Just ate at the Greenbriar, it was pretty disapointing. The service was very good but the food wasn't anything special. Out of 6 dishes, only 2 of them were really

The Greenbriar is one of our most favorite restaurants. It is out in the country and the building is like an old formal road house. The food is spectacular and their wine list amazing. The service is the best in the front range. You are treated as a special guest and the waiters are so well mannered and informed. We enjoyed a quiet dinner and we could hear each other talk. It is a pleasure not to be drowned out by blaring music. It was a wonderful New Years event! more

We'd been to the Greenbriar for brunch before, but never for dinner. There were 4 of us for Thanksgiving dinner. We all got the turkey dinner which was excellent. For a Thanksgiving feel, they give you seconds of either the whole meal or just the parts you want. You can also choose white and dark meat, or just one or the other. Everything was excellent and we all got seconds. The wait staff was excellent and we never felt like they were rushing us out to fill the table again (we were there for about 2 hours). We're hoping to make this a new family tradition. more

Our stay at the Greenbrier was very nice however I was in charge of a 20ish person corporate retreat and conference for CIOs. This was our 3rd or fourth time hosting this event at the Greenbrier and the group there seems to never be able to get it right or know who we are. Service and Staff are very nice but I don't believe they treasure or respect corporate relationships unless you are with a Fortune ranked organization. The Greenbrier was great to experience at least once and hard to not spend a large amount of money. Many good things to say about the Greenbrier for personal stay (if you have no budget) more

If you're on the fence about booking a stay, you will not regret your stay at world famous The Greenbrier, America's Resort. You are in very caring experienced and expert hands from the moment of arrival. Be sure to include time for several treatments at their world class Greenbrier Spa. We had mineral baths, facials and pedicures, all divine. Dining is exceptional here, don't miss it. A wonderful place for family, friends reunion, romantic getaway or a private pampering stay. more

My husband and I were married at the Greenbriar Inn this past July. We had an outdoors ceremony on the cabin lawn, followed by a sit-down dinner and reception inside the restaurant. To be honest, I am a Nature-lover and had originally wished to get married on the summit - or even the side - of a mountain here in Colorado. The hike wouldn't have been fair to some of our guests, though. Also, the catering and other services for a fully outdoor wedding turned out to be much more complicated and expensive than I had expected. When I visited the full-service Greenbriar Inn, nestled against the beautiful foothills of Boulder, I knew that I'd found a place that would meet everyone?s needs beautifully. I tend to shy away from most formalities, but I enjoy classy surroundings - and excellent food - at the same time. There is an understated elegance to the Greenbriar, a lack of pretension combined with superior service, which is very appealing. I've been told that it's highly hectic and stressful for a lot of brides on their wedding day, and had been warned that I may not even get to enjoy the food and all the other details that I had spent so much painstaking time and effort selecting. What a terrible thought! However, thanks to the combined efforts of our outstanding event planner, the kitchen and service staff, the groundskeeper, and the owners themselves, I can even say that I had a wonderful time at my own wedding. (I must mention that we were also blessed with perfect weather, although I was confident that any unforeseen situations would be taken in stride by the venue.) The vendors were perfectly coordinated, all the minutiae of the day were paid attention to with care and precision, and everything flowed seamlessly from one event to the next. We had added some special touches to our ceremony, including a release of live Monarch butterflies. My groom remarked that he had simply handed the package to the event planner, and then the butterflies were simply ready and waiting when it was time to release them. We were also grateful to have the flexibility to customize our event to our personal preferences in various ways. Here is another example of the service we received: After my groom and I were ?introduced? at the reception, the head server was thoughtful enough to bring each of us plates with a selection of delicious hors de'oeuvres. We would have missed them otherwise, since we were having our photos taken while everyone else was having cocktails. It was the attention to little details like this that made our experience so special. Our wedding was a thorough success with our family and friends, whose ages ranged from 18 to 80. The words I have heard most often in response to our wedding are ?beautiful? and ?delicious?. Everything I could have hoped for - and my husband has stated that he is glad to have a special place that we can both look forward to visiting again. more

The Greenbriar is a great place for a relaxing Sunday brunch. We tend to bring our out of town company here, it never disappoints - there is food for any and everyone! The champagne is a nice added bonus to brunch. We will always come back! more

A perfect Sunday Brunch on a perfect September morning with outstanding service. We have been dining at The Greenbriar Inn for special occasions over the past 15 years. This visit was to formally bookend our daughter's recent wedding (at The Greenbriar Inn) with a relaxed Sunday morning recapping the recent events. The food was outstanding as usual, the service was crisp and welcoming and the setting outside on the patio was wonderful. All in all, perfect. Thanks Phil for the personal touch you add to each visit. more

This is the type of place that feels timeless while being both relaxed and up-scale at the same time. The food is great and the service is professional, but the atmosphere is very calm and laid-back. I had a steak here that was cooked to perfection and on another evening i had the most flavorful prime rib that I can more

The beef Wellington was delicious. Even though I was barely hungry I couldn't stop eating it because it was possibly the best I've ever had. Table side Caesar was excellent. more

There are no words to describe this magnificent Hotel. There truly is no other place like it in the world. The service is impeccable, the rooms are clean and spacious, the spring fed pools (1 inside and 1 out) are gorgeous, and there isn't one thing to complain about. Pros: Huge rooms, perfectly clean, service you'll never see anywhere else, 3 great restaurants, golf course, plenty of stuff to do (that costs a lot of $$$), a casinos spring fed pools, garden tubs, great WIFI (inside and out), and the most comfortable beds. Cons: extremely EXPENSIVE FOR EVERYTHING (ex: 1 game of bowling is $60), there is absolutely nothing around there except for a Wendy's and a Dollar General, very uppity, and a very strict dress code. Women do not forget the dresses and heels and men dent forget collared shirts, khakis, and a dress jacket. To sum it up i would live there if I could. Its perfect for couples and family's. But be prepared to fork out some dough! more

The Greenbrier is a living dream for a vacation. From the outstanding staff who makes everyone feel like a valued friend, to the gorgeous grounds, to the varied activities (including falconry, something I've never seen offered at a resort), to the spa and pools, to golf and tennis, and so much more. The rooms were spacious and five star. There is nothing here that I could possibly be negative about. I did not have one experience that was less than exceptional. I hated to leave and plan on returning again as soon as possible. I'm changing next year's travel plans just so that I can add the Greenbrier to my agenda more

Love love loved my first trip to the Greenbrier. The interior design is absolutely breathtaking but don't sell yourself short by spending all of your time indoors. The outdoors is where its AT!!! From the moment I arrived I noticed that the air smells like honey. The mountains and scenery are spectacular. My massage was one of the best that I have ever had. Service was great. My favorite restaurant was the one in the golf club. The waiter there said that he was a second or third generation employee and ""it was a privilege to work at The Greenbrier"". WOW!!! What an awesome attitude! \r \r An unexpected detail was that the housekeepers were super nice and also left a handwritten note in my room every day. I felt like I was on a ""grown up glamorous camping"" trip...which I hear is called ""glamping"". This trip will be the first of many. more
