the waitress was high on pills kept giving me the wrong orders by the time I got my food it was over cooked I just gave up the beer was warm and the soda was flat My wife said the bathroom were dirty and smelled more

the staff are on pills and not interested in the customers being treated with respect. the bathrooms were used to many times to dispose the food that the customers just ate more

Really, you can't go wrong with Tarks. Simple, well done, basic stuff: Fried seafood, steamed crab, fresh oysters, and a kick ass grouper sandwich. The menu hasn't changed in fifty years. No really, they are literally the same menus! WEll maybe not, but the certainly feel like it. The place doesn't do much to keep up it 's decor or ambiance, they really don't care. They care about fresh fast food, and cooks who have lived some wild lives. All makes for an amazing feast. Go. Trust me. go. And don't bother to get out of your pjs, no one will care. more

The food is great, the cooks are a riot, the waitress is beautiful and sweet, i love going into Tarks. If you like buffalo shrimp and garlic shrimp ask them to make you a mix plate with curly fries on the side. Finger Lickin good. more

OMG - if you are a snob don't come, if u love fresh fish at a great price served with a smile this is it. Be prepared for it to be busy but with great food and prices what do u expect more

I order a Burger and Alligator. I almost vomited, i think they served me rotten iguana, the burger was ok at best. when i got home i didn't leave the toilet for 2 hours, i though i was gonna set a record....ovoid this place and the service is horrible, maybe is because im not a local. more

Good food at a good price. Well, most of the time the food is actually much better than good. At these prices, you can't expect top notch service but you have to know how to "fit in" here. Be respectful of the staff, understand that most of the time they are very busy and probably not particularly well paid and you won't have a problem.\r \r My favorites: wings, raw clams, chowders, happy hour beer. The wings are really really good. Whenever I'm in the area, first thing I do is call and find out what the daily specials are and plan my visits around the wings and raw clams. more

Since 1966 this place has been a fixture in Dania Beach. I started with a conch salad to share. It's spicy and served fresh on a bed of lettuce and tomatoes. I had the blackened mahi-mahi sandwich. After scraping off the half inch of chopped garlic, the fish itself was delicious. It is served with fries which were good, but greasy. They offer wine and beer and most of the seating is at the counter, except outside, where there are four tables. Overall, good, quick, friendly service! more

All I can say is Tarks. Lenny is a landmark and the food is incredible. What a dive but me and my family have been going there for 20 years. I recommend the wings and the raw clams. I don't leave this area without a few visits to Tarks more

My family and I have been going to Tarks for years and we have never had a bad experience, the atmosphere is always fun, the service is ussually fast and always friendly and the atmosphere might be bland but fun. The food is great too. The buffalo shrimp and clam strips are a must! Tarks is an old fun place and it's always entertaining when we go. You might get an occasional silly drunk but that makes it even more fun:). A must try place!! more

i wanted to change something in my order one minute after i had ordered it and the order taker didnt want to. she seemed like i was inconveniencing her. i ordered the wings and the clam chowder. the wings were big but way too greasy. as for the clam chowder, i never received it. i never received an explanation or apology from anyone. then, she didnt want to seperate our orders because she already had put it all in one check. last but not least, i had to literally run to my bathroom after eating the wings. more
