Superior Floor Coverings

Superior Floor Coverings is in our neighborhood and it felt good to support a local business. We had them put carpeting in our hall and two bedrooms. It was a challenge because it was an older home but they did a great job and they were very easy to work with. They have really good quality work and I was very happy. more

Mike from Superior Floor Coverings has a very courteous crew. I actually know the father of one of the guys who did our installation. They all did a great job! They came in and did it. They were very fast. We found a stain afterwards, and Mike came right in to fix it. more

Superior Floor Coverings were completely knowledgeable about what they were doing. I just walked in off the street into their shop and they had everything I needed in there. Mike the owner is such a nice, accommodating gentleman and the girl in the office is great. I needed wood floors with hydronic heating which is a really specific situation because wood expands with heat. The wood had to be climatized so there wouldn't be any shrinkage. I tried two other flooring companies and they said they weren't comfortable doing the job. That says a lot about Superior Floor Coverings. more

The girl from Superior Floor Coverings was very informative about the carpet, answered questions we needed answering, and was very courteous. We were happy with the installers working for them. There was damage on the floor when they left and they did no hesitate to return, take the two pieces out, put the furniture back where it was, and I thought that was remarkable. more

I've had two experiences with Superior Floor Coverings. I first called them after I extensively researched the various options available to me for hardwood floors. I spent three years looking at different types of products. I had quite a large area done in my house, everything except the bedroom. I really liked all the people who were associated, the sub contractors and everyone, with Superior Floor Coverings. I was really pleased with their quality and professionalism. Everyone involved in the process was very gracious and polite. It did take a while to get the job done, but that was because of things out of their control. One of the reasons was the moisture content of the wood was so high that the wood had to acclimate before being installed. So there was some delay in getting the floor in, but it wasn't their fault. They did an awesome job putting the floor down. Disaster struck only three months after the floors were completed. I had a water leak in the house, and all of the newly installed floors had to be repaired. I was absolutely devastated, and of course I wanted everyone involved in the original install to do the repairs. With insurance claims you're not always able to pick the people who do the work, but I told my insurance provider I wanted to use Superior. I told them I wanted the same exact floors I had before, and I wanted it replaced by the people I originally hired. I hadn't even paid off the original floors yet! I was able to have Superior and the people who did the work originally come back and do the repairs. They were even more accommodating and even more gracious and even more professional than the first time I used them. I can't say enough good things about them! more

Superior Floor Coverings was wonderful! It was our first time using them. We purchased a home and needed to replace flooring in three rooms. We bought carpet for two bedrooms and laminate flooring for an office. Superior was so flexible! We had some very short timetable/deadline issues to deal with, because we were moving out of an old house into this new house. They were fantastic about working with us and being flexible with the scheduling. The total experience wasn't perfect, because the installers Superior Floor Coverings hired could have been better. We had a drop-deadline. The installation had to be finished on Thursday because our furniture was being delivered on Friday morning. The installers came first thing on Thursday and started the work, but then they left for five hours and didn't come back till around six in the evening. They finished the job at eight o'clock when we had the furniture delivery at nine the next morning. Separate of the contracted installers, the two people I worked with at Superior couldn't have been any better. They really had great customer service. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. They knew what we needed and got it for us at what we felt was a fair price. I would highly recommend Superior Floor Coverings! more

Overall, the effort was not that strong on their part. We had to do the project in two segments. In one segment the front offices were done but the hallway was not. In turn we had to step over the raw ground that was in the hallway and continue to function as a company. Even after they had finished with their work the ground still felt uneven. There was a little worry when they mentioned there may be some asbestos present. When you step on the floor you can feel it shift and the thresholds were not completed. Once again there were a lot of little things that I was not happy with so it was fairly disappointing. more

I've done maybe fifteen or twenty jobs with Superior Floor Coverings. They do carpeting well. They aren't very quick to return phone calls, though. The installers can be inconsistent, which makes the quoting inconsistent. It's not always a great experience, but it is sometimes. more

I have only received excellent service from Superior Floor Coverings. They were very timely and efficient in laminating the floors in my house. Their installers were very competent and professional. They were also very flexible with my schedule. No complaints! more

We had our stairs and entire upper floor recarpeted by Superior Floor Coverings. They removed all of the old carpet, did a great job with all of the seams, and performed a thorough cleanup. They were really punctual and conscientious the whole time. more

We bought a huge 3,000 square foot house and looked around for carpeting in two different places. Michael at Superior Floor Coverings was more competitive and more willing to lower his prices, which he did. He bent over backwards to meet our deadline. The carpeting was installed beautifully; an A+ installation. Mike himself came out to oversee the installation. I'm buying carpet again and they happened to run out of the carpet I wanted. I changed my mind a couple of times and Mike just bent backwards again to please me. He's the nicest guy. more

Superior Floor Covering spent a lot more time than they were originally projected to and did a quality job. They spent time making sure the cuts were perfect and that the floor was spotless afterwards. It looks so pretty. I also like that they left cleaning product and a mop for me. It was great customer service. They were friendly, professional, and trustworthy. more

They told and showed me what I needed to do and were out in about a week. They put the floor in perfectly and saved me tons of money. more

We needed flooring replaced in a 12-year-old RV that proved to be a challenge. The work was long and tedious but it was professional and of the highest quality. It looks like it came from the factory brand new! Highly recommend this business. more
