I went to the Boston location and was let down. I had the three course prix fixe, and the fresh tomato salad first course was delicious, but then the same dish was served as a si...

NOT WHAT I WAS EXPECTING. 7/29/2011

THE FOOD QUALITY IT'S NOT THE SAME. FOOD IS TOO EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT YOU REALLY GET. THE FOOD WAS NOT TO HOT. ALSO THE WAITING TIME FOR SERVING THE FOOD WAS TOO LONG. I CAN EAT BETTER IN OTHER RESTAURANT FOR LESS AND BETTER QUALITY more

excellent food 4/3/2006

I have never had food like this, the service was beautiful and the entire interior was also amazing. I think if you want a nice dinner that may be a little on the elegant side then this is the place to go, classy yet a little bit casual. the prices are higher but they are easily what you would expect in a place like this! more

Our Elephant Experience 2/6/2006

The Elephant Walk is an elegant and comfortable restaurant serving both French and Cambodian dishes. The culinary standards are high and the tastes are often unique. We've been going to Elephant Walk for more than 10 years - ever since they first opened in the basement of a building in Somerville's Union Square. The restaurant has always been popular. In fact, you might call it a local culinary phenomenon. It has spawned several cookbooks and it offers its own cooking classes. Our family tends to go for the Cambodian side of the menu - partly because the Cambodian dishes are relatively inexpensive and partly because we're addicted. One item in particular - Curry de Légumes ($12.95 as of February '06) - is highly recommended. It's unique, quintessential Elephant Walk cooking - and we CRAVE it! The spring rolls (Rouleaux) are the family-favorite appetizer. In addition to being delicious, they provide a nice activity for the kids (some assembly requried). Sadly, unlike the Brookline branch, the Elephant in Cambridge is not open for lunch. more

Elephant Walk is a french cambodian restaurant located in Cambridge/Porter Square and Brookline. It's Loc Lac (steak cubes marinated in garlic sauce) is to die for. It also offers a great variety of vegetarian dishes. It's prix-fix menu on weekdays offers you a three course dinner for $30. more
