Dont waste your time 7/12/2021

Tried for 3 full days to purchase a car from this dealer. Im located in St louis Mo. I got few returned calls, was passed to an inexperienced sales person named Manny. We agreed upon a price $300 off ask. He kept asking for a $1k deposit, which I agreed to all I ask as for a sales contract with an agreed upon price in it. Thats what I could never get from them. All I got was excuses and silence. When i finally got a hold of the sale manager Mo ( who did seem nice and was out sick he tells me sorry the car just sold) this car had sat on their lot for 90+ days already. I have never seem a more unprofessional poorly run dealership in my life. I would not recommending wasting your time with this dealer. They are very shady and not trust worthy in my opinion . more

A Great Experience 8/8/2011

My wife and I were looking for a 2010 Mazda5 with manual trans, but apparently those are as rare as hens teeth and one couldn't be located, so she stopped by Autobarn Mazda to look at a 2012 with manual trans. They let her take it home for a couple of days and she really liked it. We stopped by on Saturday 4/16 to talk about purchasing and we drove home with it. Andre was our salesperson, but being that this was a Saturday and he was very busy with multiple customers, we also got assistance from Jon, another salesperson. Negotiations were relatively painless and they were very accomidating to our needs (we dragged our 6 month old along and he was in "cranky mode"). Overall, a great experience! more

I was satisfied 8/2/2011

Patrick Datt, the sales rep, was excellent. Answered every question. Helped get me the best deal possible...and made sure I had the car I really wanted. Don Drescher, Sales Manager, was very congenial and concerned that I was happy. Tony (in the finance office) was most informative and helpful. Explained everything. I enjoyed working with each of them. Most time was spent with Patrick and, like I said, he was very thorough and intent on being sure I was satisfied. more

this is about the fifth car i have purchased from autobarn both the manager and salesman -returned phone calls in a timely manner -made sure i understood the deal -made an effort to get everything moving quickly -they were friendly and polite -i'll buy my next car from these guys more

I'd taken my VW to the Autobarn VW in Mt. Prospect, so I knew what I was getting into - a professional, no nonsense dealership that takes their customers seriously. We had a good experience buying a new Mazda3 with Thijs de Kool, who was helpful, responsive, and easy to work with. Nice facility, efficient people, and overall a good experience. Would definitely recommend. more

We had a good experience here. Eric Drew, one of the salesman, was super friendly and helpful. Apparently they have a warehouse of cars in addition to what they have on the lot, which means you have a lot of options with this dealer. I came in looking for(and bought) a pre-owned Mazda3 in good condition and they had a nice selection, all reasonably priced. more

Excellent service, friendly people. The dealership had a large selection of vehicles and many different models to choose from. They made the experience very enjoyable. The dealership was clean and had amenities to occupy our time while waiting for paperwork to be completed. more

Great and painless car buying experience. Very friendly and welcoming staff, never had any feelings of being pressured at all. My wife and I were very indecisive, they were very patient with us and helped us make an informed and wise decision. Very knowledgeable sales staff! A painless negotiation process got us the car we wanted for a great price. more

Our buying experience at the Autobarn Mazda Evanston was very good. Our salesguy, Bojan K. was very knowledgeable and gave us an excellent price for a 2011 Mazda 3 I Touring. We got the chance to drive the car with no pressure to buy. We felt welcomed at this dealership as well as treated with the utmost respect. We felt that making us satisfied was Bojan's top priority and his quality of work was superb. more

I would recommend this dealership because when we walked in, I was looking for a used 2005 Mazda6, but it wound up not being ready for sale. Lewis was there to help me through and find a new 2011 Mazda3, which wasn't exactly what I had in mind because it was missing the most important feature for my car: alloy wheels. I was about to leave and go back home, but, what made it the best experience was that if you're able to talk long enough, and show you're committed to buying a new car with these guys, they will make sure that you get what you want; they were able to put alloy wheels on the Mazda3 even though it didn't come standard on this model, and yet, they still kept the price within what we wanted. Thus, highly recommended for anyone willing to talk with the salesman. more

very pleasant to work with 6/14/2011

Lisa and Kissy were great! They were very pleasant to work with, knowledgeable and they made sure I was happy with everything. I would give them all fives if this were only a review of them. Doug, who finalized the deal and did the paperwork, was very unpleasant. He didn't explain anything to me and didn't really answer my questions. I felt that he didn't want me to be there and was pretty rude, frankly. He is the reason I can't go with all fives. Aside from dealing with him, the rest of the experience was great and I love my car! more

Ok, I have had many new car experiences. I have been to several different dealerships. I have had horrible experiences, mediocre experiences, and now I've had the best experience ever! Autobarn is definitely where I will be going from now on for all my future vehicle purchases. They went out of their way to make sure that I was happy and content every minute I was there. Everyone there seemed happy and very friendly. Kissy is absolutely the nicest car salesperson I have ever had the opportunity to work with. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy anything from Autobarn. more

The group at Autobarn are the most professional people in I have ever dealt with in any sales environment. They not only took the time to explain every detail to me (a first time car buyer) but they also treated me with a great deal of respect. This being my first time I really appreciated that respect. Also, they let me look at several cars and even took me to an offsite location where there were more vehicles for me to try out. I truly appreciated that. more

Wonderful owners 6/8/2011

I would definitely recommend the Autobarn of Evanston to ANYONE. I personally worked with Kissy-Lisa Freeman, Jon Zimmerman and Mike Allegretti. They were all extremely helpful and very apologetic for the way i was treated at there sister location in Countryside. I also left there last night with a years worth of free oil changes, ANOTHER free tank of gas and free car washes for the life of the car. Very Impressed! more

Our sales person was very friendly and helpful. We are Costco members and were utilizing their auto purchase program. George was very responsive to our initial inquiry and handled the transaction very smoothly and quickly. He was handling multiple customers, but always kept us informed as to the status of our paperwork and following up with the appropriate people. I would highly recommend him to anyone. more
