Tara's Florist

So I was in Australia when I found out about the death of a friends mom... at 435 PM on the day of the visitation... The florist who answered my call took the time to locate the funeral home and find out details for me as well as getting an arrangement over that night in time for the visitation. I was so grateful! Especially since it sounded like they were busy and most other places had already closed - but she still took the time to do what she could and came through! Thanks! more

I dont usually take the time to write reviews about places, but I happened to stop in Tara's Florist on Nolensville Rd to order a Grandparents day gift and I was pleasantly suprised! The staff was so kind and helpful. They greeted me as I came in and asked to help me, but I wasnt sure what to send as a Grandparents day gift, so they helped me pick out the perfect item & they are going to deliver it for me. It was quick & easy!\r While I was there, another lady stopped in to buy some flowers for a friend. The staff helped her pick out the most sophisticated little floral arrangement! It had a square black vase with gorgeous yellow lillies and greenery and berries, it was beautiful! They even packed newspaper around the arrangement and placed it in a box so the lady could transport it easily. Wasnt that nice? \r While I was paying for my gift I noticed they had some traditional flowers in the cooler as well as some eclectic arrangements that really caught my eye. The next event or holiday that comes up, I am going to Tara's and let them help me. I only wish I had known about them before my wedding!!! Pros: Friendly & Helpful employees, Great products more

I received an arrangement for Valentines Day that had been order over the phone by my fiance to start I was told by the sender that part of what she had ordered I had not received (Stuffed bear and balloon) When I call them that same afternoon the girl that I spoke with said they there at the shop and that it must have been over looked at time of the order was sent out to me and she would send it out to me the next day, but by noon they where not here! when I called back I got some one who said she was the manager and told me that I had received all that was order and paid for and she did not care what my fiance said she did not see them there but she could not tell me why it was when I call the same day of the deliver I was told that they had forgot to send them out, also by this time I also had noted that the arrangement was looking Bad it was only 24hr old but wilted. I was quite dissatisfied with the quality and the why that she talked to we was just as she said ?I DO NOT CARE ?Then she told me there was nothing she was going to do about it and that I needed to call Telaflorist to get them to fix this in the time that I spoke with her she must have said ?I do not care at leas five times. I would discourage anyone from using this florist because as I said she did not care!!! Pros: That I never have to use them again Cons: Only 24hr old but wilted, she did not care!!! more

Thank you, Tara's. I have now been able to redeem myself. The amazing floral design you created for me saved my marriage. :). Seriously, my wife was so pleased and surprised with the 'just because I love you' flowers I gave her. You listened to what I wanted, and the arrangement was spectacular. more

I enjoyed receiving a lovely table arrangement from Tara's. The flowers made a wonderful focal point for my table. more

The flowers were a lovely assortment. My objection is that a few were limp. Also they were jammed so tightly into the vase. A lot of the leaves were left on below the water level which usually causes musky a smell. I would have removed some of them myself, but they were packed too tightly to remove from the vase. It will be difficult to change the water also. But I must say this much, not knowing the price, they had some unusual and colorful flowers. more

I received a dozen roses from them today and was quite dissatisfied with the quality, so I called to voice my concerns. I spoke with the manager, Connie, who made every excuse imaginable (from the temperature outside to the ""cheap"" sender) then told me there was nothing she could do about it. That does not sit well with me, especially considering the incredible market up on fresh flowers. I would discourage anyone from using this florist!!! Cons: old roses, brown petals, very short stems more

When the delivery man brought my flowers he just laid them on the desk and walked away. The roses were brown and wilted. They were also supposed to be in a vase, and they were not. I do not recommend this florist. more
