Very positive! 2/3/2014

The technicians from Applianceman Service were very friendly. We had a problem with our refrigerator where the part that takes the cool air from the freezer and pushes it into the main part of the fridge wasn't working. We had two other companies come out, but if we used them it was going to take much longer to get fixed and cost more. We called Applianceman, and they were able to get it fixed in a timely manner. They explained everything to us. They showed us exactly what was wrong, what the problem was. They told us how the motor should be working, and they showed us how ours wasn't doing it. They didn't just repair it and leave. They told us what we needed to know. more

Outstanding, above and beyond what I was expecting 12/31/2013

My freezer was not working and I contacted Applianceman. They told me when they would be available, and in a few days they were at my place attending to the problem. They came and emptied my freezer out and when they finished they're work they put everything back and cleaned the floor as well. I was very satisfied with their service. more

Was told they would order parts, called back 2 weeks later parts had still not been ordered. No apology or anything. Needless to say went elsewhere. more

No Communication Poor Service 11/26/2013

If you are looking for a repair man I suggest going to another company. My service tech arrived and after 5 minutes looked at me and said he had no clue whats wrong!! (This is after just looking at my dryer, nothing more) He said he had to call frigidaire to figure it out. He then walked outside got in his van and left. I never heard from him again until I called the main office - they assumed he took care of the problem. I got a call back to tell me that they still dont know whats wrong and will have to call frigidaire (I thought this was done at the last appointment) Was promised a call back and never got it. I had to call again. At this point I was told they are going to "try" a fuse. Please do yourself a favor and go with another more knowledgeable repair service. more

Honest service. 11/5/2013

Applianceman Service has been out to our home for multiple things. I feel like they have always been honest with their assessment. They have even provided me with ways I could fix the appliance myself in the future. The only time I thought maybe it could have been a simpler process was with a washing machine repair. It ended up being something that could have been diagnosed over the phone and that we shouldn't have had to pay for a service call for. Outside of that, the technicians have always been timely and honest and they've come up with a reasonable and fast solution each time they've been here. I would recommend them. more

Very condescending on phone 10/8/2013

I called to set up a service appointment on an oven and cooktop and the man who answered the phone quoted me two dollar amounts for parts and labor without explaining why. When I asked why there was two amounts he very rudely explained that it was for the two appliances and still stayed rude when I pointed out to him that he had never said that the additional charge was for the 2nd appliance. He could have explained it nicely and all would have been fine but I couldn't wait to get off the phone with him and will never use nor recommend Applianceman to anyone. I went to Angie's list instead and found a repair person that was courteous. RESPONSE FROM Applianceman Service: We are extremely sorry for the poor experience you endured when you called us. We understand that you are disappointed in the quality of service you received over the phone. Timely, professional, and knowledgeable. 9/4/2013

Applianceman Service's people are always on time. They are very knowledgeable about your appliances, specifically high-end appliances like Bosch, Sub-Zero, KitchenAid Restaurant Line, etc. The individuals who call to make your appointments are very professional, as are the repair individuals. more

We used Applianceman Service for our refrigerator and oven. They are older appliances and we did not want to replace them, so we had Applianceman repair them. The repairs went okay. They were friendly and they were good. We had used them before, so I knew that they would probably be able to do the job. more

Applianceman Service always does a great job. I have been in the area for about 24 years, and have used them for all that time. They've fixed fridges and laundry units, and haven't disappointed me. I would certainly recommend their services to people I know. more

Tacky company 7/1/2013

The technician I believe was Bill was very quite but nice and polite. he tried to et this done before he left he then told us he would have to take the air conditioner infor service like they advised him. But it would not take longer then a week it really took thirteen days exactly and this is where the joke came we called every time we called it was something different they said it would be ready. They where just going back and forth with us not being up front to top it off they told us with the most unprofessional voice we had to come pick it up because the guy was not suppose to bring it in we where the tech did not know which is crazy because they work there do business all day long and he don't know they where just jerking us around on top of it all my husband has a spinal injury and they never even once offered to help him load itin the truck nor had it on a dolly when he cam just sitting at the door never would I recommend them to any body but to mak a report to the BBB! more

Pleased with the service. 6/14/2013

Any time I call Applianceman Service, they come out right away. Generally, they are called to work on the sub-zero refrigerators and the oven, and they do great work. There is a person that has come out a few times and I have been especially pleased with - Doug. All in all, I am happy with the service I have received. more

We have them out for the complicated, expensive appliance repairs. There are so many things today that when they break you just replace them, then some more significant appliances you need to work through to fix. You need someone who knows how appliances work, they're good at that. more

Quality, kindness and exceptional staff. 4/16/2013

Steve from Applianceman Service is just brilliant. He's clever and thinks outside the box. I have an old dishwasher that is proving difficult to repair and it has been very hard to determine what is wrong with it. Steve tried several things to fix it, but right now it's still not working. He has been diligently and patiently working on it, and has not charged for his last two visits. I can't wait for it to be back and running. I highly recommend this company and their workman is a superb human being. more

Work with High-end appliances 3/20/2013

Applianceman Service provides very good service. They are one of only a few in the region which service high-end appliances (like sub-zero) and I have kept going to them for their great work. I started using them when I moved to Columbus about 6 years ago and will continue using their service. more

issue with new LG washer 3/15/2013

Responded within 1 hour of an after hours voice mail message, was at my home within 36 hours of first contact. Called ahead and arrived promptly within 30 minutes of the phone call. Was very professional, even took his shoes off at the front door! Resolved the issue quickly. Would highly recommend. more

The Appliance Man attack the problem. 12/8/2012

I called for my refrigerator to be repaired and I was really pleased with the service. The tech. that came to my house was Scott and the guy was fast and on top of things. If I have problems in the future with any of my appliances, I will definitely go back to The Appliance man and request for Scott. more

Quick and on time. 12/5/2012

They came to fix our freezer. He was going to order a whole new part but looked into it some more and figured out that it was a piece out of position. Had he not found that we would have got service we didn't need. He fixed it up and it's fine now. They were a little expensive but I would use them again because they were quick and came when they said they would. more
