What a great concept! My work just transferred me to Raleigh and I was preparing myself to go through all the difficulties of making new friends in a city where I didn't know anybody. I came across Tri Sports Social Club on the Internet, and decided to give it a try. Within two weeks of moving here, I'm on 2 co-ed sports teams, going white water rafting and going to parties. I'm not all that athletic, but the people have all been really welcoming and friendly. I wish there was a club like this in every city!
Pros: fun, friendly, good value
Cons: Budget trips, understaffed at times
