Make-Up Instruction 12/19/2011

Growing up a VT girl I was never into make-up and when I tried to wear it, it never looked right. My skin has been changing lately and I wanted to learn how to have natural make-up. Marjoie (sp?) was very helpful and made me feel very comfortable. She showed me step by step how to apply the make-up to make it look natural. I felt confident after her help and now the darkness under my eyes is hidden. more

Facial with Ewa 12/18/2011

Over the last seven years, I have received 2-3 facials per year at Stephen and Burns. The first facial I received was with Ewa, and I have been requesting her for my spa appointments ever since. Ewa is extremely knowledgeable about skin care. She is always so helpful in discussing a skin care routine that works for me and provides helpful product recommendations. Her spa services are always so relaxing and I leave feeling beautiful and rejuvenated. As long as Ewa is employed with Stephen and Burns I will always routine. First Time Customer 12/12/2011

Warm and Welcoming. I was booked for a wash and haircut with 'YEN, who was recommended to me by a dear friend. I do not live in Burlington but 60 miles away from the area, and, had not had my hair cut for over a year, due to a very bad experience I had with a local hairdresser where I live. 'YEN' listened attentively, and then went to work with her magic scissors. She finished the cut with a razor's edge adding shape around my face. I liked the experience so much, I will be going back for color and hi-lights next week. Many thanks. YEN. Overall, a very nice experience. more

There was very little waiting, people were friendly and Stacy fave me a great haircut and advice about color for next time. I really like it when I can ask a stylist what they think will work rather then me reeling them what I want. more

I was promptly scheduled in for an appointment which fit my schedule. The person who took my call listened attentively to my needs to figure out the best person for me. The greeting at the salon was friendly and I was given a warm cup of tea on a cold morning. My hair was cut and styled beautifully. The ambiance of the salon is lovely. more

I always enjoy my visit at Stephen and Burns. Christine always greets me with a smile and a hello. She knows my name which makes me feel welcome. Liz has been cutting my hair for 3 years now and I would never go anywhere else. Everyone is very professional, and I look forward to my relaxing experience at S&B every appointment. Disappointed 11/30/2011

Unfortunately my hair cut was not Satisfactory. What I thought may have been a styling issue turned out to be a cutting technique problem. I wanted long layers and ended up with more of a mullet style. Very disappointed and do not believe I will return. Sorry! more

Great new hair style and hi and low lights! 11/27/2011

Lindsay did a fantastic job of consulting with me to determine the best hairstyle for the shape of my face. I love the hi and low lights too. Very pleased and am definitely returning for my future hair cuts. Great deal on Aveda products too! more
