Sorry to say, I've had a different experience with Super Lube. I've been going to them for oil changes for several years because of their convenient location, but will never return after today. \r \r While I was waiting, the tech brought out my cabin air filter and told me I needed to replace it. I told him no, that I would take care of it myself. I'm still angry that they took liberties with taking parts of my car apart that I didn't expressly ask them to do. But later, after the oil change was done, I found that the contents of the glove box--which needs to be removed to change/remove the cabin air filter--had been dumped out and shoved back in. Insurance papers, my phone charger, etc, had all been mashed, along with the trash bag I kept elsewhere in the car for candy wrappers, etc--yes, that had all been shoved in the glove box as well.\r \r But I also noticed that a piece of plastic had been snapped off and was lying on the floor.\r \r When I returned, the tech apologized for dumping the contents of the glove box (I wish they would've just been up front about this in the first place), saying he didn't know it was going to do that. (I could've told you that's what happens when you change the cabin air filter...the fact that he didn't know that makes me question his experience.) But after taking the glove box apart again, putting it back, not finding where the tab had broken off from, and then I returned to my car to find the place from which it had broken off myself...all I got was offers of a coupon and to glue it back together.\r \r From what I could tell, the tab was non-functional--if all I wanted was it glued back on, I could've done it myself. But that's not the point. The point is that my car wasn't returned to me in the condition in which I'd given it to them, not to mention the tossing of my glove box. If they failed to mention that to me, hoping I wouldn't notice, what else do they not tell their customers?\r \r Sorry, but I can't trust them anymore. more

My girlfriend and I have been going to Superlube and Brake in Brunswick for a few years now. Tony and his crew are great! They are honest and trustworthy. It seems other places are always looking for ways to rip you off, but not here. We will continue to give them our business because the quality and honesty never fails! more

FINALLY, an Honest auto service 1/12/2009

I've never taken the time before to write to one of these things, but I feel it may be helpful to people looking to have service done to their car. I've been using Superlube Complete Car Care in Brunswick for about 5 years now. I drive an older car that seems to have it's share of problems. I have always shopped around for auto services, used a few different places, always get prices from at least 3 different shops. But I always use Superlube. I've been treated VERY well there, and have absolutely No Problems associated with being female as with some shops that think you are stupid. I even took my car there once because I was told at another place I had a bad front oil seal, was quoted about $600 to repair it but decided to take it to Superlube to have the actual work done. (Figured they would at least save me a couple hundred bucks) Well, I told them the story, relayed to them what the problem was diagnosed as being, and sat back to wait for my ride to take me home. They took my car in to the bay, and 5 minutes later took it out. I was horrified, thinking it was something that could not be repaired, but Tony came out and just said ""All Done, it was just a loose oil filter"". They didn't even charge me for tightening it up. They knew I was prepared to pay up to $600 to fix it, but they were completely honest and didn't try to take advantage of me. All the work they have done on my car has been wonderful, engine problems, that e-check stuff, brakes, suspension, even my exhaust system and tires. (Oh Yeah, and a loose oil filter) They have a customer for life with me AND any of my friends and family that need work done on their cars. Virginia S Pros: Honesty, Fair pricing, Great work they stand behind 100%, stuck with their estimate price more
