14 years ago the Cat Doctor came to my home the next evening after a call for euthanasia, could not have been kinder or more compassionate. My present cat has been diagnosed, and sadly, if we love her, we have to let her go. I called the Cat Doctor again, to spare her the trauma of the office visit. I asked for cost for the service; was put on hold and then was told that the Dr was booked for 3 months for house calls (was never given a price at all). I stated my surprise that she would not have a few spots held in reserve for sick animals that might not be able to arrange not to be sick for 3 months, and was told, 'we haven't seen you for 14 years; any spots we reserve would be for people who come here.' wow. My beloved pet is dying and that is what you can manage?
