Tailwaggers Pet Chateau

this place rocks!\r They really love my animals (2 cats and a dog). My cats have come back from other places not very happy. At Tailwaggers, they love coming here. The people are so nice, and they remember my animals names. One Christmas, 2 years ago, our flight was delayed and they kept the animals until the next morning and didn't even charge us for the last day. more

I have been taking my Shih Tzus (long hair and hard to groom well) to Tailwagger's for about 7 years. Kitty, the owner, is fantastic! Always helpful, courteous and very, very kind to my pets. The groomer is top notch, too. She listens to our requests and executes the grooming very well. I have had visiting relatives bring their pet when they visit and Tailwagger's have been most helpful in accomodating their pooch with grooming needs. Not inexpensive, but worth every penny. I would recommend Kitty and her staff of professionals to anyone. The lobby is small but comfortable. Parking is easy and my dogs don't really care if the building is new or not, they are always happy to visit Tailwagger's. Tailwagger's has been an established businness for may years which is hard to do considering the many kennels and grooming facilities in the area. Clearly, they do it right! more

I looked in the yellow pages for a groomer for my dog, and found the "Pet Chateau". It sounded nice. I was so wrong. The place is a shack! The people are unfriendly and mean to animals. They did not follow my instructions about grooming my dog. I was letting her hair grow out and they cut it ALL off. I didn't even recognize my own dog. To top off everything, they cut my dog not once but TWICE! I heard my dog crying in the back with the groomer, while the groomer yelled at her. I guess the groomer didn't realize that I was in the front lobby waiting. I tried to speak to the owner about the yelling and cuts, but she had no sympathy. She didn't even give me my money back (or even partially back), even though they groomed my dog incorrectly and hurt her. Do NOT take your animal there!!! more
