The Mech. forgot to re-install a hose from the radiator. Engine heater and I discovered it when I looked under the hood to find out why the engine was hisssing.

They were able to get me in for servicing with short notice and were able to complete the work by the time they said they would. They also knew it was me when I walked up to the counter and they pointed out to me some future work that I'll need done, so it wouldn't come as a surprise later. more

Surprise !!! 5/11/2013

Told a while back that the front brakes would need work in the near future...so, when it turned out to be a $385 expense, it was a shock...a BIG shock. Of greater surprise is that the front wheel brakes were just, maybe, 'dirty' while the master brake cylinder LEAKED...dangerous. Now I guess I can expect to be told soon that the front brakes need work...yeah, right....and the budget will be strained for the year. Curious indeed..but, hey, the oil change was included. more

Efficient, friendly, honest service 5/7/2013

They have always treated me fairly. They do not perform services not needed as some others have done. I was especially amazed that they checked my car for no charge to assure me it was safe to go on vacation. This was above and beyond my expectations. more

Out of air? 3/21/2013

Even after requesting my tires be aired up to at least 32 psi, my spare was not touched. This has happened before and I don't understand how something so simple but so very important is treated with such disregard. Most people, especailly the elderly, who are usually more trusting, would never know that they are driving around with dangerously low tires and/or a nearly flat spare tire, until they have a blow-out/accident. Unacceptable! more

Pleasent Experience, Honest 2/21/2013

Although we were shocked at the number of issues Sun City Auto found problematic with our 2002 Explorer (never had any issues before) we appreciated the way each of the items were presented to us. The categories presented included, what we needed to address now for safety, and other issues we would want to work on (in two steps) if we planned on keeping the vehicle. We found that pricing was a bit less than Ford, mainly because when possible and desirable (based upon their experience) they recommed the use of after-martket parts. I was surprised that unlike almost every place we have done business with since arriving in AZ, Sun City did not offer Senior Citizen pricing - even a 10% break on labor (and parts if possible) would be appreicated on those of us on fixed incomes. (Ford for example generally offers such discounts.) more
