I had driven past this restaurant several times, staring at the sign stating ""Home made"" and thinking about how nice it would be to have home made Mexican food without all the dishes. All I will say is this, nothing I had here was home made, fresh, or even prepared correctly. The chips were stale and I actually knew the brand name. The salsa was just onion water with flecks of red in it. The tortilla used to make my burrito was just as stale as the chips, and, again, I was able to pin point the brand name. The rice inside was not cooked, and took up more than 95% of the inside of the burrito. What little filling there was in there was actually cold and pretty greasy with no flavor to speak of. Now, I realize that there are some who might say I might have been a jerk to the staff or it was my one and only visit, but I am always nice to the staff (being a professional chef and former server, I know how hard their jobs are) and I suffered through three visits before writing this. The front of the house staff are all very friendly and always smiling, but that is the only plus I can give. \r

I grew up eating and cooking authentic Mexican food from scratch, and my first job was in an establishment that used the exact same premade items I listed above. Now, it is no sin to use premade chips and tortillas, but if you claim that your food is ""homemade"" it better be true. Lying about this is inexcusable, and unethical. \r
