MY SALES REP JAMES WEST, WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO SEE THAT I RECIEVED THE BEST POSSIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. HE LISTENED TO WHAT I WANTED. I ORIGINALLY WANTED A 2 DR, BUT WHEN HE REALIZED I HAD A 18MO OLD LITTLE GIRL, HE SUGGESTED I GO WITH A 4 DR. I AM SO HAPPY WITH MY DECISION. ALSO, MARK COUCH, HANDLED ALL MY PAPERWORK, AND HE WAS TRULY A PROFESSIONAL. HE WENT OVER ALL THE WARRANTY DETAILS, AND SHOWED HOW HE COULD KEEP ME AND MY VEHICLE PROTECTED FOR YEARS TO COME. I WILL DEFINATELY BUY MY NEXT VEHICLE FROM STEVE WHITE MOTORS OF HICKORY. more

Terrible Experience 1/16/2011

My husband had to take his 2008 Dodge van to the dealership for a key issue that must be fixed by a dealership. (amazing how a 3 yr old vehicle has this issue and its not something a consumer can fix themselves) He was quoted around $420.00 and told by the repair dept his van could be picked up the next day. When he went to get his van, it was not ready and said they would have it ready the next day. Needless to say he missed 2 days of work. When he went to pick it up, the price had suddenly changed to $535. My husband said ""thats not what you quoted me"". The guy said ""let me see what I can do""...got it down to $425.99, without consulting anyone (odd how he magically did that one). When my husband got to work he realized his license plates were not on his van!! Went back to the dealership where they were stolen, and they said it wasn't their problem. My husband asked if there were surveillance cameras? They have a security guard that's it. He should be fired, for allowing someone to waltz onto the lot and steal plates. All in all, bad experience, place is a joke. more

Your overall satisfaction level with the car buying experience often comes down to the individual sales rep you are working with. Jerry H. at Steve White Motors certainly made this transaction the most enjoyable for me and my family. Jerry H. is genuine, knowledgeable, honest, courteous, and a very professional person. I was fairly particular with this purchase and had a lot of specific questions about my vehicle. Jerry and his manager, Bush, worked diligently to answer ALL (there were a lot!) of my questions in a very timely manner. They even took great care of requests I had after the sale! I travelled out to Hickory from Raleigh to pick up my Jeep, and it was well worth the trip. They offered to deliver it to my house, but I like to drive! :) Steve White Motors gave me a good price on the vehicle & streamlined the buying process, but it's the quality of the overall sales experience that has me highly recommending Jerry H. & Steve White Motors more

A Nice Experience: My experience while lenghty was none the less a good one. About two weeks ago while I was out of town, my wife drove to this dealership and was greeted with sales personnel (Chris) who were very helpful and knowledgable. She traded in her 1997 Cadallic Deville for a 2006 Chrysler 300C series. And while I would have rather she waited until my return, they treated her professionally and with respect. Today, two weeks later, I traded in my 1998 Spyder Eclipse for a 2005 Chrysler Sebring Convertible. Again, it was a bit lenghty (the time from start to finish) but I feel I achieve a reasonable good deal and the dealership manager made whatever adjustments necessary to make sure I was satisfied with the purchase I wanted an not take some vehicle that they wanted moved from inventory. more
