I work as a RN, and have had animals before, but I am appalled at how other Veterinary places gouge you! I brought my Dog to another place in Moreno Valley and he kept making follow-Up appointments to charge me for unnecessary services! With practices like this, no wonder people can't afford to get their animals the care they need!\r
Recently my son gave me this 2 Month Old Kitten that was practically dead! I guess someone dumped it at the Movie theater expecting someone to pick it up. By the time my son found it it had been starving for weeks eating its own fur off!\r
I didn't think it would live through the night, and I had to get it a heating blanket before the vets office opened in the morning. My son had fed it dry cat food, and it became impacted. It couldn't even walk it was so sick!\r
Dr. Park came up with a price I could afford, kept ""Molley"" for a few days providing IV fluids, enemas and blood tests. This kitty had medications, vitamin supplements, and special worm treatments before she was better. All through this the staff were so caring I wanted to cry. When they held her you could tell they really cared and it wasn't just another animal.\r
I got used to their lunch schedule and bringing my own folding chair and reading material. They have a T.V in the small lobby, and limited seating.\r
I waited outside and spent some time holding and caring for that kitten. They are super busy, but I don't mind waiting. The care was affordable, and their attention to detail saved this cats life.\r
When I couldn't get back to pick the aminal up because of a work problem, they kept her overnight for a $10.00 charge with a caring attitude. Willing to work with the customer. When I picked the cat up, the cage was clean with fresh water and fresh kitty litter.\r
I save my news papers for them. They appreciate the small things people do and work with what people can afford. They don't have the Luxury Package, but they make up with it in the care and service they provide.
