Tech Plus Automotive

I have gone to Tech Plus Automotive for quite a few years and they have done several different things for me over the years. Most recently, my check engine light was on so I took my vehicle in to them. They figured out what it was and took care of all the repairs and everything. It turned out that some hoses needed to be replaced. Their prices are better than going to the dealership, but they do just as good of a job as the dealership. Gary, the owner, is a personal friend of mine. we have a friendly relationship so I usually speak with him directly every time I call. He always gets me in quickly and gets me the best parts. more

Tech Plus provides excellent service for my BMW, and I'm very pleased with the service I get. I just find Gary very personable, upfront and very easy to deal with--and the car is always taken care of so well. I've been going to the shop for close to two years and I just like that they are so efficient about returning phone calls. They explain what needs to be done, and about the cost and time it takes to do the work. more

I've taken my car down to them for various reasons such as in the check light engine coming on, to having nails in my tires along with some other expensive car services. This last time I went they installed a new catalytic converter converter and provided general maintenance for my vehicle. I have been going to them for awhile and the main reason I keep going to them is they are very good mechanics and honest, which is hard to find. The staff is always polite and courteous and I have had no issues with them at all. more

Gary at Tech Plus Automotive is very knowledgeable, explained my car's problem very well and took care of me. I have an older Lexus RX 350 that had a leak in the gaskets. It was my second time going to him, and he took very good care of the problem. It was easy to make an appointment with him, and I trust that his prices are right. My Mercedes had been in an accident and Tech Plus Automotive took care of it for me. They replaced the seat rack on the right passenger side, and while they were in there I asked them if they could do some of the inspections that were due on the car. I would have had to take it to the dealership otherwise but they did that for me. They also sent me up with a rental car for the day. They were very thorough and they talked me through what was going on. Overall, everyone had great customer service. The owner, Gary, was awesome and the auto mechanics and his assistants were all very professional. The prices were lower than what I would have paid at the dealership. They were very professional overall. I felt like it wasn't a corporate business; it was more of a family-run business. They deliver a more personalized experience because they are not dealing with as much high volume. They seem to value quality over quantity and they have many repeat customers because they are delivering that level of service. I will definitely return to them! more

Tech Plus Automotive has always been able to work around my schedule, and that has been the biggest reason for me continuing to go with them. They have done a number of things including, routine maintenance, head light repair and auto body work, which was pretty in depth and they have always done a great job. No matter the job they're turn around time always is very good. They try to be as reasonable as possible with the prices and usually are pretty competitive. I have nine year old BMW and I am exceedingly pleased with everything Tech Plus Automotive have done to it. Most recently I had new brakes put in they are just top of the line type of shop to work on foreign cars. The owner is very open and explains everything perfectly they get things done on time and always have me leaving happy. I couldn't recommend them enough. more

I had a headlight fixed and a B Service done on my Mercedes and they did both jobs quickly. I was happy with the service and will be going to Tech Plus Automotive from now on instead of my dealership. Their prices are reasonable, though they did quote me a different price for one of the headlights, but I look at that as an honest mistake and they're still way better than my dealership. more

Not only did they fix my car, but they were very patient and even drove me to and from work while my car was in the shop. I really felt that Gary, the front office person at Tech Plus Automotive, was very knowledgeable about cars and service in general. We have a 2007 Mercedes that needed some work and it was great that they had a service technician who only worked on Mercedes. I felt comfortable relying on them to get several things worked on for me and I found their prices to be much better in comparison to a Mercedes dealership. I can tell that Gary and the service technician at Tech Plus Automotive are very knowledgeable about their work and am happy with the results and the quality of their workmanship. I have used Tech Plus Automotive for three years. I have used them multiple times, with multiple cars. They keep my highly expensive BMW's running properly. I have never had any issues with them or their work; they know what they are doing. They are excellent. Their prices are definitely worth the quality of their work; and they are even willing to work with me on prices. more

I have been taking my 2001 BMW 740il and 2005 Jeep Wrangler to Tech Plus Automotive for several years. They've done oil changes, replaced hoses, and many other things over the years. They take really good care of the cars and are honest about my options. Once I needed the engine in my BMW replaced or rebuilt and they told me that I could either have them do it, and it would be really expensive, or I could take it to a specialist for less. In that case I took it to the specialist, however, Tech Plus has much better prices than the dealers. They don't try to sell you a bunch of different things, which is nice because I've had other places try to do that. They look carefully at the situation and take the time to explain things to me. I usually deal with Gary. He's punctual in calling me back, never in a rush, and listens to all my questions. They are very consistent and trustworthy. more

I would rate Tech Plus Automotive above five stars if I could. I called Rob with a unique situation with my Hummer and he went above and beyond to find a solution. I first went to the dealership because my air conditioner was not working in the middle of the summer. The dealership technicians identified a problem with the resistor belt for my lower fan, but the part I needed was back ordered and they said they would not be able to make repairs. The dealer recommended I go online to search for the part myself but I do not have the expertise to know I am getting what I need. Instead, I looked around for another auto service and found Tech Plus Automotive. I called and talked with Rob about the issues I was having with the vehicle and locating the part I needed. He could not find the part at first either, but said he would go home and see what he could do in the evening. After three days of tracking down what I needed, he found a guy back back East who would refurbish the part and send it back in two or three days. The part would not be new but it was the best offer I had. I had my car back in just three days after Tech Plus Automotive removed the part from my vehicle and sent if off to be refurbished. Rob saved the day. He identified the same problem as the dealership, but he went out of his way to solve my problem in his off hours. For almost the same price as the dealership would charge, he found the part I needed on his own time and made sure my Hummer was working properly again when no one else could. No one had answers for me except for Rob and he created the solution I needed. If the technicians at Tech Plus Automotive make a promise, they will do everything in their power to make it happen. They will try to fix any and every problem you bring to them and they will give you the real story. Everyone was very honest in assessing and explaining my needs. I felt very comfortable with them because they did not try to up-sell while i was vulnerable. I refer everyone to Tech Plus Automotive now and tell them to ask for Rob. You can trust him for any job! more

It was just a very simple process with Tech Plus Automotive. They had very open communication, coordinated the rental car for me, all I had to do was drop my car off and come back when it was done. There were no surprises in the work that was done or the prices, everything was exactly as quoted. They also had a very clean lobby which is important to me. more

I took my wife's Mercedes to Tech Plus Automotive when there was a problem with the computer on the driver's side. They immediately got the tech in there, and he checked it and reset the computer. It was done in about 30 or 40 minutes! I've taken the car in for service since then, and they do a great job! more
