TRI SPORTS, Triangle Sports Social Club

When I moved back to the area from NYC, I dreaded having to go through the process of rebuilding my social life. I joined TRI SPORTS and within a few weeks I had more things to do every night than I had time for! The trips to Spain and Savannah were amazing. The sports leagues keep me in shape. Tri-Sports offers people a chance to play sports post-college and enjoy meeting new people at the same time. People who are not highly competitive can enjoy themselves as well. The organization also does a good job offering social activities. Particpants are friendly and staff is easy to deal with as well as very responsive. Try it, you won't regret your decision. The Triangle Sports and Social Club is an excellent organization with a wide range of different activities. I joined ~1 yr. ago after moving to the area from out-of-state. Participation in the club helped me quickly build a social network here in Raleigh. It's got something for everyone. A wide variety of sports that are competitive enough to be fun, but which welcome beginners or novice athletes as well. Group trips to places like Myrtle Beach, white water rafting in W. Virginia, etc. Monthly parties provide a fun environment where members get a chance to socialize and get to know one another at local Raleigh bars or clubs. I've been doing Triangle Sports and Social Club activities for about 6 months now, and I'm really happy with how great its been. Everyone is fun, and very friendly. When I first started, I just showed up to a monthly party, not knowing anyone, and by the end of the night I must have made, like, a hundred new friends; and it seems like every party since, Ive made 50 more friends. Ive also done a few of the trips, and those are a really good time-these people do take their fun seriously! Havent tried their sports leagues, yet, but theres so much to do, even if you dont play sports. Overall, everything they do is a good time and affordable. Theres just so many people involved, and Ive made some really good friends; I cant imagine being in Raleigh without this club. Pros: good people, friendly, not just sports Cons: i'll let u know more

What a great concept! My work just transferred me to Raleigh and I was preparing myself to go through all the difficulties of making new friends in a city where I didn't know anybody. I came across Tri Sports Social Club on the Internet, and decided to give it a try. Within two weeks of moving here, I'm on 2 co-ed sports teams, going white water rafting and going to parties. I'm not all that athletic, but the people have all been really welcoming and friendly. I wish there was a club like this in every city! Pros: fun, friendly, good value Cons: Budget trips, understaffed at times more
