Jenny Delpierre is the BEST! 11/28/2011

Jenny Delpierre is the best stylist! I have been getting my hair cut, colored and styled (for events, etc) by Jenny for over 6 years and have never been let down. If you have an idea in your head or even pictures to reference you can talk to Jenny about what you want and she makes sure the cut and color will work for you. She also remembers what you like and dont like (I like this cut but with longer bangs, or I dont like crazy layers) to make sure you will be happy with the outcome. I have recommended her to friends and family who also now go to her and are just as satisfied!! more

Great Salon! 11/27/2011

I have been a customer since I got married -- 21 years ago! Over the years, I have had many services, but have a standing appointment for my nails and hair. Tan is a superb nail technician! He ensures my nails have a nice shape, is meticulous when polishing my nails, and even gives a great hand massage! Lyni does a great job cutting and styling my hair. She takes great care using color around the hairline!! more

BEST eyebrows! 11/26/2011

I have been a customer for over 10 years! My primary use for the salon is for my eyebrows. I know silly but I have full eyebrows and a small scar in one. It is really difficult to make them look even, but Lily is incredible. She is quick and shapes them perfectly every time. Lily is extremely knowledgable in skin care products that I know I can trust she will suggest exactly what I need. I am looking forward to my once a year facial (I wish it was more frequent). It is always my tax refund gift to myself. Thanks for perfection every time I come in! more

I've been going to Amber for the last 9 years, ever since I've moved up to Lake County. She takes alot of time with my coarse, unruly hair. My son who doesn't live in town makes sure he comes back home for his haircuts! more

I have had hair extensions for 11 years. When I met Vicki 7 years ago, I found my forever stylist. She has continued her education and made it a point to be up to date on the latest and greatest. My hair has always been thin and stringy but Vicky has made it look wonderful and natural. No one would ever guess it is extensions. She has kept my natural hair healthy, and matched it perfectly. Vicki is my go to girl for extensions, color, and cut. She blends it all beautifully! I have recommended all my friends to Vicky and we all have the same opinion....Vicky is the Best for all our hair needs!! more

I moved to the north suburbs of Illinois 6 years ago and struggled for five years to find a great hairdresser. Then a friend of mine recommended I try Vicki Millard last summer. I followed her to Studio 21 last fall, and I have never been happier with my hair. She colors, highlights and cuts my hair exactly the way I want it, every time. My long, blond hair is healthy and I am extremely happy. Last spring, I moved downtown; however, I continue to drive up to Gurnee to have Vicki do my hair at Studio 21 every two months. The salon itself is clean and professional, upscale but completely comfortable. I love going in to have my hair done! more

COMFORTABLE SALON W/KNOWLEDGABLE STYLISTS 5/15/2011

My first visit to Studio 21 was last fall and I've been going back ever since. From the moment I walk in, I feel comfortable. It is not a snooty salon where they look you over as you enter the door. Everyone I encounter is very friendly & professional, which to me, is a sign that they like their jobs & it is a good company to work for. I visit Studio 21 every 7 weeks and during my visits, I've seen a good mix of men, women, and children all getting pampered with various treatments. My stylist is Vicki Millard, whom I've been going to for many years. She does a fantastic job cutting, coloring, and highlighting my hair. She takes the time to find out what I want, and if I don't know, provides suggestions that never disappoint. She has always done a wonderful job. I recommend Studio 21 and Vicki Millard to anyone needing a comfortable, reasonably priced salon and an experienced, well-rounded stylists. more

I followed Vicki to Studio 21! 4/22/2011

I have had my hair and color done by Vicki for over 5 years. What I appreciate is that she always listens as to what I would like each particular visit. I'm so happy after my last visit last week as I've received many compliments on my new haircut. Four years ago my 6 year old daughter cut off her bangs and we went to Vicki for a few 'emergency' hair extensions. She really helped us out till the bangs grew out. I've seen Vicki's hair extension work since then -she does a great job! more

Love the Salon, LOVE my Stylist! 4/12/2011

Studio 21 is a wonderful place to be pampered. From hair to spa treatments, the atmosphere is elegant and inviting. My stylist there is Vickie Millard. I cannot say enough great things about Vickie. I went to Vickie for the first time about 10 years ago - with kinky-permed hair and mundane color - I was desperate for a change. My stylist at the time worked at a high-dollar salon, but she was stuck in the 80's and 90's. I was looking for a change, but could not articulate exactly what I wanted. I finally got up the courage to make an appointment with a new stylist (Vickie) and I've never looked back! After consulting with Vickie, I knew she was the stylist for me. If you are looking for a stylist who is as passionate about your hair looking GREAT as you are, then she is your answer. It's as if she puts her personal signature on every head of hair she touches. From color trends to cutting trends to amazing hair extensions, she works magic with your hair. My transformation was amazing, and to this day I get three to four compliments a month on my hair. Now I take my daughters there, too. And thanks to Vickie not only do they have beautiful hair, but they are color/cut trendsetters in their own school. Thank you Vickie and Studio 21! more

Vicki Millard at Studio 21 Hair & Spa 3/30/2011

I have never been 100% happy with a hair stylist as I am with Vicki. I have followed Vicki when she moved to Studio 21. She has changed the way I look with hair extensions, color and cut. The transformation was incredible. I always get so much compliments on how beautiful I look. I have total trust in her when she does my hair. Sense I found Vicki, my search for a great stylist has ended. I highly recommend her!!!! more

I have been using Vicki for a long time & when she made her move to Studio 21 I followed. I never need to say much on what needs to be done I have total trust in her. She always has time for me. I am very bad about making standing appts but she never fails to get me in. I highly recommend Vicki. I have never received so many compliments on my hair since she has started doing my hair. I highly recommend Vicki Millard for all your cut, color, highlighting, and extension needs. Vicki is very meticulous and is tops in her profession. She wears extensions everyday and always styles them a different way. You would never know that she has extensions. It looks like her real hair. I am amazed. She really listens and fulfills what the customer requests. I have been going to her for almost a year and am glad I found her online. I get so many compliments on my hair since going to Vicki. more

Vickie Millard has been cutting my hair for 5 or 6 years. Being a married man, my wife wants me to look nice. I have a lot of cow licks and over the years have tried many barbers and those chain hair cutting places. My wife was always upset with me, but since going to Vickie, no more. The hair cuts grow out nicely and she gets me in and out. The staff took great care of me. more

Color, Cut, Extensions: Ask for Victoria at Studio 21 1/10/2011

I have been going to Vickie Millard for over 7 years. I moved with her when she changed salons. There is a relationship with a good stylist that can?t be broken. She has grown in experience and I have never looked better. People always ask me who does my hair. I have weird curly hair and she knows how to keep it looking good. She has given me extensions several times with great success. She always recommends what is good for me and throws in many special touches; like a free blue touch of hair with my extensions for that perfect cool touch. You name it and Vickie has done it to my hair. She keeps my husband looking hot. He always says he doesn't want to spend the money, but keeps going back, because her haircuts grow out great and she gets him ""in and out"". The owner was very welcoming and the front desk made me feel very important. Studio 21 has terrific nail services. I always go there for my nails when I want them to last. Studio 21's BEST stylist 1/8/2011

Vicki is the best....if you are looking to do hair extenstions....look no more!!!!! The extensions Vicki put in my hair look so natural and she took time to ask me what I wanted and also gave me her advice. I have had so many compliments. I have very thick, curly, course hair and she has recommened products that work also! She didn't just send me on my way without giving through instructions on how to care and style my hair. She is freindly and you will feel like you have known her for a long time when you meet her...I felt totally comfortable with her and Vicki will tell you if she feels something will work or not for your hair...Thumbs up for Vicki!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more

Great Spa! 2/28/2008

I just started going to Studio 21 on a friends recommendation and had the best experience. I got a gift card from my friend at work and had an Escape package. Massage, Facial, Manicure, Pedicure etc. The spa was so beautiful. When you first walk in you wouldn't even know they would have such a nice spa. Better than any destination spa I have been too. I am going to take my mom and sister for massages. I can't wait to go back. Nora at the front desk was great by giving me a full tour of the salon while I waited for my services to start. I am hooked! Pros: Beautiful salon, great customer service Cons: Getting in and out of the parking lot, bad at rush hour more
