I would leave ZERO stars if I could! This jeweler, while capable, has too many personal issues going on to be great, not to mention his shifty business practices leave a bad taste in my mouth! I went in last year to have my grandmother's wedding set cut off and re-sized and Tim & Angie have lost the set, he's now claiming I took them, never gave me a receipt for proof of leaving my jewelry there, nothing! GONE! Now to add insult to injury, Tim set my great-great grandmother's .55 carat diamond on my great-grandmother's wedding band with a six-prong Tiffany setting and it sheared off! In less than six months! And with very little wear! I just got it from him at Christmas & have only worn it a few times! When I approached him regarding my loss he claimed our hands go through a lot! I rarely wore the ring! RARELY! He ruined the band by using the wrong mix on the re-size I requested, he also pitted the gold in the entire band. When my husband mentioned it, it was followed by excuses! My husband left the store at Christmas not knowing I had other rings still there! I believe he melted my grandmother's wedding set and wont take responsibility! How easy it must be to call yourself a jeweler because you have some equipment! I am disgusted & sick! His communication skills are lacking as well! He is not reputable or he would replace the diamond. If he were reputable he would definitely provide paperwork for pieces of jewelry and document everything that comes into or goes out from his store! I have reported him to the Twin City Chamber of Commerce, BBB, and the local sheriff's department! more

We have been doing business at Stoll's Custom Jewelers for a number of years now. We have been more than completely satisfied in quality, price and service. Tim is a wonderful Man. \r \r Unfortunately I lost my grandparents last year and they had a lot of jewelry locked away in a safe deposit box. I had no idea what to do with these expensive jewels.\r I took them to Tim and he sat down with us,examined and tested our pieces. I did not personally like my grandparents style but also wanted to put these jewels to good use.\r I asked Tim 'what can I do with these?' He suggested I use some of the diamonds and gold for myself. He explained the carving and casting of gold. I LOVED the idea of my grandparents jewelry being Custom carved into my own designs! \r \r Needless to say, I have 2 new rings{for myself}, rings for both of my daughters and a pendant for my son. We are so pleased and have such a 'treasured' feeling knowing I have captured my grandparents's treasures into family heirlooms, even more precious being shared by my family. Thank you Tim, you are a wonderful jeweler, friend and person!\r \r This is an excellent choice of Jewelry Stores and Jeweler. All work is done by Tim himself. He carves from wax! It is an amazing process.\r \r I looked at several pieces of jewelry in the case. They are UNIQUE designs at EXCELLENT prices.\r \r So grateful to have found this Jeweler! more

We have been using Tim Stoll, of Stoll's Custom Jewelers for years. He excels in originality and Quality. His prices are so low both on repairs and new pieces of jewelry. My wife brought in a bracelet with one simple request...fix a broken clasp. After being told ten times they don't normally work on sterling silver, they said they would be happy to fix it. They didn't have the replacement clasp in stock, and ordering it would take about a week. Two weeks later we stopped by and went through the whole process again...they didn't have the part, would have to order it, they don't normally work on sterling, etc. We should have walked then, but gave them another chance...and another...and another. Six weeks later we have received no phone call, no update, no bracelet. I'm willing to let them keep the money we paid upfront, just to get the bracelet back...and avoid being treated in such a condescending manner. OMG! My husband had this TRUE Custom Jeweler named Tim, design and hand carve from wax my wedding set. It is the most gorgeous ring I have ever seen, not because it is mine, but it is a really nice, substantial, unique ring.\r \r My Fiance, now husband went to Tim to pick my wedding bands up. OMG! again! Tim had hand carved my bands to fit PERFECTLY together. The diamonds are all the HIGHEST QUALITY!\r \r I took my set to a jewelry store in west county for an appraisal. My appraisal came up to be 3 times the amount we paid for the set! :)\r Another fine asste from Tim at Stoll's. \r \r Tim and Angie are always in the store....if not, you can catch them on their cell. They are a great team. Angie watched the store while Tim took my husband and I thru the process.\r \r The process is quite complicated. Tim starts with a piece of wax and a sketch. He also makes unique colors of gold...pink, red and green. He makes his pieces out of whatever kt gold you want, whatever color and design. \r \r Anyway, he took us to the bench, showed and explained the tools and carving process....then he casts the wax, this goes into an oven he has in the back room. He then bakes ? then makes the gold in the form he hand carved...sets the stones, polishes and cleans the piece.\r \r The reason i say he is the REAL CUSTOM JEWELER is because there is not another store that we went to that actually CREATE a piece. They might say they do, but they don't. No one had the equiptment.\r \r My rings are awesome and this Jeweler, Tim Stoll is very honest and as you can see from my appraisal his prices are more than reasonable!\r \r GO TO STOLL's for HONEST, QUALITY and LOW PRICES for a piece that you maybe just dreamt about.
