Worst

I am terrified of the dentist, but I had a cavity and finally had to find a dentist. I liked the thought of sedation dentistry, so I made an appointment. They got me in right away...

Avoid 12/17/2012

Every time I come, begrudgingly, to stonecreek for a cleaning, I am ALWAYS told that I need fillings for "minor cavities" in which the bill is several hundred dollars, and that's if you dodge all of their offers to use new forms of dental torture that aren't covered by your insurance. I brush two to three times a day an floss everyday, yet my teeth are, amazingly, riddled with cavities. One instance I was seen by a young dentist whom couldn't be bothered to read a single thing from my file and instead had to hammer me with questions. The best one was when I was told I needed to have my wisdom teeth out. When I told him they'd been out for over a year, he asked "Are you sure?" Hahaha what. I intend to post this on every review site. Avoid this practice. more

I wish I could give 0 stars. DO NOT GO HERE! They push services on people that they don't need. They will do xrays every other visit and tell you that you have 'minor cavities' that need to be filled. Do some more research other than just my review, there are A LOT of people claiming this about them. Find somewhere else to go. more

Great Office for kids & no waiting! 6/30/2011

This office is the BEST. I really like how if you appointment is at 2pm, you go back at 2pm & they get right to work. Their waiting room is beautiful luckily I wasn't it it for long. I have 2 kids & they worked great with each of them. They really do a great job with kids! more

Beware and look at the dates on positive postings 6/5/2011

Hey everyone, take a careful look at the dates on the postings at the top of the page. The dates are either the same or very close together. They're trying to push the bad reviews to the bottom. They will tell you that you have cavities when you actually don't. If they want to fill your teeth tell them no and I'd suggest going to another dentist on your next 6 month cleaning and get another opinion. Me, my dad, and my brother who went to the Pickerington and Chillicothe locations all quit going because they LIE LIE LIE about fillings. I don't know how these people sleep at night. more

Understood 4/2/2011

My broken crown was five years old, the warranty on crowns is three years. Because the crown was still relatively new Dr. Biehle agreed to accept only what insurance would cover for a new crown which was a HUGE comfort, it removed the stress re: cost. I have a history of dental problems so costs have been very difficult. The removal of the old crown went well, the temporary stayed in the whole time, and the placement of the new crown was flawless. An excellent experience start to finish. While in the chair I mentioned I had been having some sensitivity in another molar and was prepared to schedule another appointment but Dr. Biehle took the time to look at that molar, diagnose the problem, and a treatment plan was put in place. I Highly Recommend 4/2/2011

We've lived in several US cities due to job transfers, and every time we relocate we ask several people for recommendations on top dentists in the new area. That's how we were introduced to Dr Biehle, Dr. Sanders and their team at Stonecreek in Pickerington. Dr. Biehle is now our family's regular dentist, but we have also been treated by Dr Sanders when Dr Biehle was on vacation. They are both extremely professional, informative, caring and friendly, and most importantly - they really know what they are doing. When they discover an issue, they explain it, the cause, treatment options and preventative measures. When they perform a procedure, their skill and expertise is obvious. They are thorough, and make an effort to ensure my comfort. Their office is very attractive and they have the latest equipment. They do a great job of sticking to appointment times. Fantastic Service & Dentistry 3/23/2011

I consider myself to have high standards of service...Stonecreek Dental Care exceeded my expectations. The staff members are courteous are polite. My appointments have always been prompt - right on time! ...and I feel like they care for me personally. Dr. Biehle makes me feel 100% comfortable. I never feel rushed out of the chair....she makes sure that I understand the condition of my teeth. I would highly recommend this dental practice! more

New Attitude, New Smile :) 3/16/2011

I used to be terrified of the dentist. That all changed the second I walked into Stonecreek's office 10 years ago. I was referred by a friend after some previous unpleasant experiences at a different practice. The staff is very friendly, knowledgable, and professional. Their work is always thorough and they explain everything in great detail to make sure I understand my oral hygiene and ways I can maintain a healthy smile. I also highly recommend sedation dentistry for major procedures! It made extractions and rootcanals a breeze. \r \r I never used to have the best smile in the world. But after a few pain-free procedures, I feel like a completely different person. No longer do my gums bleed when I brush or floss. No longer do I have toothaches on the regular. No longer am I embarrassed to smile or laugh in public....Stonecreek has completely changed my life around. I feel like a new woman--gleaming and confident. I'm so blessed to have such a great dentist. more

Highly Recommended! 3/15/2011

I have been a patient of Dr. Biehle's since 2007. \r \r I cannot agree with any of the negative postings.\r The staff is great! Very friendly and caring. \r They've also been more than accommodating with my less than accommodating schedule. \r \r Thank you for being a great place for the people that are terribly afraid of the dentist to go!! more

Great Service 3/14/2011

I have been visiting Stonecreek for all of my dental needs for approximately 5 years and have been extremely pleased with the service. They have a great location, with wonderful staff. I always manage to get an appt when I need to get in and while dentists make me a little nervous, I'm always comfortable at Stonecreek. Additionally, they have twice fitted me for bite devices for my TMJD and have made adjustments so my pain is minimal. Overall a great experience. more

Don't treat people with kindness 3/7/2011

I am terrified of the dentist, but I had a cavity and finally had to find a dentist. I liked the thought of sedation dentistry, so I made an appointment. They got me in right away and told me I had some cavities ready for fillings and needed 2 root canals and 2 crowns. I agreed to it as long as I could be sedated. It went well and when I returned to get my crowns put on they seemed to forget that I was terrified. I was put in the chair and told to open my mouth and the hygenist tried to pry off my temp crown. It hurt, I told her but it didn't matter. I finally told her to stop and was going to leave. She got the dentist and she said I had an infection under the crown. I got antibiotics and was told to come back in 10 days. I forced myself to go back because they didn't after my initial sedation, they didn't care to treat me with kindness. I didn't lose my fear with my teeth! They were awful and it was sit down and shut up. Never again, and my family will never go back more

Beware 12/1/2010

Looking for new dentist! Used to be a good reputable place. If you are covered by insurance...watch out for the extras. I know 5 people who go here. 5 out of 5 were advised to get their wisdom teeth pulled at each visit in 2009. Now in 2010 4 of the 5 including myself are being pushed to have a $1500 periodontal procedure (cleaning of gums) completed. Rather than focus on the basics of good dentistry this office has now become one that pushes the revenue generating procedures. The periodontal process comes along with a push for them selling you vitamins, special mouth wash, etc. And you will not see another basic cleaning. The expectation is that once a year you get the $1500 gum cleaning rather than the typical cleaning. It's all about the cashflow now unfortunately. Its all about the money here!!! more

RIP OFF 8/5/2010

HORRIBLE!! Unfortunately, I went to this place for invisalign and seen the dentist one time in the 8 months that I have been going to this place. My teeth are not doing so well and they have been PAID IN FULL. No one can ever answer your questions and appointments are changed w/ no notice to you. I am on my final tray and questioned about the retainer -- another charge, although I was told it was included in the $4,800 cost. \r \r One day I decided to go ahead and get my teeth cleaned one day since I was there anyway. They took xrays and told me that I had gum disease. They couldn't clean it that day, but would need me to schedule a "deep cleaning" for a three series set. Even the dentist questioned why they weren't going to do a cleaning that day and he was immediately told about the "deep cleaning"......I bet there was a wink between them. Anyway, I declined and left. But not without a $149 bill that they wanted up front b/c they knew my insurance wouldn't pay for that crap. [T more

Nickel and dimed 7/30/2010

I took my family to Stonecreek Dental. Very happy at first, then every visit something else "needed" work. They tried to convince my husband, who has never had a cavity and still has his wisdom teeth that he needed to get them taken out. He has never had issues. Then, they took xrays of my daughters teeth more than they were suppose to. My insurance wouldn't keep paying for the xrays. The office wants me to pay $500 for the extra set of xrays taken. more

Lies about cavities and need for fillings 3/4/2010

I went to Stonecreek back when it was Dr. Long's office and when I moved to Pickerington, I started going to this location. I didn't have a cavity until I was in my early 20's, and now in my 30's I have been told that I need to have teeth filled for "small cavities" at EVERY VISIT. I go twice a year. I thought I was getting older and my teeth were not in good shape, so I listened to them. They are dentist after all! Well, my insurance eventually stopped covering all of these fillings and they wanted to charge me $480 to have two cavities taken care of. So I went to another dentist recommended by a friend. After having a cleaning and more xrays, under my new insurance that kicked in for January, I was told that I had NO CAVITIES. None. Zero. And Stonecreek wanted to charge me for two fillings. I called my dad, who used to go to the other location, and he said he quit going there for the same reason... every visit, more cavities. He went to a new dentist, and suddenly he had no cavities more

Wonderful dentist! 3/22/2006

I used to hate going to the dentist. But, once I found this dentist I actually look forward to my visits every 6 months. J. Clarke Sanders, D.D.S. started solo in this practice but has since added 2 other dentists. When you go for your appointment you get a paraffin hand treatment, a massage chair, and you can either watch whatever channel on the TV you want or a DVD from their library. I mean, what else could you want from a dentist (except no bill)? I am a patient of Dr. Sanders and he is one of the truly best people I know. No matter what he is doing if I need him he gives me the time that I need. I highly recommend this practice! PROS: Paraffin hand treatment, massage chair, TV and a cute dentist CONS: None that I have found so far and I have been going there for 11 years more
