I had an experience with this shop that I wasn't happy about, when I contacted the owner Kevin, he was very nice, and helpful at fixing the situation. I may or may not have overreacted to the situation, but I do know that Kevin, the owner, totally stepped up and took care of it! more

Cheap Practices - Don't use them Loveland! 12/31/2011

They did a brake job for me. Charged me full price for everything, then noticed later that they didn't even turn the rotors. What a rip off. Could have put on a set of pads myself and saved myself 100.00 bucks. I wouldn't trust them to do quality work ever again. That's too bad, they used to have a good reputation. Should have realized the place went down hill, the parking lot was full of snow and ice and the office was a pit--- Lazy slobs must work there! more

Deceptive Trade practice 8/21/2010

I had my older vehicle assessed: was told it needed new rotors & pads. I asked if the rotors could be resurfaced-they hadn't even measured their wear. They became defensive and quoted +$500.00 for the work. I took the vehicle to a local tire shop-had the rotors turned within specification and paid $325.00. more

Brake Shop is great, honest, auto repair 12/5/2009

I had my car at another shop in Fort Collins and they were telling me I needed almost $700 in brake work and that it was unsafe to drive. I called Kevin at the Brake Shop and he got me in right away, even though it was Saturday. He looked at the car and was able to fix it for only around $500 a lot less. Great work, Honest staff more

Brake Shop - fast service, reasonable price, cooperative staff 10/3/2009

Stopped in today for an inspection, knew my pads were getting worn. Got me right in for an inspection. When the verdict came back - worn front pads and adjustment needed in the back, I asked how long and how much. The cost came in very reasonable, and he could do it "right then". On a busy Saturday! So in less than an hour, I had new brakes on my old but reliable Toyota. Kevin even brought out my old pads so I could see how they compared to new pads. Thanks! more

Great Work very honest 5/9/2009

I went to the Brake Shop in Loveland on Eisenhower. I am a young single girl and don't know anything about cars. Another shop told me my brakes wern't safe to drive. I was scared. I went to the Brake Shop and kevin told me what really was wrong ( about half of what the other shop said) and even called my dad to explain the work. I felt very comfortable there. They really cared. Great job. more

great service,price 3/11/2009

I just received an estimate from another shop for over 600.00 dollars. The brake Shop fixed my car for under 300.00 dollars. They took me home while they worked on my car and picked me up when it was done. I didn't even have an appointment and they fixed my car the same day. These guys were great. more

Trusted service for years! 3/11/2009

Kevin and his team at the Brake Shop always work diligently to make sure your car leaves in better shape. They charge a fair price for good work - we have been bringing our vehicles to them for years and have never had any problems. Kevin is direct and honest if there is ever more than just normal maintenance needed - better than getting the runaround at other national shops! Trust these guys they are good.\r \r M&Ms\r Broomfield, CO more

Bad, Bad, Bad.... tsk tsk 10/7/2008

I stopped in because i had excessive tire wear on the outside of my tires. So they quickly and rudely asked for keys and began testing for problems. I stood there anxiously awaiting a verdict, when the guy goes by me with no eye contact, or any type of care in the world that i was wondering what was wrong, to go type up estimate. He then simply slapped me with an estimate of $508 +tax and said get tires changed and come see him.\r \r No explanation, no advice got me worrying and knowing that something wasn't right. So I went down to Bear Alignment (just a few blocks away), and he told me it would be roughly $230 to fix it. And didn't need the 4 extra parts that Brake shop was trying to sell me. I left paying $217 from Bear Alignment and my truck was perfect again! \r \r The Brake Shop is out to "get you " and your business, while Bear Alignment was there to "Earn" my business. more

Terrible Customer Service! 7/7/2008

My A/C did not work so I took it in to get it checked out. The told me I needed all of my belts changed, my brakes chenged, and a few other services as well. I knew that it needed alot of work so I agreed to let them do it. I spent $1100.00 to get the works done to my van. It was done well and I left happy. \r \r A week later there was a noise so I took it back in. A guy told me that it was not because of prior work that he could take a look at it. He said it sounded like a "pump" was going out. I had my family in the van so I could not wait but I would take it in to Kia to to get it repaired under warranty. \r \r The next week the vehicle would not start and I called them back to get them to rectify the situation. The guy got aggrivated with me and said they will look at it if I bring it in. I told him that it would not start and asked them if they could tow it. He asked if it was the Kia he looked at, I said yes and asked if he was the owner, to which he replied yes. He start more

Scandalous practices 10/7/2007

They charged me $369 for a brake job. Basically all they had to do was replace the rotors on the front. The pads on my truck were brand new ceramic pads I put on myself a week earlier. They took those off and put new, cheaper pads on and charged me $90 for the pads and an hour in labor. I won't be back and don't recommend them. When I asked them about it, they said it was policy they put new pads on. Well there was already new pads on and you know it! more

A great shop for your brakes. 11/11/2005

Within a months time we heard brake noises from both our vehicles. They thoroughly examined each wheel and gave accurate estimates. After we excepted the work, the quickly made the repair and test drove the vehicle before turning it over to us. They are thorough and we drove away feeling our vehicle was once again safe and had quality parts. While waiting, I witnessed them doing work for someone for nothing on something that hadnt worked right the first time. They aim to please! The are centrally located very conveniently near the intersection of Hwy 34 and Hwy 287. PROS: Great location. Very thorough. Aim to please! CONS: more
