i just had a breast aug on Nov 10, 2011. i was worried about everything from anesthesia to recovery to anything else a normal person would be concerned about. Bottom line: I picked a Strax Doctor that I felt was fully capable and one I felt I could trust. Surgery is over and I have zero complaints. In fact, it was actually a good experience. At every step, the staff made me feel comfortable. The Dr made me feel like he cared about me and, in the end, gave me a size that was right for me. I seem to be healing well. On my second day, post op and I am feeling good. At this point, I feel blessed we have Strax as an option in this market. Without Strax, I dont think I could have received the breasts that I have always wanted. I may have paid a bit less but I do not feel that I sacrified anything to have quality work done. I would recommend to anyone to look into Strax for yourself. more

In June of 2010, I had a free consultation at Strax Rejuvenation with one of their surgeons. I told the doctor that I wanted to reshape certain areas of my body, and he suggested that I should go with the smart lipo procedure. After the consultation, I discussed the price and I was shocked. Their prices are the best in South Florida, so I was able to book my procedure right away. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Fisher, who is a board certified plastic surgeon along with how I was treated by the entire staff. I am extremely pleased with the result. I continue to recommend Strax to all my friends because I am overjoyed with the whole experience. more

On Dec 2010, I had face lift by Strax Rejuvenation performed by Dr. Basilie and cost me several thousand dollars + several hundred for injection and other extra charges . After 6 months, when swelling settled down I noticed accumulation of skin under and above my eyes. I did not have this problem before. It causes my appearance to look tired and old. My family & friend ask me it is very bad and fix it. I waited a few months and hope it goes away and it did not. I decided to bring it to attention of Dr. Basilie on March 2011 and he agreed to the cause and asked me to wait another 2 months and lets see what happens. And I did; June 6, 2011, I saw the doctor again and I asked him to please take care of this damage as a result of surgery and he said "it can happen and there is no logical base"! That was a bit of surprise. Since I respected him, I stopped talking and thanks him. Instead I was asked to wait and an aid gave me a code of $4000.00 (regular price!). Then I decide to call and talk to owner a gentleman name Jeff and instead I was transferred to some other administration person name Mark Shriven (I am not sure of spelling). I described the issue and told him that I want to resolve this issue peacefully and willing to pay a portion of the cost. He told me that he needs a few days to investigate and get back to me and I told him that is fine. Then I did not hear from him. Today, June 22 I call and talk to him and he said not much can do about it and if I want to get it done, talk to their financial person to give me a price. I told him, because of the damage of about 6 months ago surgery this happened and needs to be taking care, but he did not want to cooperate. That was the end of it and I decided to submit this complains to BBB. Note that nobody want to go under knife, but in my case it is so bad and it is a bothering that I do not mind and willing to pay even a portion of the cost and expected a multimillion company like Strax to take care of the customer. Apparently they do not care about "customer satisfaction". I am willing to cover 20% of the cost, but they want to charge me full price. Thanks for reading. I came to Strax after the 7th of my former teammates with the Dolphins died in late July of 2010. I, myself was over 350 pounds and distraught about my own physical condition. As you can imagine I was on blood pressure and cholesterol medication. It was a wake up call to say the least to sit by and watch many of my former teammates dying from issues due to obesity. I peaked at my highest weight (382 pounds), 12 months earlier and I did everything I possible could to lose weight especially taking into consideration my physical limitations caused by my career in football. I was successful in trimming down from 382 to 354, but I could not get past that weight. It was at that time a friend and former teammate told me at about Strax. My wife and I spoke about the opportunity and decided to visit Strax to learn more. We met with Dr Chio, and the staff, toured the facility and armed ourselves with as much information as we could. Everyone we encountered at Strax made us feel at home and they were happy to take the time to be sure all of our questions were answered. They promised me that given my history and my commitment to the program the Lap band could help me get my life back. I sadly admit that even though I had been an All-Pro NFL Lineman, I had lost faith in myself to get control of my own weight. I must say that even though my wife was hesitant about this procedure after meeting with the staff at Strax we both left feeling comfortable and confident about Strax and their staff. That very day my wife and I decided to schedule me for Lap Band surgery. To say that Strax met my expectations would not be doing them justice. Strax, their Doctor’s, nurses, and support staff has consistently blown me away! I had 13-football related surgeries while a member of the Miami Dolphins and Washington Redskins. I can tell you the care I received from Strax was at least on par, if not exceeded my surgical experiences while in the NFL. I am completely satisfied with Strax and highly recommend the center and Doctors to everyone I speak with. I have been able to be medicine free since September and have lost almost 80 pounds! more

Well, he's not a magician, but he's about as close as you can get! Dr. FIsher has been my surgeon since 2006. I'm in my 40's now and through the years I have had several procedures done. Smart Lipo, Eye Lid Lift, Breast Lift and a chin implant. (That's talent when a surgeon can do all this, but most important he's excellent in all those procedures). He has helped me age Gracefully!! I look and feel great. Dr. Fisher takes his time to listen to your area of concerns and makes sure that you are 100% confident that he will make you look and feel like the person you want to look at when you look in the mirror. Dr.Fisher, his assistant Lorreta and Simon are professionals and caring. When it comes to making a life changing experience Dr. Jonathan Fisher is the BEST!!!! more

I had my breast augmentation in July of 2007. I met with Dr. Hamm who was very nice but he decided for me what size implant to put in even though I told him I did not want to go that big. He also disregarded the fact that I told him I was assymetrical and I wanted him to put less in the larger breast. During surgery he realized 425cc was too much for my small fram so he had to remove extra saline until he reached 375 cc. Months after the surgery I was not happy with how they felt because it felt like there were air bubbles in my implants. He refused to do anything about it. I was assymetrical. I decided to meet with a different surgeon who might listen to me. So I met with Dr. Nees to ask him for help. He said he could try to make me more symmetrical by moving the position of the areola, so I agreed. At the same time I wanted a mini tummy tuck. Dr. Nees said I did not need a full tummy tuck. He told me the incision would be small and like a c-section scar. I had lipo done at the same time in my abdomen and inner thighs. Also let me mention the smart lipo they advertise as painess and you can do it during lunch and go back to work is bull***. It hurts like hell, they inject you with lidocaine, a big needle and they keep stabbing and stabbing because they have so many back to back surgeries that they can't afford to take their time to make the patient comfortable. I felt pain during the procedure and he didn't care, he contunued his conversation with the nurses. Anyway, the surgery was horrible and the scars were worse. Instead of a small c-section scar, I had a scar from one hip to the other as if I had a full tummy tuck! Plus it was asymmetrical, there was fat left in the left side. The bruising I had in my thighs was unbelievable, and they told me to buy one of their post surgery garments which hurt my thighs. After a months of wearing the garment as they recommended, I had an indentation in my right thigh that again they refused to do anything about. Another problem: my abdomen looked flatter after the lipo but I had 2 dimples above my belly button that looked so ugly. I expected a flat smooth stomach, instead I had ugly lumpy abs with dimples. I was still emarassed to wear a bikini. They told me to wait 6 months after the 2nd surgery. I went back after 6 months and Dr. Nees took pictures and said he would review the case and call me with his recommendations. He never called. I spoke to one of the managers who told me Dr. Nees had refused to do any more work on me, he said that my results were just the way my body healed and not due to any mistakes on his part. I was appalled! The unprofessionalism was so unexpected considering I work in the medical field. I found another surgeon who is willing to do the corrections and who did not agree that this was just the way my body healed. He told me Strax has the reputation of not expecting people to be satisfied. once they collected their money they don't care. I would never go back there again, I feel disrespected and disregarded. more

I had a Lap Band procedure done at Strax Rejuvenation with Dr. Choi in Lauderhill, FL about three months ago. The entire staff was very friendly and professional. Everything went smoothly from the Pre Op appointment to the surgery day to the Post Op appointment. I would definitely recommend Strax to anyone else. I had my smart lipo done 3 weeks ago in Strax Rejuvenation in Miami, Florida with Dr. Fisher and I am so happy with my new look. It's been 3 weeks and I have already lost 2 sizes and although I am still a bit swollen! My experience with Strax Rejuvenation was smooth since the beginning. They were very professional and Dr. Fisher works great! He took a look at my body and recommended to me the areas that needed smart lipo. He did smart lipo on all the areas around my abdominal area, butt, back, thighs, belly button area, and even upper back. I look and feel wonderful! I am healing great and I have lost so much volume in all these areas. I was unhappy with the way I looked and now I can wear clothes without having 2 tummys! I am from Germany and I am visiting very often Florida. I was planning to enlarge my breast this time ! I was looking for clinics in the Internet. i contacted them, but when I arrived i heard the radiospot from Strax. I called made appointment and 5 days later I had my surgery. I trusted 100%. Very good doctors, nice team, clean and fast. Good after surgery service. They really was beating any price..... like they say in the radio commercial. Now it is 5 weaks ago, I have no problems and I am very happy and feeling better. This was my christmas present. I recomend Stax. Sorry for writing problems.
