Best

We were pleasantly impressed with Sushi Samba Dromo. We visited on a night when they were celebrating Brazil Independence Day, so the evening included samba dancers and musicians...

Worst

The first thing we did when we arrived we ordered some of there amazing house specialty cocktails then a bottle of wine, after the 3rd attempt, they were out of our first 2 select...

Surprisingly tasty experience on Lincoln Rd. Shared the taquitoes (highly recommend), yellowtail ceviche a bottle of rose & more - all delicious, light fare on a hot August day. Lincoln Rd. is great for people watching, but can be expensive whether the food's good or not. This restaurant is worth stopping for. Our waitress Claudia was great, too. Will definitely return! more

This place is still the best! Great service, great flavor, good drinks and fresh food. Try the tuna tataki - yum! Also was pleasantly surprised with the mussels dish, and you can't go wrong with the Neo-Tokyo roll. more

Great place, great location. But being on Lincoln it is not cheap. The sushi is fresh and tasty. I will go again. more

I like the atmosphere, and being that it is on Lincoln Rd is always a plus for me. \r My only issue with this place is that the service is lacking. more

The last time I was in Miami it got be 4, 5 years ago. Enjoyed the food then. Was looking for some place familiar when I came back to Lincoln Road. Sushi Sumba didn't disappoint. I will be back again. more

The menu is pretty extensive and I really enjoyed each dish ordered. The wagyu beef with mushrooms and the scallop wontons were my favorite. The food is pricey but nothing unexpected for the location and quality. more

Solid Sushi 9/22/2011

Sushi Samba is a solid 4 star place. The staff is attentive. The sushi, while not particularly memorable, was fresh and tasted good. I'd come here again. more

We had an excellent experience last night at SushiSamba. Being Miami Spice, my companion and I tried multiple items off the 3 course menu. All items were superb: Duck confit, ceviche, doraku to name a few. Our server, Maris, was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The atmosphere is a 10 out of 10. Highly recommended. more

Good food, poor service. 3/30/2011

The food is good, but the service was not. Our waiter was a little rude and slow with everything. He didn't check up on us and we had to get his attention often. Our drinks also took a very long time. No wonder he didn't care about us, the gratuity is included! more

This place has the best sushi around. I reccommend the samba sushi...chefs inspirtation. Their service is horrible and $$$ kinda steep. Oh and they upsale everything and can be persistant. Great sake selection also. Nice environment on Lincoln w nice parties/DJ late night throughout the week and weekend. Worth a try, but it your a customer service freak be ware! more

Great service and they were very accomedating due to my food allergies. more

Editorial review from Urbanspoon 5/26/2010

Pretty good sushi and friendly service, but the prices were too high for the small serving sizes offered. A person can go a few blocks away and get twice as much similar quality sushi for the same price. more

I found this place on a recent trip to Miami...\r It was on the very aggressive restaurant strip on Lincoln.\r Walking down the street people try to shove menus in your face to eat at their place. This was the only place that was friendly & let us check the menu out before deciding. The staff was very nice & the waiter was awesome. The location is prime for people watching! The food came out fast & the sushi was delish. It was a tad on the expensive side but thats Miami for ya. I recommend... more

Like good Sushi? Like great contemporary Latin food? Like fusion? Like a good time place in SoBe? This place has it all. more

Great food, great service! I was impressed with the menu, it's a great blend of Japanese, Brazillian and Peruvian. There were a lot of great options from sushi to churasco. We were all satisfied with our choices; if you go look for Erica who is possibly the best server I've ever had. more
