When I moved to Rock Hill this summer, I immediately went in search of a tanning salon (it was 1 week before my wedding). I shopped around and when I considered everything that I was getting for the price, I chose to buy my package at Suntopia. The manager was super helpful in helping me get the best tan possible since I waited so long before my wedding! The staff at Suntopia is very friendly. they have excellent and affordale packages and lotions, and the salon is always clean. I always look forward to my tanning time each day! more

My friend chose to buy her package at another salon and ended up paying a membership fee (which I didn't pay at Suntopia). At work, we kept comparing our tanning experiences and eventually she cancelled her membership at the other place (cost her $20 and two months arguing with them while they charged her bank account anyway) so that she too could start tanning at Suntopia. The staff at Suntopia is very friendly and the stores are VERY CLEAN. I always look forward to my 20-minutes of paradise when I visit Sutopia. I have tanned at Suntopia since they opened in 2002 and have ALWAYS been greeted by friendly staff who know me by my first name. The girls are always excited to recommend new tanning lotion for me to try. They know what I like and match the perfect products for my budget. For a few weeks earlier this year, there was a short lapse in service but I noticed that the owners immediately took care of these employee issues and service went back to FABULOUS! Considering that I have tanned here for five years, Suntopia's track record is outstanding even with the issues earlier this year. And when you consider their upscale interior, their great equipment, no other tanning salon I have ever been to even compares. The stores are clean, the lamps are always fresh, the staff is friendly and the packages are really affordable, especially if you keep your package renewed. I've been tanning at Suntopia since early 2003, and I have to say, the past year Suntopia has sucked! The staff is very rude, the past few times I've walked in to tan; a couple of the females have been talking on the company phone making the customers wait. I've also seen the females let friends and boyfriends sit behind the counters with them. It is just so unprofessional. The staff doesnt ask me about my lotion or my tan, they don't seem as caring. I have not gotten the experience lately that I did years before. Suntopia just isn't the same anymore. Not as clean as before, but they do keep the lamps changed.... when the beds aren't broken.... I'm just not happy with the way that Suntopia has turned.... Pros: They say they're open 7 days... half the time their store isnt open on time... or even at all!! more

I travel alot and have tanned in alot of different cities, but I have never been to anything like Suntopia! This was absolutely the BEST experience I have ever had. I wish every store I did business with was a friendly and knowledgeable as they are! I love Suntopia and will visit them whenever I am in Rock Hill! I have been tanning with Suntopia since November 2002. What an outstanding Salon. Nick and Jackie (owners) have taken me in as if I where part of there family. I was very worried about tanning the first time I walked into Suntopia. It was my first time in a tanning bed. The staff helped me and showed me exactly what to do. By the next week they knew me by my first name. The service is wonderful and the staff is so kind. Not to mention they have very clean beds and great products. Finally, York County has a totally clean, totally upscale tanning salon! The staff helped educate me about my skin type, the correct lotion to use and the right package for me. They are truly interested in helping me get results! I was skeptical about their Mystic Tan until I tried it! Wow, tan first then do Mystic...unbelievable results! This is a great place to tan! The staff is so nice and very helpful! The owners are wonderful! And the atmosphere is really nice and upbeat. They have the best beds and products! I have been tanning here since they have opened and I love it. Once you go there you will never want to go anywhere else!!!
