Mike D -great technician 7/23/2019

Really want to give Mike D five stars for diagnosing the problem with our AC units which (though practically new) kept breaking down year after year. He made the effort to crawl under the house to really check the coils and found they were not compatible with the AC unit as was the problem with the attic coils. He did not just fix the symptom. What a relief! We know this was a tough job. We were happy that he was the guy who came out recently to do our annual AC maintenance. Thanks to Mike and his helpers. more

Great service 6/19/2019

Josh came out and got myself and my mother-in-law set up for replacement water heaters. He was thorough and the turnaround time was the next day. All in all, a great experience. more

Competent and courteous electrical help 3/19/2019

Chris R. came out to help us with an electrical problem that developed over the week. He listened to the list of electrical "symptoms" that our older home was having. We didn't realize that all of the Stuart Services electricians were booked at the time, so we were glad that he was able to come to our house when he did. Fortunately, there was not a big problem and, after troubleshooting, he made some recommendations on our use of appliances to minimize tripping switches and on upgrading some components to minimize potential future issues related to the problem. Chris was very helpful in explaining the issues and answering our questions. more

Had a simple shower clog issue, they came out in the window they noted after calling for my convenience to make sure we were home and were prompt. Josh fixed the issue quickly and helped me to understand what may have caused the issue and preventative measure to stop it from happening again. Very thorough and pleasant service visit. Would recommend. more

Mike D - Quality Control 9/4/2018

We were having terrible problems with our HVAC systems which were failing constantly for no specific reasons. Though small fixes were done in the past (capacitor here, capacitor there, etc), it never seemed to solve the HVAC problems. Why were fairly new systems always breaking down? Yes, we were frustrated. Mike D. came out and listened to the descriptions of the problems we had been experiencing over time. He even called Ed B. out to make sure it was not a generator problem. Mike went under the house and into the attic just looking at everything and found that some systems were not compatible (coils vs compressor units). No one else seemed to look as hard to fix the overall problem. He also went the extra yard to make sure we did not have leaks through the duct work. He also was responsive in reviewing the other technicians work who made some of the new repairs. Thanks Mike D. more

EXCELLENT SERVICE FROM START TO FINISH 8/22/2018

After calling several local Slidell electricians, and getting the run around, I called Stuart Services. My job was small and did not seem to interest many companies in the Slidell area. When I placed the call to Stuart, I was happily greeted by a pleasant lady on the other end of the phone. She promptly set an appointment with me for the next day. The tech arrived ahead of time and was very professional. He determined and fixed the problem in about 10 minuets. After trying for a week to even get someone to come out; Stuart Services had me up and running in less than a day. Great service great people. Two thumbs up!!! more

Terrible company 9/2/2017

Terrible terrible service! Never waste your money! My air conditioner had an issue on Tuesday. But they sent me the technician on Thursday afternoon. The issue is that my AC outside unit did not work sometimes. Before they came, they told me that I have to turn off the AC whole morning (87F outside). After the technician came, he told me that he need to charge $250 for diagnosis. Don't believe their website, they said they only charge $50 for the trip. That was not the worst part. After he checked everything, he said that there was no problem with my AC, but he could not offer a warranty unless I pay $5,700 to change the inside unit. My AC worked well at that time. So I thought everything was good. However, the same issue comes again. The company said that they can do the diagnosis again with $450 only for diagnosis. They have the unprofessional technicians, can not solve the problems and just want you to reinstall the whole AC system. Terrible terrible service! more

Great AC service! 7/6/2017

Christopher from Stuart Services came to fix our 21-year-old air-conditioning unit on the Friday of 4th of July holiday weekend. We discovered the problem at 3pm that day, and he arrived at 6:30pm- unbelievably prompt service on the busy holiday weekend! We feared our old unit was a goner, but Chris got it working quickly and cheaply! We will definitely call Stuart Services for all future AC repairs. more

Great AC srvice in New Orleans 6/28/2017

We have been looking for a reliable company for our frequent air condioning problems. Two companies have sent salesmen posing as repairmen who try to sell sign you up for a service agreement. Kyle from Stuart Services serviced both our air conditioning units and never once tried to lock us into a contract. . He spent several hours and did a very thorough job- we will always use Stuart Services from now on! more

Whole-house Refit Estimate 6/14/2017

Scott M. was tremendously helpful in determining how to solve our problems and prevent problems in the future. Our older home had some other plumbing issues recently and it reached a point where we feared additional problems would arise if a more complete solution was not undertaken. Scott carefully considered all the implications and options in this undertaking and presented those to us as well as the cost differences. Very professional. Gave us great confidence in this undertaking. more

AC installation 4/27/2017

Matt B & Mike H were prompt, professional techs who were sent to replace an AC unit located in a compromising location. Their team work & respect for each other was evident as they evaluated the situation & agreed upon a game plan that was very successful. They are very professional, respectful & very knowledgeable when questioned. Stuart Services is very lucky to have them as team members. BTW..thanks for fixing the door knob..greatly appreciated! :) more
