Vehicle was not ready on the date promised but a rental car was arranged for the inconvenience.

Poor Visit and will not be back 5/22/2011

I cannot rate my visit with even one star. I will not be back, treated as a typical woman and the store thought they could get an add on service if they failed my inspection. I am so disapointd in the managements response to my complaint. Nothing you can do to save me as a customer. I only wish this store can learn that just because you are a woman, they just might know what they are talking about. This shop failed my inspection trying to tell me I needed a break job and tires. I went down the road and the same car was inspect with no questions asked. The management cannot defend what they did to try and earn a sale. I am in the same business. Ethics is something that is needed in this store. I will never be back. The manager knows he was wrong and I will not battle him in trying to defend what I know to be true and proven by real professionals. Amy Wiesinger more

I feel gouged 4/29/2011

I brought in my 2008 Hyundai Sonata with 55000 miles for an oil & filter change. I was told that the rack & pinion steering had a leak, the upper radiator hose had a leak, various flushes were recommended. I had it all done because I know nothing about cars. Total bill: $1700+. Something in me is uneasy about everything being fine at the 50,000 mile oil/filter change and 4 months later there are so many problems. I'm trying to be fair; things happen. But I feel gouged. more

Safety Inspection 4/25/2011

I brought in my husband's Chevy Blazer for safety inspection. I was barley there for about 10 mins and it was done. On another note: I have brought in 4 cars for Louetta to work on,I have never had any problems with the techs AT ALL when I get my cars returned to me. I think some people just roll out of bed on the wrong side and just wanted to ruin somebody elses day and fine something wrong. Give Louetta Techs a break!!!! I would highly refer my friends to Louetta if they need car repairs done!!!! more

Great Service 4/25/2011

I've been taking my vehicle to Louetta for years and have always experienced great customer service, but on my last visit, they exceeded all expectations. The Asst. Manager Mike went beyond the call of duty and found an error on my account, which was credited back to me. The error was several months old, but he caught it and for that, I can not thank him enough. He saved me over $100 in charges. It's people like Mike that keep the customers coming back. Mike and the rest of the crew at Louetta are top notch, and I will not have my vehicle serviced anywhere else. more

Review 4/24/2011

Mike and I believe jon were very nice, accomidating and freindly. I was rather discouraged when the AC started blowing hot after less than 48 hours. when you spend $2000 for something to be fixed and it fails within days it is dissappointing at best. I will be contacting them soon to reschedule the inconvenience of having to go through this again. The staff was great the outcome not so much. Please contact me for any questions 281-755-3241 more

fantastic 4/9/2011

I took my vehicle in to get something fixed from the last time it was in. My gas guage was not working properly. The Mechanics kept me informed every step of the way to let me know what was happening. Mike was friendly as usual and very helpful. I will be bringing my vehicle in the next time it needs work. Like I said last time, you have one me over. Thanks Louetta Auto. more

Every time I go into the front office, there are the guys at the front desk busy as always, but they always have time to welcome you. They always try to help me out with different options for repairs, I never feel pressure to do anything that I don't want or need at the time. They always work with me!! more

Very comfortable waiting room, everyone I came into contact with was very friendly. I was provided options about repairs that needed to be made and no pressure was put on me to schedule an appointment right away, etc. I'll always go back to them! more

Poor 2/28/2011

Scheduled appointment for alignment and was promised upon scheduling that vehicle would be available same day. Delivered vehicle earlier than scheduled appointment. Then not ready until next day. Don't set expectations you cannot deliver on. more

not happy 2/19/2011

I had to return for them to install a wind shield wiper & head light bulb. When I returned the head light bulb was not installed properly. A clip needed to position the head light was lost or broken. When I got home I ralized the bulb was not correct. For the third time I returned to have the bulb checked when it was discovered the clip was not there. Now I am waiting on the clip to come in & I still don't have my wind shield wiper blade. I will have to return for a foooorth time just to get a head light bulb installed & a wind shield wiper blade. someone needs to check the bathroom & keep it clean. more

Beware - Stay Away 2/16/2011

We took our 07 Dodge there because it was making a loud noise. We were told it was the Alternator and was given an estimate of $700.00 to fix it. They told us the Alternator was $395.00 because it was a 'special' Alternator. After picking our bottom jaw up off the floor, we called Autozone and found out that there was nothing 'special' about the Alternator for our car and Autozone's price was $170.00. What kind of rip off place marks up their parts costs over 100%? You know Louetta Automotive doesn't pay retail for their parts so they were going to charge us more than double their cost for the part. We told them that we were going to p/u our car and have it fixed by another repair shop. They charged us $110.00 just to diagnose the problem! We paid $375.00 to have the Alternator replaced elsewhere. Unfortunately it ended up costing us $485.00 when you add the $110 diagnostic cost. Save yourself grief and money - STAY AWAY FROM LOUETA AUTOMOTIVE! There are way too many other car repair shops in Cypress. more

Good Service...Dirty Workers 2/14/2011

I have taken three different vehicles to Louetta on Barker Cypress, one of which is my wife's Honda CR-V. She likes the Honda dealership to do her maintenance, but I've had such great experiences with Louetta that I wanted to take her car there as well. The first time I took her car someone got grease on her armrest. This most recent trip I specifically asked Leland to make a note that the tech needs to cover EVERYTHING, based on what happened last time. Unfortunately, when I picked up her car there was a wet spot on the door armrest. I'm glad that the tech took the time to clean the grease this time, but this just isn't acceptable. Two service appointments, two grease spots. Although I like Louetta and have not had any trouble with my Dodge truck (or my previous Honda), I will NOT be bringing my wife's Honda CR-V back. They're a good group of guys with a lot of knowledge and great attitudes, but two of the same mistakes are too many. more

Not my normal service experience from Louetta Automotive 2/6/2011

I brought my car in for a simple oil change and tire rotation. The mechanic basically broke off the wheel lock key and suggested this was the liability of the last oil change dealer.I am left holding the bag for now. Hopefully I wont have a flat until it is fixwd. more
