a great 'quaint' vacation spot in SD! 5/12/2009

This location is absolutely fabulous. You literally stay ON the pier. There is a great breakfast restaurant within a few feet, you're right over the beach. Tons of restaurants, shopping and great night life for a college age crowd. Lots of 'beach bars' and so many great restaurants within walking distance! I recommend The Green Flash, for breakfast (or dinner - right on the beach, you can watch the sunset!) more

The cottages are cute and vintage! It is a perfect vacation spot and the location is perfect along the beach. It is fun to stay in something retro for a little while. more

The Beach Cottages are really 1940s cottages on the beach. Located on Pacific Beach, with one or two bedroom complete with kitchen cottages they are close to everything. You get the wonderful feeling of a small community in the heart of a big city. A really fabulous way to vacation in San Diego where you can hear the waves thru your open window at night.
