First experience took 3 visits spanning two months 10/30/2015

I'm pleased with the staff and overall service on my last visit. However, I wasn't too happy about going to the dealership 3 times to have my steering wheel column replaced (warranty). My first service experience took 3 visits spanning two months. There is definitely more room for improvement. I would suggest opening on Sundays for starters. more

so-so service this last time 10/29/2015

I made the appt for 10:15 on a Saturday for regular 15k service and did not get my car back until 5:00. I left four messages throughout the day trying to retrieve my car or find out what time it might be ready and never received a call back. I called twice and got through, spoke to the young woman and was left on hold for more than 10 minutes each time with no Service Tech picking up the call. When I finally did speak with someone, he stated my car had been ready for awhile. When I (and thank you for the shuttle service) retrieved my car, the young woman told me that they had over 40+ cars to service that day. The quality of what is usually great service suffered greatly that day!! Having to wait all day to get car, vacuuming was done very poorly, car wash was below par, and they forgot the window sticker for next service reminder. So disappointed in this visit. more

No service 10/26/2015

My car has been at the dealership for 3.5 months and to my knowledge has still not been repaired. Last update I had was that they were reaching out to Hyundai support because they couldn't get car to start after engine repair. That was about 2 weeks ago. No update since. This place is terrible. They still have my car but I just got an invite to review the service I apparently received on the 22nd. Do not take car here for the engine recall. more

Service center has gone down hill 10/23/2015

Last visit review and time log. When scheduled and listing all service i wanted, was told 2 hours. Scheduled appointment (8am) and showed up 20 minutes early (7:40am). At that time was told the service will take 4 hours (12pm). Twice as long as the quote when scheduling. After 1 hour (9am) seen my car was not being worked on and asked about it. At that time I was told it was next and it will be ready in 5 hours from my scheduled appointment (1pm). Took my pre-paid rental car and came back after 5 1/2 hours from appointment (1:30PM). Car still not ready. Car ended up being ready at (2:20 pm) roughly. Total time for my 2 hour visit was 6 hours and 20 minutes. What was the point of scheduling an appointment if the service center is overbooked? Also, complained a smell from the Air conditioner multiple times since i bought the car. This time around was sold a "odor be gone" service @ $103. For someone who has prepaid for maintenance at a much higher price tag, I would have thought this would be included. Not sure if this service even realy fixed the problem or just masked it temporarily. Waiting a few months to judge. Overall very dissatisfied with my last visit. The only reason i will be back to the dealership is because i pre-paid for the visits. If this keeps up I will not visit after my pre-paid maintenance ends and will never visit the dealership again. more

Waste of an entire day 9/26/2015

I have been going here for service since my 2011 Elantra, but this visit will be my last. I went in for the 15,000 mile service and to check the tire pressure light at 10:45am. I was told the car would be ready around 2pm and took their shuttle service to wait at a cafe. I called them around 2:45pm because I had not received any phone calls or updates on my car. The adviser Bill called me back at 3pm to say that my car was done and that he'll send the shuttle driver over. I waited 45minutes with no phone calls or communication from anyone. Finally I called again at 3:45pm, asking about the shuttle. The lady who answered put me on hold and then told me that the shuttle driver was on his way. I told her that Bill had said he'll send someone at 3pm, and I had been waiting for 45 minutes. She didn't apologize - just repeated that he was on his way. The driver Marcos got me around 4pm, and I asked him if he had a lot of pickups and dropoffs. He said "No, not really." I told him about my long wait, and he at least apologized, saying that the office was busy and didn't notify him. When I got to the dealership, there were several people in the office and no customers - not that busy. Bill didn't apologize for the delay or ask how I was doing at all. In addition, I saw the lady calling another customer to tell them that their car was done and would be washed and ready for pickup in 20 minutes. Why didn't I receive any calls like that? I should have gotten such a call when my car was done, so that I could have time to catch the shuttle back while my car was being washed and not waste any time. When I got my car, the tire pressure light was still on, so it took another 10 minutes of milling around outside while Bill took my car back and figured out that it would turn off after I drove a few miles. The fact that I wasted almost 6 hours of my day for routine maintenance, most of which was preventable with a competent office staff, is ridiculous. I used to come here all the way from East Bay because I liked the service on my previous visits, but now I'll be going elsewhere. more

After my first "courtesy" car service for buying a new Hyundai, I'm glad that I did not purchase the 5 yr car maintenance plan. I will never go back to this dealer for any service even if it was free. more

Don't do what is promised 9/11/2015

They take forever to do the work, then when it comes back you're not sure if it was even done correctly or not. I took my 2014 Sonata in for the 15k service. I also had a tire leaking air. It took them 5-6 hours to get the work done. Upon pickup, I noticed the technician didn't talk about the leak. I had to ask him if he fixed the leak. He said the person working on the car didn't see any issues with the tire. I told him I have been losing air and receiving the warning light every week consistently for the past month! When he looked at the tires, the head of a huge silver nail was staring right at us! He apologized and took it to be repaired. I had to wait an additional half hour for that to be fixed. Also, my car didn't get washed. When I told them to do it, they took my car and just sprayed it down. It was soaking wet and dirtier than when I brought it in! Very poor service quality although their technicians are friendly. Doesn't help when you can't get the services you need done!! more

Great Service Manager 9/10/2015

Took car in initially for oil change, but since mileage was close to 45,000, Eric explained that it would be beneficial to do the 45,000 maintenance and Hyundai would provide a rental car. This probably saved me from spending more time in the long run had I had to go back within the month for the maintenance check. more

Stop lying to your customers. 9/5/2015

I get an appointment for 7:30 am in the morning. The lady asked me do you want a shuttle? I said yes. Then she scheduled me for a shuttle. When I get there, they said shuttle wont be available til 8:30 am. Then adviser told me: your recall only take 20 min and our tech guy comes at 8:00 am so I'm going to ask him to work on your car so you can leave by 8:20 am. then I said okay and went to waiting room. Around 8:15 am, shuttle came and took some other customers, I decided to stay because they told me my car would be ready by 8:20 am. I wait til 8:30 and went to the adviser and ask him is my car ready? he replied " they just pull out your car and they are working on it." I said so another 20 min? he said yes. I walked out from service room and I saw my car was parked in the same place that it was at 7:30 am. So the adviser lied to me because they didn't even moved my car and he told me they are "working on it right now". waiting for another 40 min and I got my car by 9:20. While I was signings the paper, another adviser says I'm sorry Mr.** for today, but our shuttle got into the accident ( second lie, because I saw him took other customers but I just didn't go with him since they told me my car was going to be ready by 8:20 ). My advice to your ADVISERS is to stop lying. People are not stupid. People hates lies and hate the person lie to them. So I really lost my respect for the your service. I don't see any reason to someone lie to me or to any other person. I rather pay more to the crappy old rusty place who have manners and honesty to fix my car than pay nothing in fancy place with no manners and being lied to. more

Frustrating 9/3/2015

Took twice as long as promised and no one ever informed me while I was waiting. Car came back dirty with grease and smudge marks all over the car, inside and out. Never explained what service was performed. more
