After soliciting several bids from local and national companies for replacement windows and doors for my townhome, I chose Stratton Exteriors. \r \r Shane Stratton was immediately responsive to my initial call and provided a quote that was clear, complete and competitive. It was clear from the beginning that he is a professional, a true “Ace” in an industry full of “jokers”\r \r Shane was communicative throughout the process and kept me apprised of all pertinent details. He personally supervises his installation crew and is engaged in the process from beginning to end. I could not be happier with the service and the product and will definitely use Stratton in the near future for other home improvement projects.\r \r I’m known among my friends to be demanding and meticulous and to have high standards. Job well done! 10/24/2010

I very happy with my deck restoration. I had new rails installed, power wash and stain. The deck never looked this good. It was a pleasure meeting Shane. He answer all my questions and offer options. I changed my mind a couple of times which was no problem. Shane and his crew are professionals and I would call them again.\r P.S. they even stained my crawl space door - what a treat! Professionalism from the get-go 10/18/2010

My wife and I couldn't be more pleased w/ Shane and his crew. We're trying to improve our first home, so we don't really have much experience w/ contractors. We paraded several through that we didn't feel comfortable w/ (we couldn't even get a solid estimate), so we had almost given up when we found Shane and Stratton Exteriors on the Web. I posted my information and Shane both emailed and called within 30 mins. After meeting w/ him and settling on the price and work to be done, we were able to replace our old 1-car carport w/ a new 2-car carport and old wrought iron columns on the front porch w/ new square columns - all within just a few wks. We couldn't be happier w/ the result and w/ Shane and his crew. Great Experience! 10/5/2010

Our project was the conversion of a former screened-in porch into a sunroom. Shane provided a competitive quote and came to our home several times to help us design our space. He had great ideas and creative solutions to issues we encountered throughout the project.\r \r Shane and his crew were extremely professional and pleasant to work with. We felt comfortable with them in our home when we were gone and they went out of their way to avoid any disturbances. Their work was high quality and the finished product exceeded our expectations. They also were flexible with any changes we requested and kept the work area clean.\r \r What distinguishes Stratton Exteriors and Shane from others with which we have worked is their professionalism. From our first meeting, Shane always made himself available and kept us apprised of the project's progress. He provided realistic expectations for the project's timeline and completed the work on time. Additionally, he is very knowledgeable of the products and the process.\r \r Overall, a great experience. We plan on using Stratton again for both interior and exterior work on our home. more

An Awesome Garage in Just One Month! 9/29/2010

Stratton Exteriors built us an awesome garage in a month. It is unheard of to get a contractor to complete a project within the promised time frame, but that is exactly what Shane Stratton did for us. We wanted a double car garage with an upstairs storage area. We explained what we wanted to Shane and he produced just what we asked for. Shane kept us in the loop every step of the process. He sent emails outlining exactly what would happen next. We knew when workers would be there and what they likely would accomplish on that day. He promptly returned phone calls and addressed all our concerns. He came to our home often to insure that the work was done correctly and that we were happy. The garage is attached to our home and is massive, but does not stick out like a sore thumb. It blends in with our home so well that a neighbor remarked that it looked like part of the original structure. All the individuals who participated in the creation of this structure were hand picked by Shane and were professional yet friendly. The finishing touches are being completed today. I have no doubt that Shane will have the new garage spotlessly cleaned up and turned over to us tomorrow as promised. This has been the most painless construction project we have ever had done. We can highly recommend Stratton Exteriors! more

Truly Excellent Work and Service 9/2/2010

We had Stratton add a custom built patio cover for our house. It was important for us that the patio look original to the house and they absolutely over-delivered. The attention to detail was fantastic and we couldn't be happier. His work crew also cleaned up every night and did not make a mess. I would recommend them to anyone I know who wants high-quality exterior work done on their house. more

AMAZING COMPANY 6/25/2010

After the May flood - we couldn' t have found a better company or person to not only do an excellent job, but to make us feel like our house was once again going to be ok. Shane Stratton knows how to get things done and will communicate with you every step of the way which was extremely comforting. We are having a new roof, new siding, new gutters and also the wood that was damaged in the storm replaced and I can't wait to see the finished product! The roof is absolutely gorgeous! Jobs that Shane wasn't able to do he gave very good referrals and we are using them as well. It was nice to have one point person who could handle everything that we needed! Wonderful, Professional and Reliable 4/24/2010

My sister and I decided that we wanted a sunroom for our home, and we were referred to Stratton Exteriors. When we first met Shane Stratton, the first impression was great! Shane explained in detail what he would have his workers do, and they did exactly that. What I like most about the experience is that Shane stands by his work. If there was any issues concerning the room, once it was completed, he immediately responded when I called. Shane was always easy to get in contact with and wonderful to work with. The workers that he had were great also. They were friendly, and showed up to work on the room when they said they would. We have a beautiful room addition to our home. I would highly recommend Stratton Exteriors to anyone looking for good dependable work to be done. Great lookin' gutters! 4/15/2010

My gutters were in serious need of replacement and Shane came out right away and gave an estimate that same night. The gutters were installed the following week and they look great! Plus, the crew made sure to replace any damaged wood that was underneath the gutters. Will definitely use Stratton Exteriors again when it comes time to install a new roof. Excellent and Timely Service 4/3/2010

We got three different estimates and Stratton's seemed to be the most reasonably priced and cover all the services that we needed. They painted the whole interior of our house, including some outside work on the porches. They were timely and responsive and finished the job in about a week. Would use them again. Quality workmanship and customer care 12/22/2009

Shane was great to work with. He was patient with our questions and planning and made many good recommendations that contributed to a highly successful job. We put insulated vinyl siding, stone and cedar on the exterior of the house and it turned out great. Both the quality of the products and the installation were exceptional. His crews were professional and took pride in their work which is key to getting a quality job. When they were done, they cleaned up the job site as if they lived there. He also has contacts for other trades in the construction business and we found all of his recommendations to be high quality people. Shane was easy to contact during the work and always responded in a timely manner. They did everything they said they would do and even finished ahead of schedule. Shane is a true professional who cares about his work and his customers. I recommend him without hesitation and will call him when we get ready to do the next phase of our home improvement.
