Dr. Daman and his staff are excellent. They provide excellent care and are very competent in everything they do. They put both the pets and owners at ease.

Let me start by telling you a back story, my son is in the military and he was the owner of a golden retriever named Commander. When he was deployed for the first of many in 2006 a very good friend that we consider family adopted of Commander. Unfortunately Commander was diagnosed with cancer two years ago. Dr. Damon made Commander very comfortable during this rough time. Unfortunately Commander lost the battle with cancer Monday evening. I can't say enough about how the doctor treated us and Commander. He actually got on the floor with the dog and family during this hard time. I never witnessed so much compassion from a doctor. I feel that Dr Damon is truly in the profession because he loves what he does. I have never seen someone with such compassion for people and animals. I can't say enough about this man.\r I highly recommend Dr. Dennis Damon.\r \r Lin Pugh more

I not only take my pets here for their medical needs, but I also purchase everything that I need for them here. The people that work here are very knowledgeable and know their products well. I trust them to know what s best for my pets. more

We've been going to Dr. Daman since July 3, 1994. Dr Daman opened up his clinic on a friday nite/4th of July weekend to take in our kitten that was severely injured. He took care of her injuries and helped us nurture her back to good health. He's an honest, trustworthy and caring individual and has the animal's utmost best interest in mind. We've continued to come back to this practice, as his practice, great integrity and caring office staff demonstrate what every animal owner needs - trustworthy individuals to take care of our pets. People need to get over what you think might be ""rudeness"" - I've never seen it in all of the years that I have gone there. I would recommend him, and always have. more

Great Vet! 4/13/2011

I have read a few negative reviews of Dr. Daman and in my over 20 years experience of dealing with him, I have to say that I completely disagree. Yes, his people skills can be somewhat lacking at times, but his concern for animals is amazing. more

Dr. Daman is The Best 3/16/2011

We have been taking all of our family pets to Dr. Daman ever since he took over for Dr. Thompson, years ago . Dr. Daman is very professional, serious Dr. who's love for animals is without doubt. Our 2 year old cat Tweety, came home one day, with her front leg dangling, in horrible pain, which later we found out was shot by one of our ""lovely"" neighbors. At that time Dr.Daman had left on a trip over Easter. So we rushed her down to the Emergency Clinic in Cranberry. Wow, you better take you wallet if you are going to the Cranberry E.R. We were charged over $2000.00, just for testing, and to stabilize her. And it would be ""around"" another 2-3 thousand to amputate her leg and so on. I called Dr..Daman ,on his Easter vacation, and told him what had happened, and he cut short his trip, and came home to treat our cats amputation. He called three times to our home to check on Tweety's condition, even before he started home from vacation. We picked her up from Er in Cranberry, and he took her that very day, and did the amputation that evening. And he charged us 8-$900.00 for everything, not 2-$3000 like Cranberrys estimate. Tweety is alive and living happily with three legs, thanks to Dr. Daman. If you want a dedicated, serious Dr. to care for your pets, he is the one to visit. He's not there to entertain us, he's there to take care of our pets. more

Suburban Animal Clinic 4/19/2010

Dr Damon has taken care of several of my animals. While he may not be the ""friendliest"" person (meaning, he is not overly familiar, or gushy), he IS a very good vet. His bedside manner is not the most affable, but his care of my animals has ALWAYS been exemplary. His staff is very friendly and helpful, and his prices are very affordable. He does not push for unnecessary tests or procedures, and if he suggests something which you decline, he does not make you feel like you don't love your animal. I would to back ot this clinic in a heartbeat, no questions asked. (Much better than Butler Veterinary, who seem to be all about the dollar!) Pros: Friendly staff, affordable care Cons: No seperate waiting rooms. more

Rude, Intolerable, and Verbally Aggressive 4/11/2009

We took our daughters pup to this clinic, it was closer than our normal vet, and since it was an emergency we thought he could help! My daughters 10 week old registered mini-schnauzer was throwing up, not feeling well, and had been lethargic for a few days. Feeling that we must get him in as soon as possible, we made an appointment with a local vet, verses our normal vet. Upon entering, we registered the pup, and took a seat, my husband and I stepped out to smoke a cigarette, waiting for our appointment, when re-entering the receptionist said ""I was hoping you would wait outside."" Quit confused, I asked ""why."", She said ""Well not so much ""you"" but the dog."" I said ""This pup has been sick, I do not want him exposed to the chilly air."" She got kind of hateful with me, and said ""fine I will just put you in a room."" (Ummm here is an idea, why did they NOT do this when we came in???) After the vet finally came in the room, he was totally rude (now mind you it was 1:30 in the afternoon, and the parking lot was totally empty), He started verbally bashing us about the shot record, the pup was weened by his mother at 2 weeks. Since he was no longer covered by her immune system, we began the series of shots to vaccinate them against common illnesses. After informing him of that, he kept stressing ""MY EDUCATION."" I wanted to inform him that ""MY EDUCATION, told me that he had some serious issues with a bed side manner."" Keeping my mouth shut and trying to concentrate on the dog, I asked about a possible ""puppy flue."" He then informed me that before selling these puppies, I should have gotten them a ""well check"" by a vet. I had already given him the shot record, which had a copy of the shots given to the puppy as well as a copy of--yes, thats right, the ""puppy well check"" given by our regular vet. I informed him that I had done so, and told him that if he had read the ""entire packet"" he would have read that the puppy had received a vet check. He shut up and walked out of the room. Upon him coming back into the room, he said ""You mean to tell me that your ""regular"" vet was not available to see this pup."" I was floored. I simply stated ""I was looking for a closer vet, since this is NOT my dog, this is my 19 year old daughters, who does not live with me! I can see now that was a tragic mistake."" After 100.00 and a horrible attitude from all people in this business, We did come to the conclusion that the pup simply had ""the puppy flue."" Thankfully he has recovered and is doing very well. It is strongly my suggestion that you DO NOT use this vet if you are looking for friendly, and actual caring vets. Use Cranberry Veterinarian Clinic in Cranberry, the doc is very friendly as are the rest of the ladies that work with him. Education is NO excuse for ignorance! No wonder he had an empty parking lot, and a lack of business!!!! Jennifer Schnittker more
