I got a very good deal 1/21/2011

I was trying to sell my 2008 Volkswagen Jetta. I got quotes from $11,000-$12,000. Which to me was very low. From this place I got a very good deal. Compared to other places in Evanston. I would recommend this place. Very friendly sales guys. more

Great service. Fast and very friendly. They were even able to talk to my warranty company so they approved a repair (and they are hard to deal with). Overall good experience. more

Everything was very smooth 12/23/2010

I had a terrible experience at a different Mazda dealer. My sister lives in Evanston and I happened to be walking past the dealership. I decided to take my car and have them check it out. Diane was so nice. She and Carl immediately identified what was wrong with the car. I had two recalls on the car and I set up an appointment to have them repaired. Diane was very helpful. When I came to get my car everything was very smooth. more

I recently bought a used vehicle from these guys, and finally a car dealership where normal people work! I found the car online, called, they answered. The car was there, they honored the internet price, didn't add any crap like other places where I tried to buy cars recently. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who wants a no hassle, low pressure, realistic buying experience. The overall process was enjoyable and my friends and family will be going there when they need cars. more

My mother in law bought a car from the Autobarn and had nothing but positive things to say about these guys.  They have an incredibly large inventory to choose from, but somehow didn't have the exact car she wanted!! They got the vehicle from another dealer, delivered it to the dealer with no addition miles from the transport and gave her a phenomenal deal.  I was also impressed that they scheduled her first service appointment and provided her with free car washes for life!!Thank you Autobarn for making her happy in what ordinarily tends to be an unpleasant experience, buying a car. more

Excellent 12/9/2010

So I walked away with a brand new Mazda 3 (98 miles) that I put 1200 down on and my car payment is $350. So far, so good. I really recommend working with Pat. He's super helpful, and it looks like he's their top salesman. He understands that once in a while, you have to give a deal away. We discussed this because I'm in sales as well. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family, and I'll recommend working with Pat as well. I don't know if another sales rep at this dealership would have been willing to get this done for me. more

Great Dealership 11/29/2010

I'd been looking for a new car for about two months. After all of my searching I finally decided to get a Mazda 3. First of all, I love my car! This is the second car I've bought personally, and I've been with friends during two other adventures in car buying. I can definitely say that these guys were the easiest to deal with. Not only did they listen to what I said and let me pick out the car I wanted (not try to force me into something that didn't make sense), but they helped me stay within my budget, and they gave me two free tanks of gas! Overall, everything was great. Their facility is really nice and it didn't feel like a typical car dealer. I was in and out, with my new car and my actual license plates, in about three hours. I would definitely recommend them and I plan on telling my friends and family about how happy I am with my new car, and the whole process at this place. more

Outstanding 11/24/2010

After the situation with my 2006 was taken care of, I needed to purchase a new car. I worked with Steve who also was helpful, friendly, and accommodating. He easily answered questions I had about the car. When I explained it would come down to "dollars and cents" and I needed to go home to think about it, I wasn't pressured. VERY MUCH APPRECIATED! Nothing makes me want to buy a car less than when I feel like I'm being forced into it. I came back the next day, worked out a great deal with Steve and the finance department and drove away in my new car. more

I have bought 3 cars from Marty and will buy many more in the future. VWs sell themselves so Marty had an easy job with me but I enjoyed talking about cars with him. Autobarn is full of car enthusiasts If you want to have a fun time buying a car and build a long lasting dealership, this is the place to go.....Oh and I can't forget to mention the free car washes!
