The reason for trying Tara Burrough's Salon was because of the convenient location and I must say I am very happy for doing so. The salons ambiance is warm, friendly, and most importantly, very clean. So far Tara has been able to style my hair as requested during my first visit and will continue to go back . . more

Wanted to try some place different and was impressed with all the positive reviews of hair stylist Whitney. I gave her a try and was I ever happy I did! She gave a great cut and was a very good listener as to what I wanted. Will go back to her again! more

Haircut 11/11/2011

I went there for Hair cut & color. Hair cut was nice by stylist. Color was not good brand ( i am thinking) & not get in to my grey hair at all. She did Shampoo, bad work. the color was left on my forehead for 4 days. I was not happy with coloring the hair. I will recommend for Hair cut. more

Love Tara Burroughs Salon and my first visit!! 11/2/2011

I love the cut I got at Tara's... and Tara did it herself. She is definitely an artist. I felt like I was a sculpture when she would step back and look at at her work! Tara goes for perfection and I have had so many compliments on her work.\r \r Her salon is very inviting and friendly. Everything is open and comfortable too! I made an appointment online and received my confirmation email timely. \r \r Tara listened to what I wanted and made suggestions for some color next time...which was exactly what I was thinking about! I'm looking forward to my next visit! You should go see her too!\r more

Tara Burroughs Salon - first time visit a pleasure 10/30/2011

Tara and staff were friendly and very accommodating. Tara took the time to listen to my needs--- giving suggestions and professional advice instead of just going in and cutting. My hair cut lasted a long time, which is key when you are trying to grow it out AND maintain some sort of style in the process. The salon atmosphere is unique. I was impressed by running video of style icons, like Vidal Sassoon. Sort of an opportunity to learn something while getting a shampoo vs. being killed with teeny-bopper music. Definitely going back! more

Great Salon!! 10/17/2011

This is a beautiful salon, and the girls there were wonderful! No snotty witches here! Whitney cut and colored my hair, and did exactly what I asked for. As you may know, that is rare in the salon world...at least in my experience. They were all really nice, helpful and fun to chat with while I was getting my cut and color. I had a 50% off coupon for a first time customer, so it was really inexpensive, but had I not, it still would have been more affordable than anywhere else I've been, and I have long hair! I love Tara Boroughs Salon, and will be back soon! more

Better than my old Aveda Salon! 10/11/2011

When I moved to Johns Creek, I had to find a new salon. I looked at the Aveda salons in the area, but I found them to be pricey and rather unfriendly. I ran across Tara Burroughs Salon after looking at Bumble and Bumble's website. I called and easily got an appointment with Whitney. I have to say color me impressed. Everyone was extremely nice, the salon is modern, and quite peaceful even considering it was a Saturday when I went! But what really makes them stand out was the fantastic cut I got from Whitney. Usually, I get unhappy with my cut right when it is time for me to go back. I find that my hair becomes less manageable and doesn't look as good. However, with Whitney's cut I have gone past my normal ""recut time"" and it still looks great. Amazing talent! I can't recommend them enough. more

Such a cozy salon with a very modern edge. Very friendly staff and catered to me as the customer making sure I was happy. The pricing for their services offered was very reasonable, especially for the quality of the hair that they do. Would, and have recommended this salon to friends! Wonderful Haircut! 9/26/2011

I went to Tara Boroughs on the suggestion of my mom and couldn't believe the haircut and highlights I received for half the price of the salon I used to go to in Midtown. I loved Whitney and she did a fantastic job! This is my new salon and I'll totally make the drive up to John's Creek for her! more

Quality Hair Cut for a great price!! 9/21/2011

I used to live in New York, where I went to the best and most expensive hair salons. I always seemed to spend a lot of money, which did not make my husband very happy. \r \r When we moved to Atlanta, I was traveling from Johns Creek to Buckhead, as I thought the best salons were there. A friend told me about Tara Burroughs Salon. I thought I would give it a shot. I was AMAZED at the quality cut and color I received, for literally half the price of the salon in Buckhead. Who knew such a fine salon was so close.\r \r I HIGHLY recommend Tara Burroughs. It has the same atmosphere as a Buckhead salon and it carries Bumble & Bumble products. \r \r I have received so many compliments on my color and cut! I found my new salon! more

I have been looking for a good hair stylist for a while, probably went to about 5 before I found Tara Burroughs. They met my needs and gave me a great haircut! One thing I loved as that they actually care about what you want, and don't just brush it off like 'oh, it's not my hair'. They listened, and gave a great haircut! Very good salon and atmosphere, I definitely reccomend it! more

Great for the whole family 9/3/2011

I recently moved to the Johns Creek area and needed a salon. I checked the reviews online and Tara Burroughs had great reviews so I gave it a try. In fact, my whole family decided to give it a try. My wife went to Tara and my kids and I went to Whitney. We were all very pleased and will continue to use this salon. I thought I should return the favor of good reviews steering me in the right direction by posting my experience also. Definitely go, they are great no matter what your needs are - adult, teen, or younger - if you're looking for an appropriate style they've got you covered. more

Great Experience 8/31/2011

Being a guy, there's not much to getting my hair cut, but I look for good service and good value with any service provider. I frequented another salon around the corner from Tara's for several years and the increasing turnover of stylists was too much to handle. My wife had recently been to Tara's and had a great experience, so I decided to try it myself and was impressed. The salon had a calm modern feel and the employees were friendly. Whitney has an easy-going personality and listened to what I wanted. The prices are reasonable as well, making for a great value. I would definitely recommend it and will be going back myself. more

Greatest haircut I've ever recieved! 8/26/2011

I was a bit skeptical about this salon at first... but since my old stylist had moved, I had to to look for a new salon. I went in and from the first moment I stepped in all I got was wonderful customer service and a really great attitude. We had great conversations while I was getting my hair done, and it looked absolutely perfect afterwards. I will not be going anywhere else. more

There are lots of stylists out there, lots...some good, some bad. I found Whitney to be very good and very capable of cutting my hair. When you move it is always a challenge to find a really good hair stylist. I'd definitely recommend Whitney and Tara Burroughs Salon to others. more

You will not be disappointed! 8/4/2011

Brand new to Johns Creek GA area, in fact, Georgia too! I really needed a hair cut, my husband found Tara's Salon. She cut my hair. My husband, son and daughter's hair was cut by Whitney. Whitney was very good but Tara was superb. You know how sometimes the stylist just dont blow dry your hair to your expectations...not Tara she did everything right and it was also a warm and inviting salon. I am definitely going back! more
