On Dec 2010, I had face lift by Strax Rejuvenation performed by Dr. Basilie and cost me several thousand dollars + several hundred for injection and other extra charges . After 6 months, when swelling settled down I noticed accumulation of skin under and above my eyes. I did not have this problem before. It causes my appearance to look tired and old. My family & friend ask me it is very bad and fix it. I waited a few months and hope it goes away and it did not. I decided to bring it to attention of Dr. Basilie on March 2011 and he agreed to the cause and asked me to wait another 2 months and lets see what happens. And I did; June 6, 2011, I saw the doctor again and I asked him to please take care of this damage as a result of surgery and he said "it can happen and there is no logical base"! That was a bit of surprise. Since I respected him, I stopped talking and thanks him. Instead I was asked to wait and an aid gave me a code of $4000.00 (regular price!). Then I decide to call and talk to owner a gentleman name Jeff and instead I was transferred to some other administration person name Mark Shriven (I am not sure of spelling). I described the issue and told him that I want to resolve this issue peacefully and willing to pay a portion of the cost. He told me that he needs a few days to investigate and get back to me and I told him that is fine. Then I did not hear from him. Today, June 22 I call and talk to him and he said not much can do about it and if I want to get it done, talk to their financial person to give me a price. I told him, because of the damage of about 6 months ago surgery this happened and needs to be taking care, but he did not want to cooperate. That was the end of it and I decided to submit this complains to BBB. Note that nobody want to go under knife, but in my case it is so bad and it is a bothering that I do not mind and willing to pay even a portion of the cost and expected a multimillion company like Strax to take care of the customer. Apparently they do not care about "customer satisfaction". I am willing to cover 20% of the cost, but they want to charge me full price.
