I recently got my hair done at this salon, and ever since, I have been debating as to whether or not to review this salon. But here I am. And I will say this: I will NEVER come back to this salon. I am SO disappointed with the services I got and how my hair turned out. I am natural (no perm), but I mostly wear weave. I have been growing my hair out for a few years now, my hair was almost to my bra strap in the back. I came in the salon because I wanted to try wearing my own hair for a while. I went in the salon and told my stylist that I wanted a TRIM with a little color in my hair. The color came out okay, it was a little chunky in spots, but my stylist obviously did not know the meaning of the word TRIM. TRIM means between 1/4 and 1/2 inches cut. However, my stylist cut off between 3-4 inches of my hair that I had worked SO hard to grow out. My hair was now barely past my shoulders. My hair was finally getting longer and she ruined it. She went scissor crazy on my hair. I knew my hair was shorter after leaving the salon, because I did see a couple of pieces of hair fall into my lap that were at least 2.5 inches in length but I didn't even realize just HOW much she had CUT from my hair until later on when I got home and compared my hair now to pictures of my hair from Dec 2013. And I discovered she had cut 3-4 inches of hair off my entire head, especially in the back. I was in tears for DAYS after leaving the salon. I am still very angry and frustrated. I'm so dissatisfied with my hair, that I am going back to wearing weave until I can grow back out the hair that she chopped off. And not only that, she overcharged me! She added on services that I DID NOT request, but services that she took upon herself to do to my hair without asking my permission. I ended up spending nearly $200 on her ruining my hair. I feel completely taken advantage of, and I feel like my hair was destroyed. I will NEVER be back. I only have one positive thing to say: the shampoo girl/assistant is really nice. But I should have known that the salon wasn't that great because there was only ONE other customer during the few hours I was there, and I went on a day/time where I expected more people to be in there. The stylist told me if I went online and gave them a review or promotion, that I could get $10 off my next visit. Well here is my review, and you can keep your $10, because I'll never be back to your salon. I'm not usually the toe of person to complain like this, but I feel so strongly about my experience at this salon that I just can't keep my mouth shut any longer. I did not get what I requested, and I was over charged for this horrible result. Thank you for ruining my hair. more

I love Texturz! I've been going there for about six months. I've tried other salons and either didn't like the service or the atmosphere, but was very please with both at Texturz after my first visit. Michelle and her team are great- not only are they excellent stylists, but also warm, kind, friendly, and always make you feel welcomed. I absolutely love Texturz Hair Studio. The staff is warm and friendly. Michelle is wonderful and always provides advice and tips on things I should do to best manage my hair. I went to Texturz after googling it online. I just moved here from NYC and was looking for a new stylist. Michelle was very knowledgeable and gave me a great weave. Most importantly Michelle and the other stylists Ty and Josie emphasized hair care. I think that this is a great salon. especially good if you are looking to correct damaged hair or take the step from permed hair to natural. more

I went to Texturz for the first time to have individual lashes done by Karissa, the ""ilash queen"". Karissa did a wonderful job. My lashes look beautiful and natural. The atmosphere was comfortable and professional. I will return, and I highly recommended Karissa to anyone who is not satisfied with their lashes, or is in need of a new and better look. more

This salon has a very nice atmosphere. Everyone is so friendly and makes you feel welcome. Michelle is great and she cares about the healthiness of your hair. This was my first visit and I felt like I had been knowing her for years. She is very straightforward about the condition of your hair and she gives you tips on how to manage it and protect it. I would recommend Texturz to anyone. more

I have had trouble finding somewhere to get my hair done since I moved to the Atlanta area 3 years ago. I came across texturz by chance, and I pleased at what I found. The place has a very professional atmosphere, and the knowledge and experience of the staff was what I was looking for. I highly recommend anyone try texturz. I think I finally found that one place I can go back to. more

Texturz Hair Studio was perfect it was close to home, all the employees were super nice, the cost was perfect, Shalone did a wonderful job on my hair. I have been a a very happy customer since July of this year. Michelle, the owner, is very professional and maintains a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Shalone, my hair stylist, is the greatest. She always goes beyond the call of duty to ensure I am comfortable and to make sure she is providing the best hair care service for me. She don't just ""do hair"" she specializes in ""Hair Care"". Overall, I appreciate all of the staff there, they all make you feel welcome and at home. more

Texturz is a Top Notch Salon! I have been going there for over a year now and I am always exceptionally pleased. I have been getting hair weaves/extensions done by Michelle and she does a a very neat and fabulous job on my hair! She not only puts in beautiful hair weaves, but she is very concerned and puts great care into the health of my hair. My natural hair has grown significantly due to the attention that Michelle has given it and by the use of quality products such as PhytoSpecific Natural Relaxer. I had the toughest time finding a quality hair stylist once I moved to Atlanta. I have long, thick African-American/Black hair down to mid-back. Texturz has been a godsend. I initially contacted Texturz salon for a consultation and was referred to the owner Michelle. During my consultation all of my questions and concerns were answered in great detail which made me feel extremely confident that I was in the right hands! Texturz uses high-quality products and with Michelle, my hair styles last longer than ever, even with my frequent visits to the gym! Michelle is a hair stylist that cares about the SCIENCE of GROWING HAIR & the SCIENCE OF HAIR HEALTH. ALSO YOU ARE IN AND OUT OF HER CHAIR. SHE DOES NOT OVERBOOK.
