Worst

went to Home Depot in Monrovia to buy a scrow for my patio door... very simple buy however, the size of the original screw was different than what displayed... NO one in the Hardw...

Poor Customer Service 3/3/2010

went to Home Depot in Monrovia to buy a scrow for my patio door... very simple buy however, the size of the original screw was different than what displayed... NO one in the Hardware dpet to ask for help!!!, i ask the 2 cashiers to page for help... they did 2-4 times but no one shows up ..as i am was in rush... I have to buy 3-4 different screw to check which on fits my needs... i was so mad about the service ... Martin, store manager at that night was not managing anything :( if you are in hurry do not shop there... if you have few hours to buy just one screw go ahead. more

Better than the other ones in the area 5/25/2006

This store is bigger than the Glendale store -even though Glendale is closer, I always go here. There are a *few* great employees here that actually know their stuff, seek those out and you'll have a great experience. The flower selections puts the other Home Depots to shame. When Glendale or Alhambra is out of stock on a certain tool or appliance, usually this pace has it. It's big, it's impersonal, but as far as Home Depots go, it's not bad. more

Do not purchase cabinets from Home Depot. 12/8/2005

I just had the worst experience with a Kraft Maid cabinet order through the Home Depot (November 2005). Home Depot and Kraft Maid finally just refunded all my $, but not before we went through a ridiculous runaround for 8 weeks. Which has now delayed our simple bathroom remodel by 8 weeks. I strongly advise against purchasing any cabinets from Home Depot (very poor service and when unable to deliver they blame their vendor but don't fix the situation) or ever purchasing Kraft Maid cabinets (very poor product, ours arrived with defects that occured prior to shipping). There really is no reason to ever shop at Home Depot. Their lumber is of lower quality than Lowes and much worse than the local lumberyards. Any product or service that uses a 3rd party vendor should never be purchased through Home Depot, they just do not have the commitment or management to deal with those relationships. Just what you would Expect 3/2/2005

Just exactly what you would expect from a very very large home improvement store. Staff is a little hard to find but generally you can find what you have come for. PROS: Terrific return policy and nice selection. CONS: Big Big Big store sometimes its hard to find what you are looking for. I feel like I need a nap afterwords. more

Safe, Friendly and Knowledgeable 8/8/2002

The people at this Home Depot is what makes this place work. Always friendly and ready to assist you with any questions you have. Ive been to other locations where I stand for 15-20 min at a particular department just to have the person meander over. The people here are always at their stations, and will help anyone out with info even if it isnt their department. The reviewer before me is right as well. Ive been to this Home Depot late at night, and there is no place safer than here. Pros: Customer Service, Knowledgeable, open 24 hours more

Open 24 hrs with security 6/13/2002

A 24 hour store with a security guard in the parking lot and the reciept checker at the door. The funny thing is that I have never visited a Home Depot that checks reciepts. Must be the area? Service was good but it's always hard to find someone to answer my questions. But after all it's 24 hours for those items you need to buy in the middle of the night or early mornings. more
