem in just 10- 15 min. They were the really technicians of pipe fittings. Great work. more

It's so nice to find good service in this town. These guys know how to deliver, I'm not looking for the dirty handyman who does cheap work, I want someone in my house that is clean and professional and these guys fit the bill. I am a professional and I have high standards. My plumber had a rug at my door and booties, then he was very educational and understanding. This guy is well trained. I asked if they do training and he replied they do four days a week, I work for a large advertising agency and we have 1 meeting a week. It pays off! This guy wowed me and did a great job and there was no mess. I don't know if he was cheap or expensive but I felt I got what I paid for. more

Plumber from Honest could have soaked me but did not. He beat 2 other companies on the cloged sink, toilets and shower. Was out fast to help. Discount for senior. more

Mother's Day was almost a disaster -- water heater flooded the laundry room and garage. Mark from Honest Plumber came out in no time and replaced the heater. He even helped clean the mess. Nice guy and honest. Pros: helpful/honest more

There are companies that understand this and I know the Honest Plumber is one of those companies. The Honest Plumber is credible, commendable, would not lie cheat or steal. He is truthful, trustworthy, fair and sincere. He is straitforward & free from deceit. His success is gained & earned by fair methods and not by cheating, lying or stealing. He is genuine, pure, frank & open. P.S. I like it that reviews on kudzu, citysearch, insiderpages, superpages, bing, yellowbot, yellowpages, etc. can be withdrawn at anytime. After returning from a 10 day vacation, we found water dripping from the ceiling. Honest plumber came right out and located the leak coming from the pipes in the shower. They even assisted with helping us contact our insurance provider for reimbursement. We appreciated their help and highly recommend them to others. Pros: Leak Resolved more
