Excellent Haircut 7/20/2011

I discovered the Salon through my sister and my sister-in-law. For many years I have looked for someone that would really listen to how I wanted my haircut. Tara listened, took her time and I got a great haircut. I am very pleased to find someone that really knows what she is doing with my hair. more

Wine & style girls night 7/19/2011

I went with 5 girlfriends for a wine & style night and it was fabulous! I loved the decor of the salon, very urban for suburban Johns Creek. Tara and her staff were friendly, knowledgeable and fun. I have found my new salon. :) more

Awesome North GA Salon 7/13/2011

I recently just moved here from Iowa and I had problems finding a salon and had went to two others before I went to Tara Burroughs Salon and I loved the color:) I thought Whitney did a great job with my hair and I highly recommend her to anyone! I thought the place was clean and they were very respectful and made me very welcome and comfortable! I will be going back there from now on! more

Finally Satisfied 6/28/2011

For years I've gone to different salons in the North Georgia Area, all to the same result, leaving a salon with a feeling of disappointment. This time however I left the salon smiling, and couldn't wait to show my new hairstyle to everyone. I thought Whitney was lovely, she made me feel comfortable and did exactly what I had wanted. I feel beautiful every time I look in the mirror, and being a new mom, I can't thank Whitney enough! more

For years I've always had long hair. Wanted a change but was concerned having short curly hair. Whitney made me happy with the change. Next time I'm willing to go even shorter. more

Love this Salon!!! 6/8/2011

Just recently moved to the area and I'd neglected my hair for too many years. Because I just hadn't found anyone that seemed to get it right!! I got a new job and really needed help in finding something that would be easy for me to replicate and still look professional.\r Thank goodness I found Tara Burroughs Salon. Tara really took the time to listen to me and I decided to take her suggestions for a new cut and color...\r WOW I'm so happy I did!!!! I Love my new look. I can actually almost recreate it and that's a first!!\r I will certainly be back.\r more

Best color and cut in years! 6/8/2011

My hair looked unhealthy from being processed so much. It had not had a healthy look in years. Having very fine hair makes it difficult to find someone who can style it. I walked into the salon with lots of doubts about the improvements that could be made. Wow! For the first time in years, my hair actually feels and looks healthy. I asked Tara to select a color for me, and it is perfect. The cut is the best I have had in many years. I have gotten tons of compliments. I feel so lucky to have found Tara. I will be making all of my hair appointments with her! more

Great Salon Experience 4/12/2011

Tried Tara Burroughs Salon for the first time last week and loved it!\r We were getting ready to head out of town for Spring Break when I decided that I HAD to get a haircut before we left. I dropped in the salon with no appointment (yikes!)...but no one batted an eye Eveyone was very friendly and helpful. I was lucky enough to catch Whitney with some open time. She gave me a great new cut that I just love! I will definitely be back! more

Fantastic hair salon 3/31/2011

I was thrilled with my experience at this salon. New to town, I selected this salon cold because my previous hairdresser had recommended using an exclusive Bumble and Bumble salon.\r \r I saw Tara. She listened to everything I wanted and was careful to make sure she understood what I was requesting. She then proceeded to give me exactly the cut I wanted. I really appreciated her calm sureness.\r \r I can't wait for my next cut. I highly recomend Tara to anyone! more

Great, relaxing atmosphere 2/22/2011

Relaxing vibe to the whole salon - you'll immediately feel it when you walk through the door. After arriving, I was asked if I wanted any bottled water, coffee, tea, etc. Salon went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and relaxed. Whitney was the stylist that cut my hair. Did a good job. Worth the value with no less the swank. more

Great Salon 2/21/2011

I was referred to Tara by my sister and several friends. My sister started going to Tara about a year ago and her hair has never looked better. I have been driving down to Buckhead to the same hair dresser for 12 years and was very nervous about making the switch. I sat in Tara's chair and her calm, professional manner made me feel very comfortable. She took her time talking to me about what I wanted and providing her opinion. I am very happy with my color and received a fantastic hair cut. more

""I Like this Place"" 2/15/2011

I walked into this place to have a quick hair wash and a haircut. I had to be back at work in less than an hours time. I was directed to a room where I could change my clothes, they even asked me for a drink!! (Never seen this types of service in any other place).\r I was then greeted by Whitney the stylist, she was very calm and did a great job in undersatnding what I needed, including the fact, I needed to get out of there pronto.\r Whitney was nice, I liked that she gave me a good hairstyle and also made sure it was done on time.\r I love the place for it's minimilistic approach. Next time I'll relax have a drink and enjoy their service. more

This Salon is Awesome 1/21/2011

I have been going to this salon since they opened in Johns Creek. Whitney does my hair and has always done an outstanding job. I just went from below chin cut to over the ears and she followed the picture I brought in EXACTLY. I love her, Tara and the entire staff. You are always welcomed, treated royally and the shampoo lady has the best head massage. I've found my hair salon. Try it! more

LOVE! 10/6/2010

Although I had always heard positive things about this salon I was hesitant to try it out because I am extremely particular about my hair. Upon my first visit, I was given great service in a timely manner too! It was the quickest I had ever been in and out of a salon and I absolutely loved the results. The color was exactly what I wanted, my stylist really understood me. I plan on going here from here on out. For such a great quality, the prices were extremely reasonable as well. These sell Bumble and Bumble products too which are absolutely amazing!! more

Atlanta's best Kept Secret 11/7/2009

I have been a client of Tara's for 16 years, and look forward to another 16 years. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants sharp, professional and flawless service. What I love most about Tara's salon apart from its swanky interior and kind staff, is that it offers a very private and exclusive feeling. I don't favor large, over hyped, over staffed salons because of all the drama and lack of personal attention. At Tara's salon, service is very warm, individualized. If you ask her for an opinion on a style, she will be honest with you. Her recommendations and advice reflects a very knowledgeable, elegant, and distinguished taste. I have been going to Tara for years and completely trust her with my hair. She always makes sure that I am happy with the color and tweaks it as necessary. She is interested in what the client wants. I have been a client of Tara's for seven years now and have followed her from Buckhead to Midtown and now she has moved to my neighborhood! I'm very excited that Tara Burroughs Salon is now in my neck of the woods. She is the only cut/colorist in this competitive metropolis that is consistently great EVERYTIME I go get my hair done.
