Very disappointed 5/25/2012

I love love me some pizza! Frozen, fresh it doesn't matter but we stopped at Tat's last week and it was sooo not good! For me to be disappointed in a pizza is almost unheard of! But the crust was very carboard tasting with no flavoring to it at all and it was very very white looking. It tasted like maybe it had been in the freezer to long. But very little sauce on the pizza, the toppings were all meh tasting with again, no spice or italian taste to it at all. more

Hard to find good help these days. 3/14/2011

I live out of town and was REALLY craving tat's, so I called while I was driving in town to order and the obviously young sounding girl brushed me off (I asked if there was a spaghetti/salad combo) and she interrupted me and said, "no" and hung up on me. It seems like the last couple of times I have went in there have been young teenage girls that are very unprofessional and obviously have not been trained. I decided to have Panda Express instead. I'll probably meet some friends at Adornettos this evening. Foods similar, maybe even slightly better and the staff is always, always professional and friendly. more

i can clear up everything. The Tatman family built the pizza shop in 1978. They have owned it the entire time under both names. They had an agreement go use the name Adornettos for 25 years but that agreement expired. They make their pizza dough fresh every day and have only run out once in the last fifteen years. That will happen when things are made fresh. Forecasting isn't an exact science. They get their sandwich buns from Nickles bakery. more

I live in South Zanesville after years of living in North Zanesville and eating Adornettos...I am so disappointed in Tats. On multiple occassions, Tats has "ran out of pizza"! Really? At 8pm you run out of pizza? They often take their phone off of the hook when they are experiencing their many problems...not very professional. Inclement weather coming = MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EXTRA PIZZA CRUSTS(b/c they're pre-made!)!!! Not that hard people! In less than 2 months, Tat's has run "out of pizza"...and they don't even offer any specials to accommodate customers!! Lame.\r \r I must be confused. I thought this restaurant was called "Tat's PIZZERIA!!!!!!!!!!" more

Would like to clarify something? 1/25/2009

Tats and Adronettos are not owned by the same person. I worked at Tats in high school about 15 years ago (Adronettos South at that time). Tats is owned by John Tatman and ran by his two sons, Bob and John for atleast 15 or so years now. There are some big differences, like the Pepperoni at Adronettos is cut from a log and at Tats it is completely different shipped it. Adronettos bake their oun bread were Tats uses someone different to supply it. Been eating at Tats for 15 years going strong and yes it is better. If there are anymore questions about who owns Tats just stop in have a great dinner and ask John or Bob. more

Great Pizza 12/25/2008

I would like to clarify something for the person that wrote Tat's is better than Adornetto's. Acutally, both restaurants are owned by the same owner - in fact, it's the VERY SAME pizza. They both used to be called Adornettos, but it caused so much confusion that they renamed the S-Zville location Tats. I hope this clarifies any misunderstandings. more

Tat's is by far one of my favorite places to eat. The pizza is wonderful and the salads are great as well. My friends and I meet up here every chance we get. more

Tats Pizzeria - The best pizza in Zanesville. 6/1/2005

Tats is without a doubt the best italian style restaurant in Zanesville. Yes, they're better than Adornettos. Family owned, Tats offers a beautiful dining area that makes everyone in the restaurant feel comfortable and relaxed. Along with the friendly service, affordable food, and food cooked to perfection, Tats is the place to go if you're looking for a pizza or a plate of spaghetti. more
