Best Clinic 7/21/2010

I have been taking my pets to them for the past two decades. They have been reasonable, never pressured us and always provided options. We had to have our 18 year old dog euthanized , an experience we'd never had before. They handled it so well we were grateful for their compassion. They treat my dogs like their own, meaning they are caring and kind. This is a great clinic. more

Michael P and ZS 7/20/2010

ZS: Perhaps your dog was showing signs of illness long before YOU chose to seek treatment...and Michael, would you care to elaborate about Meghan.\r I have met both Doctors and they are extremely knowledgable and professional. ZS, good vet care costs $$, and it is advisable to seek treatment at the early signs of problems. You should be happy you were dealing with Drs. honest enough to tell you about your dog's condition. more

Temple City Animal Hospital ROCKS! 12/31/2009

Dr. Saberzadeh and the staff at Temple City Animal Hospital are amazing! They are honest, professional, friendly and knowledgeable. We have several special needs animals and I don't know what we would do without them. One of our cats went to 21 different vets before we found Dr. Saberzadeh and he discovered that an ear polyp was causing all her discomfort. One of our dogs also went to several vets and got no diagnosis until we found Dr. Saberzadeh. After further testing he discovered that she has cutaneous lupus. All of our furry babies are doing great now, thanks to Dr. Saberzadeh and the staff at Temple City Animal Hospital! We'll never go anywhere else! more

Temple City Animal Hospital is AMAZING 11/9/2009

I had the great opportunity to work with the staff and doctors at TCAH and I must say that from all of my experiences with animal health care providers, this hospital is the only one that has doctors with such amazing work ethics. The owners Dr. Saberzadeh and Dr. Hitch are both skillfull and very knowledgeable. They are attentive and warm. Dr. Hitch practices through her compassion and articulate nature, while Dr. Saberzadeh projects an optimistic and dedicated attitude that works amazingly well under pressure. I feel comfortable and safe knowing there are such caring professionals readily available. more

Never again. 8/18/2009

So we've been in and out of this place for the past month and a half due to an ongoing issue with our dog. At first, everyone seemed to be really caring and considerate but that has quickly changed. Every single time we take our dog in, there is something else that is wrong and more and more we have to pay for. They are quick to make us feel like we are responsible when really it's the lack of communication and things they themselves are doing wrong. I'm not happy about how any of this turned out, but the doctor "doesn't want to argue". Arrogant; and while they do seem to be affordable, there's a lack of respect there that I don't appreciate. more

cold reception 8/15/2009

the vets themselves are great....however, the receptionist Meghan is obnoxious and arrogant. And this is the first impression one receives when one enters the clinic. Perhaps a smile and some concern would be more appropriate. I would not reccomend this practice. more

Caring and Knowledgeable 3/15/2009

This is a one of a kind vets office. The vets are excellent. They provide a full range of quality care for my dogs, and they take my concerns into consideration when making treatment recommendations.\r \r The staff is friendly, helpful, and efficient. Everyone knows who we are and remembers our dogs from visit to visit. more

reformed client 2/3/2009

I had a problem with this vet but when addressed they were quick to realize their error and correct the situation. I respect that. I will continue to bring my dog to them. more

Three Caring Vets 2/1/2009

I have continued to bring my many and various pets here for almost 30 years because of the quality of care they received at this hospital. I have found that all the doctors and their staff have been very caring and compassionate. My most recent visit involved my Cocker Spaniel, Libby, who needed a cyst removed from just underneath her left ear. Dr. Hitch and her staff have kept in telephone touch with me offering advise and suggestions for her speedy recovery. A much appreciated assist when dealing with an aged and difficult dog. Most impressive has been the personal follow up interest the doctors have demonstrated. All of my concerns and questions about my pets have always been answered completely and patiently and never have I felt less than fully served. more

never call back, and when she does, she makes me feel horrible 8/25/2008

Ive been going to this hospital since its close to my home. I really dont get the impression that they are super friendly like some of reviewer have described, but everything is fine. The price is reasonable. however, I always had hard time contacting the dr on the phone.. one time that Dr. H didn't even call me back until 3 days of me constantly calling the hospital (literally, I was calling the hospital everyday and telling the staff that I need to talk to Dr. H) .. all of not-so-good experiences didnt really bother me until last week when I talked to Dr. H on the phone. she made me feel horrible for my dog. The way she talks sounds like she is criticizing me and make me look like an irresponsible person... the Dr should understand there are situations that we cannot control (ie my parents will never let my dog come inside of house ) instead of making me understand how serious my dog is sick, she makes me feel like a horrible person...I don't feel like bringing my dog to there again more

Quality care 7/28/2008

I have always received great care from the vets and staff here. The vet techs are always efficient and helpful, and often they don't charge for "extras", or they are upfront about the cost of things and don't pressure you to have expensive treatments or tests. I was also impressed with Dr. Hitch, I brought my cat in for an eye infection and she called me a couple of days later to ask and see how he was doing, that really made me feel like my pets were being cared for. I also have asked for advice over the phone and have not been charged, which is contrary to what others have experienced (in reading these reviews). more

They care so much 5/10/2008

Temple City Animal Hospital cares so much for my pets, as if they were one of their own. Every time I take my pet in for a bath or a routine exam I receive nothing but the absolute best help from the staff. They are all very nice and understanding. In addition, I never I have to wait long to see the doctor and the prices are very reasonable.\r They are great!! more

Kim 4/9/2008

I have used this hospital with our now deceased dog as well as our current dog. I have always been pretty happy with service but will no longer be returning after they nearly maimed my dog yesterday during a routine nail clipping and bath. He is in pain and has 6 nails that literally have meat sticking out of them. I am so-oo unahppy and can not understand why someone who clearly didn't know how to clip nails was allowed to continue to do so, even after she cut the first few down passed the quick. My dog is in pain and depressed and I have nothing but anger at a vet clinic that should have taken care of him... more

Great Hospital!!! 12/23/2007

I would recommend them. They are very caring people. I know that when new people come in it brings change and have been going there through it all and I think they are doing well. The doctors, especially Dr Saberzadeh have such a wonderful bedside manor. He treats my pets like they are as special to him as they are to me. I have gone there for some time with emergencies and preventive care and realize quality is not cheap but it is all worth it for the wellness of my family. more

poor staff 11/15/2007

The staff is not helpful at all and they are very slow. I had to wait a long time just to pay. There are a few young girls there that don't seem to know what they are doing. more

Great Facility and very Helpful! 10/31/2007

All of the vets, techs and staff here are very friendly and helful. Great when those emergencies come up! Our dogs have all been there and they treat them as if our dogs were their own pets! Great animal hospital! more

Good experience 8/4/2007

I have been taking my three dogs and one cat to temple city animal hospital for a little over a year. Although I have been a new client to them, I always felt welcome. I have seen Dr saberzadeh most of the the time and Dr Hitch couple of times. They are passionate and caring. Staff are always there to help and don't hesitate to answer any question. They explain the procedures in detail and spend more time with my pets than my Dr with me in exam room!. I strongly recommend this place and these doctors to whoever in search of quality care. more

It used to be... 5/30/2007

I've been taking my dogs there for 8 yrs. I used to love it. I knew everybody, and many times, they would solve a problem over the phone, saving me time and money. The business was bought out. Everybody left, but Dr. Carlson. Prices have gone up, help by phone is gone, they keep wanting you to go back in for follow-ups, and every time they charge you. keep an eye on the bill, because for a little surgery, they include microchipping and vaccination shots that have nothing to do with the surgery, but adds up in the bill. Too bad. I used to feel they care for my pets, now I feel they do.. for my wallet. more

Love this hospital! 2/25/2007

I've had to take a few of my pets in to see the vet in the past few years. Each time the staff was caring. The vets were great with my pets. They also explained all different options and let me decide what was best for my pets. Of course, quality medicine is not cheap, but I really liked that they allowed me to make the decision. I really like the way the new vets take care of my pets and would highly recommend them. more

things have changed 1/25/2007

Dr. Carlson is a wonderful veterinarian, but the practice has been purchased by new owners, whose priority seems to be profit. The positive reviews posted here are largely a reflection of the state of the facility prior to the arrival of the new owners. In addition to the fact that you will now be asked to purchase a range of things your pet may not need, the new doctors' horrendous management techniques create constant turnover among the staff, so that there seldom many staff people with any experience. The family atmosphere that was present for so many years is gone. See Dr. Carlson if you go there. And keep a hand on your wallet. more
