The tapas here are all pretty good, and the sangria is much better than most alleged ""tapas"" bars here in town. It is a nice place, slightly utilitarian for the area. more

Two New Yorker Thumbs UP!! 7/14/2005

You can't beat our hometown, NYC, for great food. This stylish, friendly Phoenix tapas place would give many of our best wine bars a run for their money. We were a group of 6 women - the attitude was positive, each tapa more delicious than the last, the wines well-chosen, and the bang for the buck UNBEATABLE ($28 a head for us with 8 shared dishes and 2 drinks each). P.S., we weren't even aware that Ibiza Cafe is a gay-friendly spot (mixed & cool crowd) and while that wasn't our goal, it was definitely the icing on top for our happy group of cupcakes. Tasty Sangria and Sumptuous Tapas 2/7/2004

We came in on a Tuesday evening and got 3 for 1 Sangrias - very refreshing, but was a little over the top for me. The tapas were quite tasty. My girlfriend and I enjoyed the experience very much. This restaurant is wonderful! The interior is chic, fun and unpretentious, the service is friendly, knowledgable and considerate, and the food...wow the food. Whether you order a selection of tapas or one of their great entrees you can't miss. The lettuce wraps, boreks, and bruchetta are a must try. Don't miss the tangines, the deliciously flavorful sandwiches, and the pesto fettucine with yellow bell peppers. And even if your full, don't skip dessert. The date spice cake is amazing. Tapas + sangria + friends + FUN! 12/25/2002

Cozy, stylish and fun. The food is awesome, the service relaxed. Pricing is much better for your value than most restaurants in the area. Cute patio, excellent music. Great for smallish groups (10 or less). Downtown Scottsdale needs more places like this instead of Giant Chain restaurants. Pros: friendly, cozy, great food more
