I searched around and read lots of reviews before selecting Taylormade Landscapes. Jamel was very professional and was personable. You could tell he isn’t in it just for the money, but yet because he loves what he does. He took the time to come out several occasions and walk our lot, discuss options, and show us drawings. Not being a native of Las Vegas, I wasn’t sure what would do good in my backyard. He gave lots of options and was able to provide impressive knowledge about all the plants. He had lots of pictures of his work and what plants looked like to make it easier for us to understand. We were able to work out a price and felt happy. The crew that showed up to our house was professional and dressed in company clothes. They all had shirts on that said what company they worked for and they always had someone that spoke English, which was big for us. We had a newborn in the house and when they were using equipment, they took the time to knock on the door and make sure it was ok with us to make loud sounds. I wish everyone was this nice. I received emailed pictures each day of the work completed, which was fun to just have. Work started on time and ended on time. Once everything was put in, Jamel walked everything and made sure we were happy with the work that was done. We had lighting, pavers, palm trees, plants, sprinklers, sod, rock, and boulders put in. We had everything installed in August. So far we have had only one issue with a tree that Jamel is taking care of in the spring. Otherwise things look great. ?????FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY!!!!????? After living in Las Vegas, I have dealt with a few different landscape companies. Luckily, I finally found Taylormade Landscapes. Other companies are notorious for not returning your calls, not following up on completed projects, etc. etc. etc. When I went with Taylormade Landscapes this time, I didn't have any of those problems at all. In fact, I was called back by Jamel (the owner) the same day. He came out the following morning and the NEXT morning at 10 a.m. there were workers taking care of my yard. The end result was affordable and truly amazing! I will definitely be back!!!! They truly went above and beyond. Thank you Taylormade Landscapes!!! more

Excellent customer service. We used Taylormade Landscapes to landscape our backyard. Jamel and his staff are great to work with. Since we are not originally from this area of the country, the watering schedule and amounts are a little different in this desert climate. The company always takes the time to assist you with irrigation adjustments, and is quick to respond to any questions. We highly reccomend Taylermade Landscapes. more

Of three local Las Vegas landscaping companies (all well qualified) I requested for bids on my backyard, Taylormade Landscapes was the only firm to provide detailed drawings of the landscaping plan. They were very responsive to my questions and explained the thought behind the design and materials and provided pictures of all the plants and materials to be used. Their estimate was right in line with the other two bidding companies and based on their drawing and responsiveness I selected them for the job. Once the start date for construction was set their performance was excellent. They came and did a very professional landscaping job and the entire process was smooth from start to finish. The completed backyard looks outstanding, actually picture perfect, and I give Taylormade Landscapes 5 gold stars as I am so pleased with how my new backyard looks and for delivering beyond my expectations! more

The best thing is I received a rebate from the water district for removing my grass and Jamel took care of all the paper work. We had Jamel Taylor and his crew re-landscape our backyard. Trees, bushes and rocks were removed and synthetic turf was added. The crew knew exactly what they were doing, were always on time, were very professional, and the job was completed to our specifications and on time. Even though we had a contract, I believe this job could have been completed by handshake only. I found Jamel to be very honest and upfront and explained everything that was to be done and how it was to be done. I highly recommend Taylormade landscape to anyone who wants a quality landscape at a reasonable price, professionally done and finished on time. more

We HIGHLY recommend Taylormade Landscaping. Found them online and quickly noticed they had 5 stars on all reviews which was very impressive!! Called and explained we have 15 year old landscape that needs a professional touch and our rocks need replenishing. Jamel, the owner, came out and didn't rush, but instead listened to what we wanted and gave us his expertise. He had to look around for rock to match our front yard and did a good job!! Our back wall was 75% covered with Cats Claw and had grown into neighbors' palm trees. We wanted it removed and knew it was a huge job, but his crew of 5 carefully removed it without damaging the other plants or water lines. It was a 2 day job; done efficiently and professionally. Our front and back yard look much better. Our neighbors have commented how nice it looks. It's obvious to us that Jamel (the owner) has a passion for landscaping and respects his clients and their property. Next year we know who to call to redesign our courtyard. Whatever it costs; it's worth it!!! more

I ususal do not write reviews but Taylormade Landscape is worth mentioning. Jamel was always available to take my calls and responded to many emails too. I had no idea what i wanted for my backyard, I just had two requirements, kid friendly and low maintenance. Jamel came up with the perfect landscape and more. Very kid friendly and low maintenance, the right amount of plants and trees which turned my plain, very boring yard into a versatile outdoor living space. And best of all, he stayed within my budget!!! I can't say enough about Jamel and his team. They are all very professional and get the job done. I've even had his team come back and ""tidy-up"" my front yard. They did an excellent job!!! more

Couldn't be happier with our new yard! I?m not usually one to write reviews, but we had the best experience with Taylormade landscapes, so I hope others can benefit from this. We thought we had a good idea what we wanted for our yard, but Jamel from Taylormade really was able to make it even more beautiful than we imagined. He has a knack for aesthetics and created a beautiful design for our backyard through use of borders, a variety of plants, and different sizes of rock for texture. He seems to really know his stuff, and we were very happy with all the trees and plants he suggested we use. The employees worked so hard and fast. I was in awe of how quickly they pulled almost an entire yard of 4-ft. weeds - a job that would have taken us multiple Saturdays for sure. They were so professional, and we couldn?t be happier with our gorgeous new landscaping!!! I will recommend Taylormade to all my friends in Vegas. more

I'm a smart girl inside the office... but OUTSIDE, well, let's just say it's IMPORTANT to me that I have contractors who will be HONEST, FAIR, dependable and REAL! Can't tell you how many times I've had contractors try to nickel and dime for every little frivolous charge, use words of their industry that go way beyond my basic knowledge, over complicate simple things and take advantage of young, female, multiple property owner. It can be VERY frustrating. THANK GOODNESS for Jamel and crew! No fluff, no hassle, no over inflated prices? just the real-deal with cost effective options to accomplish the look and feel I want. Why can?t it always be this easy? Taylormade has both landscaped and maintenance my home and rental property for more than 5 years. Most appreciated is there: *Quick response time of questions, concerns, unexpected LEAK emergencies *Keeping my irrigation timer on schedule (I would never know what schedule I?m supposed to be on ? they handle all that for me)? *In the winter they wrap my pipes when it never even crosses my mind *They care about the attention to detail. *Always reasonable in cost. DIRT TO OASIS: Being from California and missing the greenery, it was difficult for me to explain the ?feel? of what I wanted, but thought I couldn?t have while living in Vegas. The owner of Taylormade stood with me in backyard (on my huge lot of DIRT), asking the right questions, brainstorming with me & painting a picture of what I could see in my mind, but was unable to put into words. We recently purchased a home, and needed to re-landscape our backyard. Being first time homeowners we were unsure on what to do. I'm always concerned when hiring a contractor, however Jamel did an outstanding job with what I thought was an impossible yard. He was very professional, knew what he was talking about, and came up with a wonderful design. Jamel and his crew were outstanding while creating our lanscape in our huge backyard. We waited 3 years to finally pursue the project and it was important to us to find the right person for the job and money being spent. We are so glad we waited after getting many quotes. His design and ideas were right on. We eventually changed almost every plant and tree selected and he was able to accomodate that without being offended at our selections and offering helpful suggestions. He even went to a supplier for us that he normally wasnt contracted with. more

Jamel Taylor, the owner, is very knowledgeable in all aspects of landscaping. He always called before arrival to meet with us and arrived on time. At our first meeting, he asked for our wish list and anything we didn't want. He then came up with different suggestions/recommendations that would also compliment the adjoining neighbors landscapes. The next meeting he came prepared with a complete proposal including a drawing and pictures of plants he recommended plus a cost breakdown of each phase of the work to be done - not just a bottom line figure. Jamel never trivialized any concerns we had. The crew always arrived on time and went right to work. The same crew worked the entire job. Three of my neighbors have commented on how quickly the whole job was completed and the impressive final result. more

These guys are great! We were referred to Taylormade Landscapes, LLC from our last landscapers who didn't service our area anymore. Boy are grateful for it! I have 3 houses and Taylormade Landscapes does an amazing job on all of them. We are very picky and they are very professional no matter what our crazy requests are. They do it! Hard to find a landscaping company who understands the importance of customer service. If you are looking for an amazing landscaper, call them! They will treat you great. more

Taylormade Landscapes was referred to us by a family member who had previously used them. We needed our front yard landscaped so we gave them a call. Jamel Taylor came to our house and went over what we wanted and to view and map out our front yard. He then returned within the week with a detailed proposal and itemized cost list. We loved his ideas so after our approval we were scheduled and all work was done in a very timely and professional manner. We were impressed. The project turned out beautifully and we were very pleased. Taylormade Landscapes services were excellent and the price was great. We would definitely recommend them. more
