This is my favorite Thai place in LA, and not just becuase I live up the street from it. The folks that run it put a lot of effort into the food, the decor, and the service. I've never been dissapointed. The Pad Thai is not too sweet and they will substitue tofu for meat on any dish. The service is usually prompt, except when they are swamped and even then it is usually good. I would recommend eating family style and ordering three or four dishes to be shared amongst a group of say, 3 people. My favorites are the pad thai (flat noodles), pad pri keeng (green beens in a mouth watering sauce with meat), and the fried eggplant dish. Parking can be tricky since it is in the cool part of Alhambra which has lots of restaurants and entertainment, but they have a free valet service.
Pros: Great Pad Pri Keeng, Inexpensive, Boba Thai Iced Tea
Cons: Parking
