Suds 'N Duds Coin Laundromat

I went to Suds and Duds for the first time last night, and I was pleasantly surprised at how clean, professional, and efficient it was. I wish I caught the name of the lady running the place--she had red hair and she was extremely helpful. You could tell that she took pride in keeping the place in top shape and in helping customers. The system is a little different than usual coin laundries (you use a prepaid card to start the machines) but I think it is much more convenient. You can come in with cash or credit card--no need to lug around quarters. The washers are very efficient--I think it took less than 20 minutes to wash 30 lbs of laundry. There are different sizes of washing machines to choose from too, which is convenient. There are carts on wheels to help transport laundry from the washer to the dryer, which is very convenient. This is a great place. I would absolutely do my laundry here again,and I recommend to anyone looking for a very clean, reasonably-priced, efficient, and well-managed laundromat. . more

This laundry's dryers cost $.25 for 5 minutes, but do not get hot enough to dry a load of clothes in under 1 hour. The last two minutes of drying are for a ""cooling"" period as opposed to other's dryers being one minute. When brought to the attention of the ""attendant"" she called the owner who came to talk with us. She said she owned the store for four years and in that time never had them adjusted, and that it costs $3 to dry a load of clothes. Everyother person who was there was also complaining about their clothes not being dry, but no one brought it to the ""attendants"" attention. We strongly recommend staying away from this laundry as we will be doing from now on after spending almost $25 to clean 7 loads of laundry that are still damp and in some cases wet.
