I worked for swezey for 4 years. After spending 20 years in the industry and being a part of my own family owned company i feel confident in saying youre in good hands with the staff and ownership. Being on the inside of the operation i can say with experience that this company cares. Management is devoted and commited to growth and customer service. Kent, Lance, Bruce and Gary have commited themselves to an environment based on quality and customer satisfaction by providing an excellent staff and continuing education for the service techs. In dealing with this company, I had signed on for a 6 mo delivery plan with a 2 yr service contract. What your sales rep won't tell you is that that 2nd "free" year is ONLY if you continue to receive oil deliveries from them. They will charge MUCH HIGHER than market rate for the second year fuel delivery contract and apparently you, the customer, are expected to chase them down in order to get information for a new contract. DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICE. more

Right after I moved into my home, in 1997, someone from Sweezy knocked on my door. I've been a loyal Sweezy customer ever since. We've had some cold days since then, and if a burner is going to give you problems, that is when it seems to happen. I can always depend on Sweezy to be there to get my burner going. They are always prompt, courteous, and helpful. Many times, since I signed with Sweezy, other oil companies have knocked on my door. I tell them I am happy with Sweezy, and wouldn't trade them for the world. more

I offer my highest recommendation for Swezey Fuel. I had an emergency during the holidays in my new (albeit old) home I recently purchased. The furnace was extremely faulty, which the inspector failed to notice, and I had a possible carbon monoxide leak. This company and the owner are amazing. They responded immediately when I called and gave the situation the utmost priority. They were incredibly professional, skillful and respectful. The new furnace unit was installed within hours. I don't usually write reviews, but my experience with Swezey Fuel was so positive and productive, especially in an emergency. I unequivocally recommend their services! more

I've been with Swezey fuel for just over 3 years now and have nothing but good things to say about them.I had some burner issues before I had them replace my dinosaur of a burner a little bit over a year ago and they were always quick to address my issues this is important to me especially having an infant in the house.This summer my central air stopped working and though I did not at the time have a service contract with them for my ac they came same day and addressed the issue which was a life saver as my house was at 90 degrees.Swezey is by far the best oil company I have ever dealt with and they are always willing to work with you as long as your requests are reasonable more willing to work with you than most companies I also find/have found that their oil prices are equal or better than a good amount of oil companies.of course the cod companies are going to be a few cents cheaper but to have an oil company that you can go on budget with and not have to worry about having cash on hand for a few cents more is well worth it as well as knowing I can call them anytime with them understanding my needs and get someone to me in a timely matter is very important especially once again having a toddler in the house.Swezey there customers very well they make you feel important so I highly recommend Swezey fuel to anyone looking for a top rate oil company with fair prices and excellent service. more

When I switched to gas heat I called around for plumbers. I needed servicing on my oil burner and had been very pleased with the service I had received over the years from Swezey's. While the serviceman was working I mentioned that I was switching to gas heat. He told me that Swezey's also installs gas heating equipment. I contacted Kent and he explained thoroughly my options. I arranged for an installation. The heavy snows last winter delayed the date into March. During that time Brookhaven changed its permit policy and Kent called and rescheduled my installation date to before the permit change date. There was lots of snow blocking access to my basement. Kent shoveled a path to the basement and got the heat going quickly. I'm really appreciative of the hard work of the Swezey's team that made my gas conversion fast and easy. more

I want to thank Carl, Kevin and whoever else came to my house for doing a very neat, top notch and quality installation. Being in construction well over 30 years, Ive come to know an excellent installation when I see one. I highly reccommend Swezey for any of your heating needs.
