Great food, carryout services leaves something to be desired 1/1/2009

The food here is always delicious. And most of the time when we eat at the restaurant, the service is fine. There is always a wait on weekend evenings (30 mins or more easily) and the waiting area can get crowded. Pros: Food, really good stuff Cons: Carry-out service always forgets stuff more

This is a great place to go for a sit down meal or carry out. Everything that I have ordered is spectacular. The wait staff is extremely friendly. Steaks, chicken, burgers, and ribs are all great. I have never been disappointed with my order. They usually serve enough to have left overs to take home. The chicken fingers are great the next day!!! Excellent Ribs! 1/14/2003

Close parking, good service and we had no wait but THE FOOD IS WHERE IT'S AT. We started with the sampler appetizer and a salad, which were satisfactory and on par with other comparable establishments. However, they serve exquisite ribs. There is plenty of meat (no fat) and its cooked just right. It falls off the bone effortlessly and then melts in your mouth. The complexity of the sauce is delightful and its an excellent example of a mild sauce thats not too sweet. The only complaint I have is that the draft beer was a little too cold. I never thought Id say that, but there was a formation of ice which masked the fullness and flavor of the beer and made it taste watered down. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend it. Pros: Good parking, Friendly service, Oh..RIBS! RIBS! RIBS! Cons: Draft beer too icy. more

Yum!!! 12/19/2002

I went for the first time last week. We went to the one on John R and Twelve mile road..I was very happy with the food it was a good deal. The steak was very tasty cooked well and the salad was awsome... I can't believe some of the reviews I've read here. We had a great time and would go again anytime. I'm happy they are open for lunch on Friday's..I only wish they were open every lunch time. So try it and have some fun, peanuts on the floor and all...ENJOY!! I first found out about this steakhouse in Indiana; the wait was so long we went elsewhere. when it came to detroit we went----should of went elsewhere agin.Food was ok, however the wings were served raw in the middle, the steaks were cooked unevenly(well on one side med on the other). everything tasted too sweet(esp. rolls, bbq sauce).The reason the ribs fall off the bone as stated on the menu---is because They are cooked to death. service is ok. Great Steaks & Great Price 10/7/2002

We went to Texas Road house in CO. and I must say it was one of the best ever, yet I found The Prime resturant in the Bellagio in Las Vegas to be A1 the best. But in terms of $$$ Texas Road house was hard to beat! We ate there 3 out of the 7 days we stayed! Pros: Great Steak, Great Price, Good Portions Cons: Cant find one in MI more

Texas roadhouse has excellent service and reasonably priced food. One can have a 6oz steak and 2 sides and spend about 10$! Compared to other steakhouses of its caliber, its a far better deal and a lot less pretentious atmosphere! I highly recommend it! Struck out twice 8/16/2002

Would not recommend to anyone. I received a Texas Roadhouse giftcard for Christmas,it was my second visit.I figured I would give them another try. I had the Dallas Filet, ordered medium-rare. I received the steak well done & had to send it back. My companion ate while I waited quite awhile for my dinner. They were cooking the potato, because they ran out. I received that after the second steak came. My steak was dry & lacked flavor, my potato had to be taken home so I could bake it the rest of the way. We were not impressed either time. We had to wait forever to get seated, the country music was alful, & when we finally got seated we couldn't even have a conversation, without yelling. I have no intension of ever going back. Great food big portion even better price 7/29/2002

This is my favorite restaraunt. The food tastes great and you get a lot for your money.The only downfall is they are always crowded and you sometimes have to wait an hour to be seated but its worth it..Unfortunately they don't offer reservations..That would make the whole experience complete.I usually order carryout which works out much better.Just don't forget to ask for a side of rolls..They are the best and come with a great cinnamon butter spread.I eat there twice a week and have gotten many people hooked on the place..Overall it is excellent.
