Worst

I would strongly recommend not using Storage Masters, even if there price is a little lower than competitors. We rented a unit for them for a year while we were out of the country...

Easy, Convenient, friendly, reasonable, responsive, clean, helpful. The manager was a great help and easy to work with, the units are clean and the property is well maintained. The prices are extremely competitive and cheaper than the nearby storage units. I highly recommend this facility. more

The company's proprietor -- Billy Porter -- was efficient and personable, but above all genuine -- reflecting well upon Storage Masters itself - a secret gem tucked off of E. Florida & Leetsdale not only had the lowest rate for the unit size I wanted, but they set me up with a free lock, 1/2 off my opening rent -- meanwhile this place has 24hr surveillance, (coded) locked gate, and both interior & exterior units. Great renting experience (so far....) more

Denver Storage Masters is one of the most friendly storage I have been to. I called the day before I needed one and they taken my order and had it ready when I pulled in. When I inspected the unit and said I will take it, they told my help that they could start unloading the truck, the trailer and SUV, while I taking care of the paper work. :). Then Angela giving me a free lock and key to keep, no admin fee and water for the crew. The most important was the outstanding customer service, then the low price. I went into Storage Masters to inquire about pricing. I was so impressed with their customer service that I signed up for a unit right away. I was really stressed about finding a place to put my stuff, but after my interactions with Brian I was in such a better mood about the whole thing. (Also, did I mention they have a FREE truck that you can use to move your stuff?!) SCORE!\r \r Bottom line their prices are reasonable and best thing of it all the customer service was amazing ( You don't find that too often). \r \r BRIAN WAS GREAT AND A PEACH TO WORK WITH!!!!!!!! :) more

The customer service has blown me away!! Everything in my stressful move was made better by the efficiency and courtesy of the staff at Storage Masters. I spent a lot of time researching storage units around the Denver/Metro area. ALL of them were more expensive than Storage Masters Denver. Plus, Storage Masters had a better promotional deal. \r The entire process was pleasant. The Manager, Sharlene, went out of her way to help make the experience of renting the unit easy and convenient. Apparently, this facility has been in business for many years. There is one thing I wish they had more of though - lighting after dark. But for the price, it's not that big of a deal. I can plug in my extension cord around the corner and I have plenty of light to see in the unit. I also have a couple press-on lights that run on batteries. \r So, I am happy I found this place! more

I've been pretty happy with my experience at Storage Masters.\r Pros- \r -clean and well maintained\r -competative prices\r -friendly, helpful staff\r - free lock is nice, plus they give you a keychain with your gate code on it- no more searching for a card in your wallet\r - aisles between units are plenty big and easy to make turns even with a big moving truck.\r \r Cons-\r -far away- I reserved before i moved to Colorado, and it's much further from the city center of Denver than I realized\r -Air Freshener overload in the office! I had to keep stepping out and covering my face during initial set up, b/c it was so strong. A lot of people are chemically sensitive and there is just no reason to have these- they are endocrine disrupters and cause cancer! An office isn't a smelly place and so needs no masking of odors.\r - I try to live naturally and am not crazy about the use of rat poison in the units, knowing i will be bringing these boxes into my home at some point.\r \r All in all, I'm happy with my choice and would recommend them to a friend. more

We rented a unit over last weekend and had great experience with whole renting and moving in experience. Originally we came in with idea of renting size unit, but after careful choosing and ability to look over few units we made a decision to go with larger size. We spend some time making a decision and were not rushed into doing that. That was great. Truck which was available for move in was great. Had everything what need it to complete the move. We would suggest this place to family and friends. more

Never Rent Here!!! Worst experience of my life!\r \r They are liars and thieves. I rented the unit using the ""free month"" but in order to get that month free you have to pay for 2 months (which i did). However, the guy conveniently was unable to show me the unit until after the contract was signed. Then he told us the "free" truck we had reserved wasn't actually available (even though it was just sitting in the lot). So we had to go get our own truck and bring everything to the unit (because he needed 3-4 hours to clean it) and the unit was SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than advertised. So I told him it wouldn't work, and he said he would take care of everything. It took 6 months to finally get an answer from someone, after I never received my refund, and i was told ""Sorry, you signed the contract...No refunds"" more

Inexpensive, Fast, and Reliable Denver Self Storage 2/15/2011

I had never used a self storage unit before and I found myself needing to store a large amount of stuff very quickly without breaking my bank account. Storage Masters is close to where I live and when I went to check it out they informed me that I could get an inexpensive unit and free moving truck the very next day. I also got 50% off my first and second month's rent which was great because I only needed the unit for 6 months. When I returned, all my things were in the same condition I left them, and the unit remained clean and secured. I highly recommend Storage Masters. more

They provided a free move-in truck, which was very convenient.The move-in truck deal was much less expensive that traditional rental truck companies and Storage Masters also provided us with the blankets and furniture dolly we needed. They also give you 10 miles for free, perfect if you live close by. Originally we underestimated how large a storage unit we needed and the staff assured us that the problem could easily be resolved. They gave us a free first month upgrade to the larger unit and assured us that there were no extra hidden charges and fees. Along with this, they also do not charge an administration or deposit fee for any size unit. Our unit is very spacious and always clean and climate controlled. Storage Masters are definitely top of the list for savings, security, and service. Their staff was very polite and respectful, answering all of my questions. Great Prices and Service 2/15/2011

I have been using Storage Masters for over a year with no problems and no rising bills. Their prices and deals are superior; they even gave me 50% off the 1st and 2nd month?s rent. The storage units are well kept, clean, and climate controlled. The staff was also very impressive, providing me with all the details I needed to know and answering all my security questions. I am always worried about hidden fees popping up that I was never informed of, but Storage Masters was completely upfront with me guaranteeing that there were no deposit fees, administration fees or hidden charges. They have proven true to their word and my bill is the same low price every time. I highly recommend Storage Masters. more

Best Self Storage in Denver 2/15/2011

I highly recommend Storage Masters. Terrible customer service 12/24/2008

I would strongly recommend not using Storage Masters, even if there price is a little lower than competitors. We rented a unit for them for a year while we were out of the country and when we returned it was clear that at least a foot of standing water had damaged our property. We were told by management that there was a flash flood in August and that lots of units had damage but they weren't responsible. While they are not indeed responsible for acts of nature they could have at least called us and notified us of the situation when it happened and not let our stuff sit in water for three months till we discovered it. As it is they have expressed no remorse at all and provided terrible customer service. Also, though we had insurance, flood damage is not usually covered in Colorado unless you specifically make sure you have it. The whole experience is a nightmare and we paid $91 a month to have our stuff ruined with no compensation at all. Cons: units that easily let in water, management that is irresponsible more
