I recently got my hair done at this salon, and ever since, I have been debating as to whether or not to review this salon. But here I am. And I will say this: I will NEVER come back to this salon. I am SO disappointed with the services I got and how my hair turned out. I am natural (no perm), but I mostly wear weave. I have been growing my hair out for a few years now, my hair was almost to my bra strap in the back. I came in the salon because I wanted to try wearing my own hair for a while. I went in the salon and told my stylist that I wanted a TRIM with a little color in my hair. The color came out okay, it was a little chunky in spots, but my stylist obviously did not know the meaning of the word TRIM. TRIM means between 1/4 and 1/2 inches cut. However, my stylist cut off between 3-4 inches of my hair that I had worked SO hard to grow out. My hair was now barely past my shoulders. My hair was finally getting longer and she ruined it. She went scissor crazy on my hair. I knew my hair was shorter after leaving the salon, because I did see a couple of pieces of hair fall into my lap that were at least 2.5 inches in length but I didn't even realize just HOW much she had CUT from my hair until later on when I got home and compared my hair now to pictures of my hair from Dec 2013. And I discovered she had cut 3-4 inches of hair off my entire head, especially in the back. I was in tears for DAYS after leaving the salon. I am still very angry and frustrated. I'm so dissatisfied with my hair, that I am going back to wearing weave until I can grow back out the hair that she chopped off. And not only that, she overcharged me! She added on services that I DID NOT request, but services that she took upon herself to do to my hair without asking my permission. I ended up spending nearly $200 on her ruining my hair. I feel completely taken advantage of, and I feel like my hair was destroyed. I will NEVER be back. I only have one positive thing to say: the shampoo girl/assistant is really nice. But I should have known that the salon wasn't that great because there was only ONE other customer during the few hours I was there, and I went on a day/time where I expected more people to be in there. The stylist told me if I went online and gave them a review or promotion, that I could get $10 off my next visit. Well here is my review, and you can keep your $10, because I'll never be back to your salon. I'm not usually the toe of person to complain like this, but I feel so strongly about my experience at this salon that I just can't keep my mouth shut any longer. I did not get what I requested, and I was over charged for this horrible result. Thank you for ruining my hair.
